Dans la pléiade des disciples du maître Django, Angelo Debarre occupe, à mon avis, une place particulière. Techniquement, il égale les meilleurs de la discipline, pour ne pas dire qu'il joue souvent mieux que les têtes d'affiche comme Stochelo Rosenberg, voire Bireli Lagrene qui, il est vrai s'est détaché du culte de Django et Django seul depuis des lustres. Mais sa sensibilité, son incroyable inventivité harmonique font qu'il réinvente un Anouman que Django n'avait en fait qu'ébauché. Chapeau bas maestro Debarre !

Angelo plays some haunting and creative melodic lines. Long, meaningful phrasing. Paulus Schafer is another player with a similar approach to soloing. Very expressive and measured.
Beautiful solo. The people chatting loudly behind more than annoy me, it makes me feel a bit of shame. Anyway its a real concert in a bar, not everyone into music
