This is my short animation about colt 1911. (.45) Parts are not very precise, just modeled by using blueprints. Animation has few mistakes. I hope you don't mind.
I completely took apart my 1911 one time after a camping trip with horrible weather. I would have paid a good amount of money for this video back then. The amount of cursing involved while putting it back together was epic. I only packed a revolver for trips after that.
Your animation starts off incorrectly. To check and make sure the chamber is empty, step ONE is to remove the magazine. A lot of people make this mistake and end up chambering a round by accident.
@@FlashBang33 Safety minded instructors, such as myself and the many instructors that I worked and trained with while in the Marine Corps, will always agree that you drop the magazine FIRST. I have seen a few people eject a chambered round with the magazine still inserted and when the slide fails to lock to the rear, they will THEN drop the magazine. Problem is, THEY JUST CHAMBERED ANOTHER ROUND. That's when they pull the trigger, thinking that the chamber is empty because they dropped the magazine, and then BOOM! Court martial.
This is undoubtedly the very best video for the complete teardown of the 45. All of the other "real" vids are poor compared to this one. The biggest problem most others have is lack of light directed at the teardown of the internal parts of the frame i.e. the sear pin, sear disconnector etc. GREAT JOB!!! and thanks
Were there just one cartrige in the magazine,it would be engaged into the barrel...First I would take the magazine off, then check the barrel. Nice Video.
I would use the words "there are no bullets in the magazine" instead of "is no bullets". I would also cock the hammer before moving the slide back to remove the slide stop. Much easier that way. Otherwise, it's a great video. Job well done.
Congrats. This the best animated video of the complete disassembly of a 1911 pistol without some talking head who may not ID all the parts or mispronounced the names of the parts.. I've seen one other animated video almost identical to this without any identification of the parts so this is A and 1A. I hope you do the same for reassembly. PLEASE!

Man, drop mag, then make sure barrel is empty. Great video!

To be fair if you actually look into the chamber you can see if there's around in the magazine. Most people just rack the slide without looking

A very simple pistol, and a evolutionary design for its time.
Das Allerbeste/Deutlichste Detail Video einerWaffe !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RIESEN Lob an Dich !!!
Perfect video for this kinda thing. I wish there were more animated 3D videos for technical fixes. Could you do one for motorcycle engines?

Very good video and thanks for starting with making sure gun is empty. Next time mention how springs are under tension and can come out forcefully.
Very good. Did you use inventor or solidworks?
This music sounds like Subnautica. It is an alien underwater exploration game.
thank you flawless and very clear
I'm getting my first nineteen eleven here this friday and I am very excited thank you for this video
Very nice 👍🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
wow. that is awesome!
which program did you use for this animation? I think it's very good..
Amazing..
Fantastic, thanks!
Great work, why do you prefer Maya from Inventor and how long you model this?
Muito bom. Perfeito!
you did the ammo check backwards, you remove the mag, then you cycle the slide
Thanks, may you do the same type of demonstration for the glock 45
this is my favourite gun
Of corse, no problem, I'll send you... Cheers
hey could i get the animation for this? it is useful and i hope to design some stuff myself. thanks!
At 0.25 it's better to write : empty chamber 😊
They also forgot to warn people about spring tension
