I noticed that after I rarely play MLBB, just 1 or 2 match a day, I rarely got overly weak team. A few months ago, when I play for hours and hours, I often encounter these dark systems.
I second that, I get fairly good players (both in my team and enemy) when I'm playing few matches. But as soon as I start playing non stop, its never evenly matched.
same here i have been playing only 3-4 games a day but i am already in legend decent wr last season i was struggling as hell in epic when i used to play 10+ matches a day
This is not game, this is money machine - u gamble for skins, they keep u with the dark system, why is everything blue? Blue light keeps u awake in the nights.
Nah, its more of an individuals choice. Don't ask the Government to "put up laws" You'll just open up a lot more trouble no matter how well intended the law is, easier said than done. Especially if the Government officials that were elected are as inept as the people who put them in place.
This type of manipulation feels illegal. They're using psychology and forces you to think to "Never give up!" which is their motto for events like M series. They're using your anger for something like revenge or redemption. And if you actually win, it feels rewarding as if you did something when in reality, they made you win. This also includes AI matches you can get, which I assume if your team has high play time but low wr then they basically give you a free game.
The a.i. match usually kicks in after losing 4-5 consecutive matches, sometimes after only 3 losses but very rarely. Anyone can try this, after losing 4-5 matches bc your teammates are horrible, the game will set you up with 9 bots, so you can demolish them and feel good again, now get ready to lose another 4-5. Last season I was playing many hours a day and had over 80wr, then the dark system kicked in and I lost 40 stars in less than 24 hours. From 52 stars with 80 something wr to 7 stars with 47wr. So I just deleted and never played again. I just returned yesterday and now I'm again at 82wr and almost glory, waiting for the system to kick in
This conspiracy are so trippy yet true as it gets...3days prior, i got a whole 4 hours of losing (dont remember how many matches...but a full squad game basically) as we sadly didn't get any win...the day after, we won basically 2 ranked bot matches, a whole "rising" gamemode tournament in ease...and another 2 hours of winning...but yesterday, they gave us a balance lose and winning matches😅😅
Dark system is horrible because it punishes players who are doing their best to carry their teammates' asses, although I think its important to remember that not every game is winnable because the skill level of every player in a game is different. Its just about having a good mental and doing your best to influence the game, and to not forget to log off and have a break if ur having a bad streak!
@@arigatameiwaku find decent teammates and teamup with them. Solo is for casual players and stuburn players they know they struggle yet they still refuse to use the most efficient way to win and rank up.
@arigatameiwaku everyone experiences the dark system, in fact its players who are high ranked who even made the term popular. The reason why I mention this is because those who reach immortal are the ones who had to hard carry their teammates. No one reaches that rank in solo queue unless they are good, right? Immortal players are experienced enough to know what to do to win, but why is it that most solo queue players in that rank don't have an astounding winrate (70-80%)? That's because they experience the system too, they are just good enough to not care about it.
@@arigatameiwakuRoamers are really op if you know how to actually do stuff with them. They are the second most important role after jg imo. They initiate, set(sometimes), provide vision, communicate(estimate where the enemies are) and help objectives. I am saying this cuz I reached immortal last season with just roam (from mythic cuz playing roam from epic to legend is actual hell)
Simple tip I have learn after playing solo, never show your high mmr or good win rate cause after team seeing your capable of carrying them they completely pick non master hero. Like I got 18 kills and my team got all choco
@@kazen16 its not a theory. ask any mh or mg player and its the sad reality. its not as common in mi (since most of them at mi are not willing to intentionally lose), but any rank under it is just players intentionally losing whenever they are unable to carry (basically ego players). it is also the reason hiding leaderboard mmr for heroes is an available option, to prevent trollers
complete opposite. whenever i get to pick at last slot, i always ask for the winrate (especially jungler and mm) and if they cannot show, i do not use my mastered heroes or high mmr heroes. Instead i go for unfamiliar heroes. Why would i risk my hero winrates or mmr without knowing if your team is trash or not?
Bro I had a teammate showing fanny with good wr but for some reason trolled to extend feeding to Layla. Bro 1 by 1 against Layla can lose even B4 late game
FYI: playing mobile legends has the same feeling when gambling. If you lose, you keep have the urge to play again thinking that you're gonna win on the next match. If you win, you will feel like it's your lucky day thinking that you will have a winning streak so you keep playing.
