I have 3 girls. I love perfume, hence why I'm here watching a perfume video. My girls have their favorite perfumes in my collection and the only time I have a problem with it depends on where they are going. Like school and any close encounters. Don't want them turning anybody's nose up or the teacher complaining😂 other than that, I'm glad they have good taste 😊 but I don't judge them if they have a scent that I don't like.
Mom here of masculine and feminine boys and girls. All of my fragrances are fair play for all of them, why not? Fragrance has aromatherapy benefits and it’s fun for them. They will only ask once in a blue moon, anyway, and gravitate towards anything that smells like “pancakes” (for some reason, this is widespread kid-speak for any kind of gourmand 😆). As for makeup, why not? I wear it, along with a lot of adults in their lives, so they are naturally curious. I make sure the few products I buy for them (eyeshadow, blush, lip balms) are made in the USA, nontoxic etc., and we emphasize natural looks (they know that the heavy stuff is for fancy grown-up occasions, theater actors, Halloween costumes and clowns). Although I once saw one of their classmates on the playground with some WILD looks, and everyone just thought it was a total hoot, it’s just a child 😊 PS My thoughts on these topics have evolved greatly over two decades of being a parent. Some of it came from changing societal attitudes and knowledge, and some of it resulted from me really deeply analyzing why I saw things a certain way.
Didn't know Messi was into fragrances but now I'm curious. Also, Ormonde Jayne fragrances have great scent profiles, my favorite is Montabaco Intensivo. "Thanks Anya for the rundown."🙂👍
Play makeup for character dress up is a place and time healthy activity ✨️ My girls wear fragrance for special occasions and I think that's fine. The 8 year old loves fragrance. I limit it because of any possible health issues. I do try to keep it water-based and essential oils. Perfumers alcohol is harsh on the lungs and skin.
I have tested all 3 from Nicolai. Macaron bourbon is almond, rum and Rose. But for me its little bit mature. Pavlova is pinacollda scent, but too simple.
No harm in kids wearing perfume! My best friends kid loves to steal her warm vanilla sugar body spray from bath and body works. The smells can be comforting to kids, very much like aroma therapy. If it's a fruit or vanilla forward fun smell there shouldn't be anything wrong with it. When I was a kid we all started wearing axe in gym class by age 9 when we had to start changing for gym. This I assume would be less synthetic and less likely to choke someone out haha.
Whether or not children should wear perfume should be left up to the parent of said child. My son sees my love for fragrance and he likes fragrance as well. He is 6 and he will occasionally wear a light scent. Age appropriate and only when he wants to.
Mom of 2 here...big no on the children's perfume for me. Who do they want to smell nice for? Should they be learning to question if they smell ok without it? It's just a cash grab imo. If they want to play, put some water in an empty perfume bottle. Just my initial thoughts.
New Nicolai Saint Honore is so comforting,. Beautifull hazelnut note with lactonic vanilla.
