guitar sounds crap. more like surf rock or rockabilly. not hard at all. solo's also not good and not catchy. there's no psychedelic stuff like in early pink floyd. simple instruments, simple tunes. no sound experiments and improvisation. just pop as it is. but anyway I'll buy vinyl if it has better quality than that 64kbps mix.

You're wrong. I've been listen the qms a lot. But still in my opinion the Jonny's have no psychedelic elements at all. Maybe some country and rock n roll elements.

If your knowledge of psych rock is "pink floyd," you'll probably be disappointed because you're right, there is little to no experimentation here. That's because it not based off of pink floyd, its based off of more of the structured psychedelia acts of the time like Steppenwolf, early doors, Yardbirds, Love, etc, as well some of the above listed. It borders on pop and rhythm, in addition to rock, in some cases. You're welcome to disagree, and welcome to dislike it, I respect that its your opinion. But I would respectfully suggest you reference the bands that WE were looking at before you make that critique.

Yes, I remember this band! It was during the fall of Saigon (for the smaller ones it was during WW4) that we used to hear them. Nice group and patriots: they even got pictures with my regiment as we were posiing above the bodies and listening FINALLY FREE. Great times.

Yep, and no second name. Johnny was the It-Guy in Manchester around 1966. Later moved to the USA to "make it big". Never happened. He didn't dig the Summer of Love vibe and was too introverted for the Las Vegas clubs. Made one attempt at Disco in the 70s and then disappeared.
I think the clothing and hair style is more like 1972. The appearance seems a year or two later than the music. Other than that, pretty good. I think they were from the Netherlands, or Denmark?

AI makes the sound and the melody, in most cases. I write the lyrics and the instructions for voice, timber, keys, rhythm, bpm, instruments, style, composition, etc. and I do the mixing. The more specific the instructions, the more control over the outcome. Generic instructions make generic sounds. Most AI programs can't recognize band/song references, plus the software and terms of use don't allow using other people's property. I could (and sometimes do) hypothetically make a "collage" of my own track components, but that's it.

Not heavy psych, but the AI did a good job at imitating the 60's analog production and how the instruments and the amps sounded at the time.