The Dark System is The Star system. Matchmaking isn't the problem but its the Star System that is the problem. Moneyton needs to get rid of the Stars so that the Dark System goes with it. By going with the Point System, now everyone can achieve their own personal goals and climb the ranks without relying on Stars or winning matches all the times. The Point system will also show us who the bad players are and the ones that were carried by their squads to Mythic rank. Point system will also allow Solo Q players to reach Mythical Glory and Immortal without relying heavily on a damn great team. You win a match, you get added 100 points. You lose a match, you get subtracted 100 points. But you get Bonus Performance points like getting MPV Loss which is 50 points, Triple Kill for 15 points, 20 assist for 15 points, First Blood for 10 points, Savage kills for 30 points and etc. These performance points will offset your Loss points and showing others that you tried your best to win but your dumb troll teammates throw the match. Now if you win the match, you get 100 points plus the additional bonus points thus raising you closer to your goals. If you pick certain roles like Jungler and Roam, you get bonus points. And if you beat other players with far higher points than you, you get additional bonus points too. After that, each Rank will have a Point requirement to reach to be in that rank. Mythical Immortal needs 8,000 Points. Mythical Glory is 5,000 points. Mythic Rank is 2,500 points. Legend is 1,500 points and so on. By going this route, it will motivate players to play and not worry too much about just winning. It will allow them to all have fun while winning or losing because each individual performances will help them or beat them. Any players that have low points will always be match with other low points players too within that field in Ranked. This will ensure you are only match with players that are in your field of points. Each individual player will now reach their own success without heavily relying on stars and allies to do so. But Moneyton won't go this route because they want us all to keep playing and losing so that they make so much money from spending diamonds. This game is a toxic environment due to the Star system and that its all about winning rather than having fun. Moneyton talks so much about a non-toxic environment where we should just have fun and play like we're friends. But they don't do anything about the Star system rather they encourage it because they want winners and losers. The Star system heavily favors squads more than Solo players. To promote a more friendlier and less toxic environment, Moneyton needs to go with the Point system. Its not just a skills-issues with players, but rather the system that holds back some really great players. We can only reach Mythic Rank by winning Stars and we cannot do it alone because we need some great teammates. With the Point system, even if you don't have great teammates, your performance will carry you to your goals while the bad players will still stay at the bottom. We are not Pro players and we will never reach 5,000 Stars so get rid of the fudging Star System and go with the Point System.
they don't even properly punish those who intentionally throw the match, those feeding to enemies, those with 3.0 with poor kda when the losing Mvp gets like 8.1 or smth. Whatever the players say or complain, moonton doesn't give a f**k, all they know is Money Money.... The streamers and content creators need to point this out for players' sake but i see nobody does and nobody cares! cause Moneyton won't pay them anymore?
@@rawrharry8772 This is amazing, I have never seen a better suggestion than this! You should post this somewhere or get it some attention to force Moonton to do this
The last Match Making system checks put according to my experience. Whenever I play in my side accounts which have also reached the same rank as my main account at Mythic Honor, I often encounter bad enemies. I would go on a win streak until after an hour or so, I'd lose twice after getting teammates with 40% WRs and below. This happens to all of them and not just that isolated case so I already had my suspicions xD.
Thanks man, I'll try this experiment as well, because the way we get trolled in the African server is insane. Sometimes for no reason at all even though we don't use a vpn, we get thrown into the EU server even though our pings were green in the lobby
this happened to me even though i was not play in a rank game. after i lost three game in a row with really bad teammates every of those game i stop playing for two day(i know its not rank but it still really make me frustrating). Then when i play again after two days i got a good teammates so i kind of believe the dark system really do exist. Still gonna watch your stream later as usual ruby keep up the good contents! 👍
Can definitely relate in everything that you said, i am in no way a professional player but what was said about the skill gap is on point. I just came from a bad match up and went here You will see it first in pick phase, no mage no roam boots, 2 mms or 2 cores and all the shenannigans Also you can include the way the game add bots to your matches to supplement the mmr gap. You can see those bots immediately logout after a single game with no play history You might also want to do an experiment where in some games, the balance of the game is a bit off Like an in match silent buff/nerf depending in which side of the dark system you are, Could include move speed, RNG/DMG calculators. Small factors you can actually notice if you pay attention. Anyway losing a fair game is also fun as long as you know that every member of the team did well and par with the other parry
Damn, i've never thought about tracking losing tolerance. I have around 3000 matches in rank with 66% wr (almost exclusievly solo q, pretty rare duo) and 54 max stars. Always thought that darksystem theory is BS, but the thing is, I rarely play games after defeat, if I get 2 loses in a row - I'm stopping 100% of cases. Really curious if that's the reason why my wr is pretty high.
I think it is, ive heard of stories where people do that or something similar and maintain high rank with high wr then when people do the opposite they end up in a ls, ive experienced both and can confirm but the nail in the coffin for me is the story of a 86 star solo player spamming rank amd ending up with i think 60
Three seasons ago, I did almost the same thing you just proposed. I would lose two games, whether consecutive or not, and then I’d leave the game. Always playing solo queue as a tank or filling, and never surrendering. The other thing I did was play a maximum of three games if I won-no more, no less. That time, without rushing, I reached Mythic in a very relaxed way, and I even made it to 30 stars (which was a lot for me, haha). The next season, I didn’t follow any of those rules, I even played duo, and everything became more complicated. Not only did they pair us with people of lower rank, but also with very few games played. My duo and I easily surpassed 5k, but our allies didn’t even reach 500 individually-it was awful. I look forward to the results of your research, it’s interesting to know how matchmaking works and if this "dark system" really exists or if it’s just the consequence of how everything is set up. Good luck!
