Thanks Karen I have 4 hours of raw footage to edit into our video. I just put this snippet together on Sunday to keep my fans happy LOL It'll take a while. I'd like to embed some of your stills but will just do a rough edit first up and send it to you and Dieter for feedback before we finalise it.
Thank you for your kind words. I'm just really starting out in the world of underwater video so feed back (good or constructive is greatly appreciated) A for "Just Mantas" it was great to have such compliant actors (the fishy ones that is) it is difficult to go wrong! I plan to make a DVD with Karen and Deiter of Cocos dive using some of the 4 hrs of footage I shot last week and plan to have and some of Karen's stunning stills photography but that will take some time
Thank you for your comments, I'd go back tomorrow if I could! I am really, really interested in how the mantas move their palps as they engage with each other and as the come upon the cleaning station. I am sure this is a form of communication. I can feel a PhD coming on "Talk to the animals!" Oh No!
Thanks Glen - can't wait to get back there! This little movie was the culmination of five dives, so there's a lot on the editing room floor. Hopefully you'll be able to use some of the music I referred you to.
