im having a problem the user accout i store it in the firestore database now that im doing the forgot password it does not update in the firestore how can i solve it

You won't be able to update the password from there because it stores the password in auth directly

Hello! Nice video it helped me a lot but I have two problems:
First: When I click the reset password button, the progress bar doesn't show up, and I have the code like you.
And second: I have the authentification in the gradle but it won't do anythin when I click the reset password button. I think this last error also affects the firts one.
Some help would be appreciated.

@@gabrielgip2 Yes I fixed it by sending email manually to the user from the console and then trying from the application and it worked