I'm also eagerly awaiting the results of my research. It's gonna be a long one, but I believe it'll be well worth it! Thanks for sharing your experience :)
@@RubyRubyRubyGaming Hi, last season I followed somewhat exactly that you mentioned you are going to do. 1 rank match per day, win or lose doesn't matter. 1 classic also per day. I ended up with 26 mythic star with 62% win rate. I also started some other games and reduced my game time in MLBB. I love MLBB but learnt to love it less going forward. One needs to be mature enough to understand this dark system but all the players don't have the realisation ability. So montoon can do this for the headless chickens. If you are wise, reduce your game time for a specific game but try something new i.e. 5 hours in not one game but 1 hour in 5 games. Believe me, every renowned game has its own dark method!!
Remember that everyone gets their ranks reset right after the season. You could be matched with former mythical glory players in the same game cuz yall are in epic rn
Picks strong early game hero Dominates the whole game One small mistake at the end of the enemy's base 📢 "Defeat" Edit : only possible to carry 500 lbs of clown teammates along with dark system if I had Lukas but too bad he banned every match
The problem with trying to hunt this thing is next to impossible... Players are tilted? Players got bad connection, players are not mentally ready (warm up games), using a bad device, bro is playing with the account? And so many more factors, it's not just you who you need to check but the actual team and enemies too... It's really hard to determine, I suggest take it or take a break 😂
The best solution to this is a mmr reset not, rank reset I think the game stores information on really good players . The game contains high amount of data to achieve this. You play get a star, lose the star next match, get two stars lose two stars in the lossing ones you're always the loss mvp. the games where it feels like you have to play with zero mistakes and carry your team. I'm a roam main so this is very difficult. The players the dark system affect the most are players without a lot of experience but are very good players that know how to win, they have inflated mmr. Players that have experience or know that hyper early game carry jungler, players in teams, duos can don't have this issue especially in this dmg burst meta The dark system is also common in big servers where there is a high amount of casual players, the amount is so high that the fact that a player knows to watch a UA-cam video on mlbb places them in the top percent. Every player in this comment is above the 60 percentile im sure. The 59 downwards players are normal casuals and there's too much of them. When the game gives a normal very good casual above 60 a team below 60 to carry because it think s those players are beyond casual is another form pf the dark system
When Moonton monopolized their game further with this evil system, it made me question the point of playing this game. The fun I'll get from a full session will always be a forced 50%; the half is pure agony.
i think mlbb has actually addressed how they did they matchmaking system, i remember seeing it on their facebook page or something. the post was made many years ago irrc. they mentioned something about elo system using factors such as current winrate, past game performance etc.
I had a hobby of doing this as well, whenever I lose, I just stop playing, whenever I encounter weak teammates, even if we barely managed to win it, I stop playing. On a 7 winstreak now using mostly supports. (my friend broke my ws so it should've been higher). But when me or my cousin grind for hours, we experience the same dark system on solo
Players took advantage of the skill based matchmaking before by using their rarely used heroes to tank mmr in order to be matched up with low mmr players while using their mains. Now, if you guys are wondering how low skilled players are in mythic, its the result of the all rank teamup event. But in some games the skilled teams is still better but those carried players are whats also making us lose in solo queue. So your wr can only be helped nowadays if you are in a squad but still us gamers will triumph by play hard or play smart
I've played Australia and NZ server. I noticed that encountering dark system is pretty low, and their play style is very disciplined. The moment I played in the Philippines server (my original server) the imbalance between teams is just unbearable, even with constant cache clearing.
servers in southeast asia always feel like hell for Moba players. let's say games like Dota 2, Mobile Legend, all will feel harder if played on southeast asia servers.
Few days back I had a win streak for 7 matches directly in ranked. Then in the 8th match I was teamed up with terrible teammates who all played a markman.. Well it was a crushing defeat.
Im a causal player in mlbb, who hit a high rank in an older account, but I do remember in a season where I used to play 5 games max and stop at every 2 loses ,I got to 71 stars, with 78% wr in pure soloque, I didn't even continue playing because it wasn't a target for me to reach a higher rank, but stopping after 2 loses had got me way better matchmaking system than my friend with similar skill level, spamming alot of matches everyday regardless of the loses
A few weeks ago i had a lot of time on my hands and played a lot. I went from mythic 30 to 10 stars in the span of 3 days. It was almost a perfect lose streak. I like playing Zhask (60%wr), but I usually roam tank filled because no-one else wanted to, and if you force them to fill they definitely aren't trying their best. It didn't occur to me to check my teams' stats afterwards, but I probably should have. It's a terrible feeling to get roam mvp on the losing side. I quit the game for a while after that. Later, I did notice one thing when I was playing with my mate who is a top US Gusion. We were both Mythic (about 30 & 50), we had a 10 something loss streak, and in most enemy teams, there was someone who was currently over 130 stars. This was towards the end of s34, so i don't think there was a lack of similar players in matchmaking. I have a pretty high loss tolerance (it is just a game), but it's discouraging to know that the more I want to play, the more I'm gonna lose. (Side note, when I was at around Mythic 50, I had what I thought was a bot game because of the complete steamroll. Turns out the enemy tank was a Legend player. There's no way to feel good about this...)
