Rick- I know that running a store can be hard work, but always remember that you are living the dream, owning a retro game and toy store! I pray God blesses you!
I remember when Toys R Us was blowing out the Pokemon N64s for $30.00 apiece. I stocked up, held onto them for a couple of years, and made some serious money by flipping them. As for keeping the Pikachu N64s, depends on if you have bills to pay.
I don't know what it is about your videos. It's like just hanging out in a game store (which I really like) with a back stage pass. I love it. Just found you yesterday. Keep the vids coming man.
just recently got into your videos, man. def scratches the itch of game hunting because I currently can't due to being poor. lol. you're the man! congrats on everything
I love your UA-cam videos love what you do I enjoy them so much and when I heard you were going to have Pokemon card for sale just made it a million times better hope everything goes good for you in your store have a blessed day
Another great video! Cool, new finds! Good job staying firm and a good sport on the first trade-in offer. I'd keep the Japanese Pokémon N64 for my collection and sell the other one.
Retro Rick always coming up. A lot of 🔥🔥🔥 pickups. I love these episodes because I see stuff that I haven’t seen in quite some time or ever. Those Mario bros glasses are so crisp and clean.
Great video as always. Living and growing up in the UK, I can confirm the blue Pikachu N64 was released over here back in the day. I'm assuming that would of been the same for the whole of Europe considering the UK would of (and probably still does) come under the Nintendo Europe umbrella.
There’s another pikachu n64 as well. Japan released an orange and a lighter blue one. So technically there’s 3 to have if you’re collecting the pikachu version.
MAN I love Jeff he's a character lol, reminds me of TONS of old southern salesmen in Arkansas, just this whole episode gave me a good feeling. Great job Rick!
I’d make a Pokémon display with those 64’s in one of those window displays. Add some stadium action and it would look great! I am bias to Pokémon though.
There's an ORANGE ONE???? I grew up having the blue Pikachu N64, and played an insane number of hours of games on it, but I never knew an orange one existed!
I LOVE the Pokémon N64 consoles. Sadly, they’re becoming really common here in the UK. I think everyone realized they were valuable a few years ago and sold up.
Hey Rick, congrets on the great store you have! Love your Illusion of Gaia shirt too! Question: Why was the name of this game in europe: Illusion of Time?
So, odd question. When you decide to keep something do you pay the business from personal money to balance the books? From a tax perspective alone this could get a little wonky.
U pay out of pocket. Atleast if ur smart u do. Even in a store credit trade. Take the item and just pay out of Pocket but he also gets the item for what he paid for it instead of the store high mark up price lol. So that's a plus for him.
came across a copy of Pokémon Gale Of Darkness in my garage and looked it up. Says it’s goin anywhere from $230 to $260. It’s in the original case with manual. I’m just not sure how to go about selling it
RR! If money is not an issue, don't sell the consoles. Knowing that there is copy of those consoles , in the hands of someone that is gonna care for them is so comforting. So yeah, keep them the way you see fit in your own collection.
If I was you Rick, I would consider if you like pokemon a lot and whether those consoles are super nostalgic to you or are you just taken back by their cuteness and value? I would say, if you don't have a personal interest in it, save room in your personal collection for stuff you really feel strongly about to the point you wouldn't even ask the question. I had to make the same exact choice with those consoles and I decided not to keep them and let someone who could really enjoy them take them from me. But that's just me. I'm an N64 guy too by the way. My favorite console of all time.
Huge fan right here. I'm just curious, I feel like you're spending a ginourmous amount of money on trade-ins and expanding your stock, but how can this possibly balance out with sales? Aren't you losing a ton of money? Wish you all the best!
hey! The store is doing great...i just dont film customers buy things like switches and $20 games bc its not interesting...sales far out weigh trade ins
Great meeting you Rick! Your store is awesome & i’ll always be able to say that’s where I started my collection! See ya next time🤝🗣
If you have a Five Below in your area, they sell small boxes on Senzu Beans and DBZ energy drinks

Already subbed! I actually came across your video first before ricks 😂 can’t wait to see the DBZ collection grow
Back in the day I used to run a game store and your videos really takes me back. You have a great store and content!
Rick- I know that running a store can be hard work, but always remember that you are living the dream, owning a retro game and toy store! I pray God blesses you!
Sounds like a nightmare lol

Can't wait to see you help Grant with his DBZ collection. He's got a terrific attitude. Great vibes.
damn those mario glasses for $225 felt a bit steep!
Its cause it is lol
They were WAY over priced.
@@PowerSynopsis Ya I don't know what those would be worth for real,,, But I do know that those cups were not worth close to that TO ME.
They're like $25 on ebay.
I don't know what it is about your videos. It's like just hanging out in a game store (which I really like) with a back stage pass. I love it. Just found you yesterday. Keep the vids coming man.

