I would love for Aiden to have lived and interact with Sid and Adam. I'm sure they'd brighten her up a little. But she is definitely one of my favorite CSIs.
Mac made sure that the investigation into Aiden’s murder was done by the book. I wasn’t surprised to learn that the rapist that Aiden was investigating killed her.
Mac remembered that he fired her because she tampered with evidence whilst trying to get DJ Pratt. Which she admitted and acknowledged. So doing it by the book was the only way they could.
@@AurianWarriorOfDarkness the victim wouldn't testify against Pratt who had raped her not once but twice. The first time he left a hair behind in Regina Bowman. Aiden tampered with evidence from the first assault because the second assult kit done on Regina Bowman gave her no new evidence so she was fired.
@@AurianWarriorOfDarkness True, but she did end up breaking protocol, and you know that above all Mac may value justice, but with that must come integrity, and Aiden broke that rule when she broke the evidence seal. Still, I'm glad they got justice for her and put that SOB away. (Better late than never, however).
If you care and follow the show.. At @3:13 where Danny is like trying to believe that Aiden isnt dead and then when Danny just drops his head and walks away when its being proved that Aiden is dead @3:30 is heartbreaking

Except in Emily Prentiss's case, there wasn't proof that she was dead, especially with an Empty coffin, in Aidan's case on the other hand, there was proof as well as a body
Ask powers that be @ CBStation why they disliked Nessa? Was it Ferlito? Brown Bias? Was it Vanessa? Empowered woman, not a guys club team player. Was it misoginy fridging? Was it rumors bout her being LGBTQ or at least in favor of the cause as CSI New Orleans proved? Not even Forensics can answer all those relevant queries. Aiden died a hero (she left some bite marks behind) & Mac & Stella were able to bring her death to justice.

I looked up the name "Aiden," and it is related to fire. It means "fire," "little fire," or "fiery one." So both names are associated with fire.