Finally, I found the person who reached the same conclusion as me. But this video left out the one aspect that MLBB use to measure the tolerance of your losing which is collector level. If you collector level is low MLBB don't even bother with your losing tolerance. Anyway good video.
i have noticed also that when you constantly used the same hero every game there are also defferences with the damage output considering you almost set the same item. they made the hero weak.
Another thing i notice is that the game will match you with bot teammates to take your main role if you are on a winning streak, or one star away from the next rank
This is what I find too... in the last season, when I keep playing after losing, I get really bad teams on a 10 streak loss. Then I got fed up and stopped whenever I lost for a couple of days. Now I get ok team. At least 2 decent players including me, 1 who doesnt know what to do at all, and 2 that are okay-ish just obviously inexperienced
Wow been a long while have been waiting for your new vid for months offer the zhuxin vid. I was busy and dint realize you were uploading again. Welcome back😊
Nice vid, interesting experiment. Always been skeptical of dark system because personal recounts of people complaining about arent strong points for it(negativity bias, etc) but now im excited to see the results of your experiment. I do find that the reddit post about it was slightly weak in the fact that it wasnt dark system but just straight up bad matchmaking(imo bad matchmaking and dark system is different). The poster plays in a relatively small server(pakistan flag) so there isnt a big pool of players like ph and indo server, so the matchmaking just speeds it up and compromises on the star difference and duo/trio disparity. The poster also probably used speed up function which is a big trap if you want fairer games.
IMO none of the current posts "uncovering" the dark system actually are strong evidence, so you're right that its weak evidence. Weak as their sample size is literally just one match that doesn't prove anything.
You are on to something I always get win streak when i have exams because I can't play more than 4 matches per day while in vacations it is always lose streak
I've been noticing that whenever I lose really badly, my team is really bad compared to me, gameplay-wise and stat-wise. While the enemy team is collectively better compared to me. There are some fun matches where I feel that both teams are approx at equal skill level. Also, I have noticed that whenever I lose 1 game horribly, the next match is super easy. I do believe that moonton's matchmaking is borked
wait I've actually had a very similar theory for a while now, and the funny thing is my experience seems to support it. 2 years ago when I was super invested in the game I just played essentially non-stop. Needless to say that was probably the time where my personal skill level was at the highest, yet I ended that season with a 47% winrate.. now, I don't play nearly as much and always stop after a loss. I'm undoubtedly much worse at the game now, but my winrate now stays at 60%+, last season I got a 75% winrate somehow
This has happened to me a lot. especially since the new season. I know first week of the season is hell but this much loosing streak is just weird. awful matchmaking with bad teammates and very skilled opponents. last season was the first time I've ever played MLBB and I got to Legend 1 rank somewhat easily but now it's hard getting out of Epic 3!!! but the trick said in this video sounds reasonable. I will stop playing after 2 losses from now on to see if it works and if I get better matchmaking. just 2 nights ago I played 11 matches and only got 3 wins out of those matches. out of those 8 losses I had 5 MVP of the losing team. really crushed my win rate!!!
It is definitely a real thing. After I hit legend 3 days ago, after a 15ish winstreak, the very next game I got 2 people on my team that both only play midlane in their recent lane info. I main roam, with flex exp and gold (only clint 😂) and most of the time I queue solo because I cant regularly plays with my friends. But when we do grouped up as 5, we consistently beat immortals while never reach it ourselves (all of us are old time dota players, so yeah)
I was almost stuck at mythic glory 94 playing solo q trying to reach immortal before the season was ending. I discovered a thing and i got 8 winning streak in ranked games and reached the immortal rank. What i did i won 2 matches and played like 5 matches in classic. I played mostly new heroes and trying them to play them. then again i played 2 ranked matches and grind classic for 5 matches. i reached immortal eventually but if i had not done that i might have stayed stuck at 94 winning and losing.
@@loading...7232 Okay, so im guessing you dont play MLBB anymore? And that's about right but for sure you got lucky. Its usually about 600 matches for Solo Q players
I have over 15000 games in mlbb over many years of on and off play and what I have learned is +Only Play main heroes in rank +Learn many roles even if u specialize in one or two +Go into classic and play heroes you have never played before it's fun and you learn how they work +Avoid playing solo the less randoms the more control you have over the game go duo or trio and go 5q only when your buddies are good enough cuz 5q tend to be hard games Plus the advices from this video stop after losing 2 games Happy ranking 😊
What's also annoying is getting queued up with people from other continents. Either you're lagging or they are. I understand most players are in SEA, but I'm playing in NA and constantly getting players from SEA and SA.
I'm a decent player, but I got stuck in this trap. My win percentage is usually around 60%. After 100 games this season, I was at 48%. I knew that I didn't get worse overnight, so I started doing something different. I started signing off after every game and waiting about 1 minute before getting back on. My win percentage is already up to 58% and I haven't gotten to 200 games yet. For context, I solo 90% of the time and I'm a tank main.
