At very least some acknowledgement, and maybe even some relief or improvement.
Sure has been rough the past 7 or so years: mostly, was riding my bicycle when hit by a speeding car - lots and lots of physical injuries, especially a TBI traumatic brain injury. I miss the old me, who could think clearly and creatively. Now I am deaf, broke, relatively stupid and confused, trying not to be discouraged or to lose heart.
If nothing else this has made me appreciate my former health and vibrancy and good luck.
So I can believe in cycles. And hope this long struggle will come around with an end to this cycle - or at least some alleviation of all the loss and suffering. I am grateful for all who have helped me.