Another great video! Cool, new finds! Good job staying firm and a good sport on the first trade-in offer.
I'd keep the Japanese Pokémon N64 for my collection and sell the other one.
i would personally make a display case for them and show them off in the store
Retro Rick always coming up. A lot of 🔥🔥🔥 pickups. I love these episodes because I see stuff that I haven’t seen in quite some time or ever. Those Mario bros glasses are so crisp and clean.
Great video ,nice store . But those mario 2 glasses are 30$ on ebay
Is that the same store owner from the gamechasers episodes? If so, that guy is a beast! If not, it looks an resembles him pretty well, 😆

Hit me up, I've got a surprise for you
Love the tee, Illusion of Time (as it's known here in Europe) is my all time favourite SNES game
Great video as always. Living and growing up in the UK, I can confirm the blue Pikachu N64 was released over here back in the day. I'm assuming that would of been the same for the whole of Europe considering the UK would of (and probably still does) come under the Nintendo Europe umbrella.
Keep the N64s for the collection!!! They were clean and the one had two controllers. Insane! Awesome video..
There’s another pikachu n64 as well. Japan released an orange and a lighter blue one. So technically there’s 3 to have if you’re collecting the pikachu version.

I'd have to keep them together, plus being a completionist lol I'd have to track down oem controllers for the blue one . 😏
I'm sure someone has already said it here but there is 3 different pikachu n64 consoles, there was a JP blue that was a lighter shade.
⤴️⤴️⤴️⤴️
Hit me up, I've got a surprise for you
Those Mario 2 glasses are siiiiiiiiiick 🤩
Also, you gotta keep the Pokémon 64’s. Just need the matching controllers for the NA one
I like this .gives me the store round two vibes but video games

I always wanted that Pikachu N64, since I saw it at mall years ago. I would keep'em
Ugh those Super Mario 2 glasses are so nice !!!!!!!
Having a fever and diarrhea sucks.
Another banger of a video love when I get notifications for this channel
That is one adorable Pikachu N64!

code breaker for the DC was awesome for PSO... i got one of them lol
I would keep that orange Pikachu N64 never seen that before even on other retro channels. I always thought they were all blue 😧
The Mario glasses with the original lead paint?? I want thoseeee
Keep the N64 set!!!!! Thats awesome!!! Great video as always brotha!!
There's an ORANGE ONE???? I grew up having the blue Pikachu N64, and played an insane number of hours of games on it, but I never knew an orange one existed!
Id eat that ninja turtle gum. probably perfectly fine lol
Definitely keep the Pikachu n64! Put a whole Pokémon N64 display in one of the glass display cases in the store. 🙌🏼
Nice! Love the N64 consoles. I would sell them because I already own them :) You should try and get the other Pokémon/Pikachu variants too!
Great video, and I would keep them haha
What city is your guys's game store that seems like a pretty cool place to get a Pikachu 64 that's a nice thing to have
Japan had two Pokémon n64 there was a baby blue one so if you’re going to keep them for the collection you need to get that one as well
I'm working my way through your vids from the beginning, so I'm way behind from when this was dropped. BUT I hope you kept the N64s!!
Do ya have an online store?? I would love to buy from your store but don't live in your state?
1:52 used to play that with my baby sitter growing up
I LOVE the Pokémon N64 consoles. Sadly, they’re becoming really common here in the UK. I think everyone realized they were valuable a few years ago and sold up.
Is there a link to the store
Is Jeff the owner of the game room trading post? If not, he is extremely alike.
Hey Rick, congrets on the great store you have! Love your Illusion of Gaia shirt too! Question: Why was the name of this game in europe: Illusion of Time?
I'll keep then for my collection
I have eaten the gum in old packs, you won't get sick, but it is weird when it is old.... you should try if you never have before
Awesome stuff
Are you trying to sell that life size Link statue? Great video.
Quick suggestion: could you put the address to your store in the description of your videos? Please and thank you.
Is this the same guy that owned the store that the game chasers always went into???
Keep up the good work man
I could never own a game store. I would live in it and play with the merchandise all the time.
The first console you started buying games for yourself.

do you have a web site for your store to purchase online?
I feel like you got had by that first guy
with the Mario glasses
I would hold on to the Pikachu N64's until you get some more in stock then sell any extra ones.
Is Jeff the geezer from game chasers?
Keep them in your collection!