If you wanna carry the game just spam Hylos Roam (red blessing) or Exp Lane with vengeance first build direct Thunderbelt to stack defense points early then dominance ice, athenas or radiant armor, blade armor or antique quirass lastly twilight armor depending on the enemy and the boots always tough boots always zone their damage dealer priorities their marksman and only use vengeance for them if they have assassin like Haya or Nolan snow balling your damage dealer just always wait for them to engage and time your skill 1 when they dash in then boom it’s easy to carry solo
I have no problem if my team lacks level, but what I hate is to have a team that does not care about the formation, such as if I choose jungle while my ally chooses jungle or 3mm, no roam..., or for the ally not to go to his lane, this is what makes me lose.
You will reach Mythical Immortal but it will take you over 300 matches to do so. Win percentage for Solo Q Player is 60% so meaning you will lose 40% of your matches. So if you start at Mythic with 10 stars, you need 90 Stars to reach Immortal. Since win percentage is 60%, you will need to play a minimum of 126 matches to accomplish your goal. But keep in mind that this is only if you win 2 matches and lose 1 match. I'm not including other factors where you lose 3 straight matches or win 3 straight matches. Or have like 5 Star Protections to hinder you from going backward. When these factors are included, you will likely need 250 matches to reach Immortal.
Hey everyone. So I very rarely make posts but I felt like sharing my side of the story concerning this dark system to contribute to your research. I’m an immortal player (mostly soloq) from Europe. Max stars 188 and I usualy play around 5-10 games per day at nighttime. Out of my 8000 TOTAL games with mental brakes from the game from season to season thanks to this BS darksystem, I have 3500 MVP games and just over 1000 MVP losses xd… I play any role and any hero at high level except ling and Fanny. Many years ago when Esmeralda was a beast I could carry 1v9 games all day just focusing on farming, positioning for fights and taking out back lines etc. sadly there is no hero that can solo carry games anymore if ur teammates are bad enough or enemies too strong overall vs ur own “bots”. I’ve had experiences of losing 22 games in a row (yes u read that right) in one sitting. I was maining roam and had 14 MVP losses as roam out of those 22 games. I don’t really get mad and have ALOT of patience so I just continue grinding. But something I noticed when I stopped SOLOQ and tried more trio/5q is that our enemies were always trio/5q of 500-1000 star players, like 80% of the time and many times the same enemies. I’m not egotistical believing I’m the best player in the world etc etc but I see myself playing at their level since I beat them most of the time in my lane or outplay/engage to give my team an advantage in objectives or team fights. HOWEVER even the strong players I had in my team weren’t on par, it’s if me and the enemies were 9.5/10’s and my teammates 7.5, not bad but not quite good enough to make those micro/macro plays to pull out a win. And I have NO problem with losing GOOD games! I love the competitive spirit with matches going a bit back and forward like u ur self suggested in the video. One way street matches aren’t enjoyable/rewarding for any part. What I wanted to add is that when my “teammates” that I duoed and 5q:ed with eventually gave up and started playing without me and my CURSED hidden mmr stats, they all of a sudden get ez pz games where they can carry with their eyes closed going on 7+ game winning streaks etc. but the MOMENT they team up with me it’s back to vs:ing 500-1k+ players and losing :p Hope this information can help in any way or at the very least contribute to the suspicion of a darksystem which I unfortunately can very much agree on existing. May the system be in your favor if you read this post! :)
Sometimes even in early game, my opponents damage is really big, one hit almost half hp gone!, I always realize that sometimes...at first encounter I already can tell we're gonna win or lose 😂
I am constantly either crushing my opponents or getting crushed cuz my teamates are stupid and feed. I RARELY get a mildly interesting match that is even.
this could be true cuz i noticed a strange pattern last season, basically, i have two friends that i rank up with, one of them plays nonstop even when hes on a lose streak, and the other one stops playing when we lose and says we try tomorrow when i play with first friend i lose all the time, the problem is hes not bad or anything, in fact we dominate most of the time but we usually lose at the end cuz of how terrible the teammates are ( 0-15 miya💀) but when i play with my other friend we always win streak, even tho hes not as good as my other friend, so i think the system knows that my other friends doesnt mind losin so hes always queued with terrible players, while me and my other friends always stop after one loss, if this isnt enough proof then, in season 33 i played solo only, and my strategy was to play 3 rank matches everyday, then go classic or brawl until tomorrow, and it actually worked, so u guys need to show the system that u hate losing in ranked, so u dont get queued with losers.
Been trying to explain this to people for soo long. I finally couldnt take it anymore about 3 months ago and quit BUT I like the game so that sucks. Literally quit the game because of matchmaking and no other reason
It's funny that I actually do that. I have a rule that I will stop playing if I lose a total of 3 matches. It kinda works, I almost never lose and increased my wr to 60% which is amazing, and my teammates are good.
