O Jesus, I pray for your Priests,
for your faithful and fervent Priests,
for your unfaithful and tepid Priests,
for your Priests labouring at home and abroad in distant mission fields,
for your tempted Priests,
for your lonely and desolate Priests,
for your young Priests, for your ill Priests, for your dying Priests,
for your retired Priests,
for the souls of your Priests in Purgatory.
For the Pope, bishops and all clergy.
But above all, I pray for those Priests dearest to me.
the Priest who baptized me,
the Priests who heard my Confessions,
the Priest who gave me your Body and Blood for the first time,
the Priests who taught and instructed me in the faith,
the Priests whose masses i attended and whose sermons touched my soul,
the Priests who visited me, when i was down and out in life,
the Priests who administered the last rites to my dying loved ones,
the Priests who came to me in hospital, prison, in a foreign land etc.
And all Priests who I am indebted to in any way.
Oh Jesus, keep them close to your Heart and Bless them abundantly in time and in Eternity.