Yes its real especially this season tell me how tf do i ex immortal get match up with stuck epic legend mythic players who highest not even glory 70+ . When i get this to customer services its the same ai ass responses saying match up base on wr rank and so on while my wr are at 70% 3 days after season in mythic . My team's however 15 star mythoc with 50% wr like how howww
last season I rushed from epic to glory in the last 2 weeks of the season so I played a lot in a single session and I notice I got significantly lower winrate. in previous seasons where I casually rank up with just 2-3 match a day I got significantly waay higher winrate and better matchmaking.
Only possible in lower ranks like Master to Epic. Not possible in Legend or Mythic. Highest I ever gotten was 11 straight wins in Mythical Honor and it was pure luck that I gotten a lot of great teammates. Otherwise, you need a squad to hit 20 straight wins.
heres a tip for yall, play on severs which are less crowded for instance severs like france have really good players in legend rank right now. im currently playing in legend 3 as a support main and trust me when i say, the team coordination and macro skills are so much better than my own sever which is indo. and the game quality is so good and competitive from both sides i wouldn't even mind loosing 10 games in a row
I played 2 games last night and the first game was a crushing defeat that make no sense why my enemies are too strong with different usual lineup. After that, the next game was somewhat became too easy in which i carried my teammates as mid. I'm still in epic yet it feels like often times I meet higher ranks after an easy win, thus auto crushing defeat. Moontoon is really making fun of me even though I play casually.
when i solo Q .. waiting time is 20 seconds.. when i play with my friends.. waiting time is 3 minutes.. the system tries so hard to ruin your day.. and my friends are not even that skilled.. we only play together for fun.. one of them didn't even reach mythic because how bad he is.. but behold..a mythic immortal team against us..
Personally only play 2-4 games a day and never encountered it. I'm unsure if it's because I play a lower rank than my real ranking. I only play up to 60 stars per season and I end with 83% WR, so idk if I'm too low to notice it OR it only affects people who play more than 15 games per day. Because if you think about it, the game probably can't match you with the same enemies you've encountered before, so the pool of opponents you are given gets lower and lower until the matchmaking gets desperate and just sets you up with who is available.
been solo q this season and it was the worst so far ,unlike other season this season if so manipulative like i was able to predict i will lose streak after having one lose match
for me im gonna stop playing mlbb next year and ill be focusing on playing wild rift and wish me luck cuz i think its gonna be hell when i reach higher ranks in that game
As a full squad player when we get easy enemies we dont feel much interesting playing it as it isnt that competitive but when we get good enemies we feel happy even if we lose if the enemies are 300 or 400+ stars players. But the frustration is when you play trio or duo and because of your stupid teammates you end up losing even easy matches thats the frustrating part in ml.
Idk if it's dark system but lately this early season the matches have either been too easy or too hard in a 5 man team and the pattern is W-L-W-L-W-L in classic in one playtime. It really deters my enjoyment. Otherwise, I don't really play much so my winrate is pretty stable at around 66% and 106 matches in ranked last season. Before that, when I pushed to the last star to Mythical Honor, there was a huge steep in difficulty and I do not want to go through that. I also noticed using the same hero and doing well will increase the chances of dark system. At that point, I just play ML casually and perhaps even troll, it's a lot fun. Try hard just takes too much time and stress and I don't earn money from playing anyway.
havent played solo q since s18. my overall ranked winrate went from 58% to almost 68%. have never averaged under 75% for any season and mostly always above 80% unless my friends decide to troll at the end of season.
Before current season me and my 4 friends was playing classic and my two friends was in grandmaster and me and my one friend epic 3 and one friend is in legend 5 and our 4 opponents was from mythical honor and one legend 3 🙂
Dark system exists in every team-based competitive game in order to help with casual players retention even if it means ruining their competitive mode.
Before season 34 ended, i achieve 10 w.s and reach glory 80 when i showcased my fav. Hero zhask and suddenly switch to chang e during matchmaking.. thats why i believe theres manipulation in the game.. when moontoon wants you to lose, you suddenly lag in the middle of the clash..
I agree with the system recognize how bad you want to win and how bad you don't want to lose. That's why I always stop playing rank whenever I got 2 wins or 2 losses. Then it's either I will play chess or spam brawl.
I was playing a ranked match. Got paired with Epic players and solo q while the enemy team was literally a trio, all of the, were mythical inmortal 300+ stars. I’ve only reached glory so yeah. Pretty unfair, we all got chocolate. It happened today
I noticed that after I rarely play MLBB, just 1 or 2 match a day, I rarely got overly weak team. A few months ago, when I play for hours and hours, I often encounter these dark systems.
That's what I've also been hearing from others too... sussy
I second that, I get fairly good players (both in my team and enemy) when I'm playing few matches. But as soon as I start playing non stop, its never evenly matched.
same here
i have been playing only 3-4 games a day but i am already in legend decent wr
last season i was struggling as hell in epic when i used to play 10+ matches a day
This is not game, this is money machine - u gamble for skins, they keep u with the dark system, why is everything blue? Blue light keeps u awake in the nights.
same here, except when I notice I'm on a lose streak, I play about 5-6 brawl matches before going back to ranked. works out for me.
Someone in the government *needs* to put up laws against manipulating players into becoming addicts.
@@negativeplayer4446
"Don't play games! It's bad for you!"
Guess our parents are right after all.
Nah, its more of an individuals choice. Don't ask the Government to "put up laws" You'll just open up a lot more trouble no matter how well intended the law is, easier said than done. Especially if the Government officials that were elected are as inept as the people who put them in place.
They should also make crime and drugs illegal🙄
I pretty sure it's a joke bro
This type of manipulation feels illegal. They're using psychology and forces you to think to "Never give up!" which is their motto for events like M series. They're using your anger for something like revenge or redemption. And if you actually win, it feels rewarding as if you did something when in reality, they made you win. This also includes AI matches you can get, which I assume if your team has high play time but low wr then they basically give you a free game.
I like it
That's the marketing.. But some brain dead kids don't know this.. Weak humans..
The a.i. match usually kicks in after losing 4-5 consecutive matches, sometimes after only 3 losses but very rarely. I just returned yesterday and now I'm again at 82wr and almost glory, waiting for the system to kick in
The ai matches have been more frequent
This conspiracy are so trippy yet true as it gets...3days prior, i got a whole 4 hours of losing (dont remember how many matches...but a full squad game basically) as we sadly didn't get any win...the day after, we won basically 2 ranked bot matches, a whole "rising" gamemode tournament in ease...and another 2 hours of winning...but yesterday, they gave us a balance lose and winning matches😅😅
Sometimes im the dark system in solo queue ,my teammates is very hard to carry .The enemie team is very experienced
Bro admitted he's the dark system😂😂
@Soumyadeep.Banerjee it's very hard to play solo
@@Soumyadeep.Banerjee i love darksystem
Dark system is horrible because it punishes players who are doing their best to carry their teammates' asses, although I think its important to remember that not every game is winnable because the skill level of every player in a game is different. Its just about having a good mental and doing your best to influence the game, and to not forget to log off and have a break if ur having a bad streak!
Then how do people reach immortal solo q as playing roam? Why dark system doesn't' punish them, they are bad?
Correct and it is painful for me since I had somehow carry by using tank bro. So frustrating
Simple tip I have learn after playing solo, never show your high mmr or good win rate cause after team seeing your capable of carrying them they completely pick non master hero. Like I got 18 kills and my team got all choco
I like that theory 😂
True true
The amount of losing MVP is unfathomable in ML. Instead of giving out thousands of star protection and raising card, they should fix their system
I like this point system
they don't even properly punish those who intentionally throw the match, those feeding to enemies, those with 3.0 with poor kda when the losing Mvp gets like 8.1 or smth.
You should post this somewhere or get it some attention to force Moonton to do this
This just leads to selfish play. Rank is about winning nit performance nothing matters unless you win or lose
this is used on other games too. i really wish they could implement this
The last Match Making system checks put according to my experience.

Thanks! Hope to see you soon bro!
Can definitely relate in everything that you said, i am in no way a professional player but what was said about the skill gap is on point.
I just came from a bad match up and went here
You will see it first in pick phase, no mage no roam boots, 2 mms or 2 cores and all the shenannigans
Also you can include the way the game add bots to your matches to supplement the mmr gap. You can see those bots immediately logout after a single game with no play history
You might also want to do an experiment where in some games, the balance of the game is a bit off
Like an in match silent buff/nerf depending in which side of the dark system you are,
Could include move speed, RNG/DMG calculators.
That two losses back to back is intentional
Probably most people with those high win rates either are really skilled or just play 1-3 matches everyday so they will not get dark system.
@@RubyRubyRubyGamingwill you share us the result then?
It is real yall i am literally struggling to get back to legend after season 😭😭

Yo, we actually thinking of the same thing! I will continue to watch this dark experiment of yours bro! Keep it up!
The best solution to this is a mmr reset not, rank reset
I think the game stores information on really good players . The game contains high amount of data to achieve this.
You play get a star, lose the star next match, get two stars lose two stars
in the lossing ones you're always the loss mvp. the games where it feels like you have to play with zero mistakes and carry your team.
I'm a roam main so this is very difficult. The players the dark system affect the
most are players without a lot of experience but are very good players that know how to win, they have inflated mmr.
Players that have experience or know that hyper early game carry jungler, players in teams, duos can don't have this issue especially in this dmg burst meta
The dark system is also common in big servers where there is a high amount of casual players, the amount is so high that the fact that a player knows to watch a UA-cam video on mlbb places them in the top percent.
Superb analysis! Easily one of my fave mlbb creators since your laning guides
i wish you luck, and best results about researching / experiment for the dark system...
Thanks!
Wah very good! I support you!
Thanks! Make sure to catch the experiment live 🤣
@ I adopted your thou shall not. Just lost 2 games. Stopped playing.
where would you be streaming? YT or twitch?
Dauuu already subscribed 😂😂

Welcome back😊
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Waiting for the live stream ..am hyped !!
Tomorrow!
@RubyRubyRubyGaming ok dude 👍

You are on to something I always get win streak when i have exams because I can't play more than 4 matches per day while in vacations it is always lose streak
Now im Excited to See your Dark Experiment.

I like how you ended the video with a Defeat. I will follow with your Dark Experiment.
wait I've actually had a very similar theory for a while now, and the funny thing is my experience seems to support it.
We will watch your experiments with great interest, Ruby(x3)
How many matches did it take you to get to Immortal and what was your Win Percentage?

7:53 THIS IS TRUE!!
I have over 15000 games in mlbb over many years of on and off play and what I have learned is
+Only Play main heroes in rank
+Learn many roles even if u specialize in one or two
+Go into classic and play heroes you have never played before it's fun and you learn how they work
+Avoid playing solo the less randoms the more control you have over the game go duo or trio and go 5q only when your buddies are good enough cuz 5q tend to be hard games
Plus the advices from this video stop after losing 2 games
Happy ranking 😊
Getting to the full stars before the next tier, the next match is sure to lose then alternate win-lose until you use your double stars.
Well presented. Subscribed.
@@MrGringo555 you need to try to play at South East Asia Server (SEA) for more experience about interacting with dark system
gambler mentality and addiction contributes in making the players play more and more further into the rabbit hole
Funnily, i gave the same/similar advice to friends who struggle with rank
Id tell them to stop after 2 losses, and play the next day
Sometimes even in early game, my opponents damage is really big, one hit almost half hp gone!, I always realize that sometimes...at first encounter I already can tell we're gonna win or lose 😂
In a bad day, im the dark system my teammates should worry about
Because of this Dark System, i refused to play MLBB for 3 months. They ain't getting my money if I'm not gonna win 24/7
I am constantly either crushing my opponents or getting crushed cuz my teamates are stupid and feed. I RARELY get a mildly interesting match that is even.
this could be true cuz i noticed a strange pattern last season, basically, i have two friends that i rank up with, one of them plays nonstop even when hes on a lose streak, and the other one stops playing when we lose and says we try tomorrow
when i play with first friend i lose all the time, the problem is hes not bad or anything, in fact we dominate most of the time but we usually lose at the end cuz of how terrible the teammates are ( 0-15 miya💀) but when i play with my other friend we always win streak, even tho hes not as good as my other friend, so i think the system knows that my other friends doesnt mind losin so hes always queued with terrible players, while me and my other friends always stop after one loss, if this isnt enough proof then, in season 33 i played solo only, and my strategy was to play 3 rank matches everyday, then go classic or brawl until tomorrow, and it actually worked, so u guys need to show the system that u hate losing in ranked, so u dont get queued with losers.
Exactly what happen in my case
Been trying to explain this to people for soo long. I finally couldnt take it anymore about 3 months ago and quit BUT I like the game so that sucks. Literally quit the game because of matchmaking and no other reason
It's funny that I actually do that. I have a rule that I will stop playing if I lose a total of 3 matches. It kinda works, I almost never lose and increased my wr to 60% which is amazing, and my teammates are good.
If dark system exist, light system also exist😂
Light system is the Point system which will never be implemented because Moneyton likes toxic envrionment.
I quit the game because of it. Its so boring just to keep loosing because moonton is against you
Sadge to hear that
Who is this Moonton? All I know is Moneyton
How do people go on 20 games winning streaks like the pros?
Going Trio or full squadding up is a good way to reduce the variance of bad teammates
like all the top global players...wintrading.
@@rawrharry8772 hightest i went was 20 wins, followed by 30 straight loses back to back to back. Moontoon wanted their wins back
heres a tip for yall, play on severs which are less crowded for instance severs like france have really good players in legend rank right now. im currently playing in legend 3 as a support main and trust me when i say, the team coordination and macro skills are so much better than my own sever which is indo. and the game quality is so good and competitive from both sides i wouldn't even mind loosing 10 games in a row
Been a while, but i still enjoyed the video XD
🔥
Good luck!
As a solo player, i love hard matches, but I use to get a player who cant do anything😂
Honestly, using this strategy only allows dark system to work in your favor opposed to having satisfying competitive matches with equal skill level.
I'm a solo player and so are my team mates, but on the opponent's team, two couples are in a duo, which is very unfair.
The amount of mvp loss I have trying to carry a team of what feels like a low tier team that don't even know basic counter builds to item combination
Yup, i just met one jhnson player who wouldn't listen to be a proper tanm
Before current season me and my 4 friends was playing classic and my two friends was in grandmaster and me and my one friend epic 3 and one friend is in legend 5 and our 4 opponents was from mythical honor and one legend 3 🙂
Dark system exists in every team-based competitive game in order to help with casual players retention even if it means ruining their competitive mode.
Not gonna lie after rubys road to solo immortal stream ruby is the best person to explain 😅😂
😂😂😂
Everytime i play mlbb after season change i get enemies that are either mythical honour or glory and my teammates are just legend and epic
Last match in epic
Teammates:3below honour mythic and legend 4
Enemies:3 glory and 2 honour
