This is based on the skins that will remain the rarest, as they'll never come back. Perhaps not rarest right now, but they will be, and can never be earned again. All rare exclusives/collection event skins can come back and most likely will
It was fun reading all your comments! Here are some thoughts so you can see my replies:
- Omega Point Pathfinder: Twitch viewership for Apex was at an all time high, so I'd say it's not that rare
- Octane: The Season 2 battle pass skin for Octane is probably the rarest, forgot about that one, sorry my bad!
- hemok: Also, the founder's hemlok pack is probably the rarest too
- all recolors: These are subject to come back any time, so it's safe to say they'll never remain "rare" - the rarest right now will be the most valued, so once they drop again they rarity will drop
- all collection event skins: they can come back, only collection event challenge skins cannot come back
- remember this is RAREST skins so it's about their actual rarity and not how awesome they look
The g7 has a recolor called blue dragon but it does not have the recolor symbol on it so my guess it will not come back ( it was the first skin to ever be in the shop)
I’m a 25,000 kill Bangalore main and I rock the Dino Bang skin which no one else rocks (twitch prime skin) I’m hurt you didn’t even mention it
I would say tgm underestimated the amount of people with the battle pass from any season. I would say any recolor would be rarer because you must not only have the pre existing legendary but spend the little red coins that most new players will save for legends. It has been rather easy to complete the bp in the past. I have most of the skins you mentioned except the collection event skins because not many people will bust 20 bucks on one skin. I don’t mean to be toxic or anything but i disagree with most of this list

That devotion was my favorite skin but the challenge for it was pretty easy

This should be renamed to "the most exclusive skins" since most of these are VERY common
Some weapons overall just don't have many rare skins, but arguably these are literally the rarest skins in the game, even if they don't look the best
@@Thegamingmerchant i meant that battle pass skins and event exclusives are free skins and everyone that play the game right now has them maybe in 5 years they will be insanely rare but currently, they are everywhere, compared to the iron crown event which had some expensive skins, i barely see them these days

Now that it's been some time, I feel like the practically unnoticed blue+ gun skins that have recently come out have to been pretty rare. Additionally, the Bloodhound and Octane skins that came out around the end of season 8 have some merit to them as the reaction to the price was widely negative due to the price, and those skins aren't coming back.

Speaking of rare: My brother who plays Fortnite has two heirlooms and he doesn’t even play Apex anymore and I’m a level 500 who plays the game on a daily basis doesn’t even have one. Honestly I’m more mad about the fact that my brother plays Fortnite and doesn’t even use his heirlooms

Ye I'm really not surprised. These things would be at least 1/2000 if it wasn't for the fact you have 100% chance to get one at 500 without counting the events.

True bruh mostly everyone completes the pass
Its not that. Its that people buy the BP and many never complete or they simply hop off the game after the season or just flat out stop playing many seasons. Combined with the fact that BP skins will never ever come back, make them much rarer than event skins. Lets take S1 for example. Yes the game was super popular, but the bp rewards sucked mostly and most ppl didnt bother completing the BP to 110 for a havoc weapon that basically sucked so bad back then AND the BP in S1 was a HUGE grind. The Golden Idol skin became instantly rare about when S2 ended because of how tedious it was to get 110 in S1 and many ppl who did/didnt get it, hopped off apex for the most part going forward making the Idol increasingly rare.
Like what about the season 1 havoc 100 and 110 tier skins or the r-301 teir 100 and 110 skins
@@TheMoistDonuts yeah I wasn’t disagreeing about the idol being rare but I didn’t play that much and I have it. It wasn’t that difficult. Also merchant put some level 1 battlepass rewards and I don’t think those are rare at all
Yeah like i played during season 1 and never got the battlepass and didn't play apex until in the middle of season 4, and only brought the season 5,6 passes
There is a twitch prime pathfinder skin that you didn’t mention. It came out like within the first month or so of apex.

Yeah it’s black and purple, it also came with 5 apex packs. It was the first twitch prime bundle they ever did. I have it and I don’t think I’ve seen nearly anyone else with it

Its because since they are not legendary they are barely ever used so nobody ever takes notice of them. Although i’d consider legendary skins from within paid battlepasses are rarer than epics or rares.

For the Loba skin the "Game Master" skin was the twitch prime skin.
I could of gotten it but i thought it wasnt that good looking at first and i also wasnt sure if i was going to make loba one of my secondary characters.....mannnn was i wrong.
The rarest pathfinder skin is the Omega Point it was a Twitch Prime Exclusive during season 3 if Im not mistaken
Actually that skin came out in season 0 or 1, but still I consider it the rarest since it will never come back
You forgot the Omega Point skin for Pathfinder (Purple Twitch Prime skin)
He also forgot the founder's pack from the launch of the game. It had 3 skins, (Wraith, Gibraltar, and Bloodhound) Banners, and a Hemlock skin.
I have that skin, but for ps4 because i cant unlink my ea account from ps4/xbox and i dont own a ps :(

The rarest 301 skin is the Legendary Hunt Skin as it is tied to the battle pass so it is never coming back and not many people played or even bought the season 1 battlepass for how bad it was

the legendary hunt skins came back a while ago, just with a recolor. if im not mistaken the wraith night terror and the 301 came back.

I use mostly just Legendary/Epic and some good BP skins on my weapons but on the Volt I prefer the Arctic skin over the white Legendary to be honest. I find the shape of the Legendary a bit weird and the Arctic doesn't cost much anyway.

i own the Clocktane skin which is the rarest legendary skin for Octane (and the best looking one by far), i wear the skin with pride and im so happy i purchased it.
I remember just getting the magma skin randomly after a match and learning about 5 months later that it was an event skin

the green superstar pk was a beautiful one, never seen it in a hella long time and almost no one seems to use it. Could make a return but still yet to see it for 7 seasons probably, if not then since during s1. Didnt know the re45 green one was apart of the iron crown though, still very nice also. Wish I got them both

14:05 You forgot about Omega Point (the first twitch skin) that released in season 1 or 0, back in April 2019. In my opinion (even tho the player population was really high at the time) that skin is the rarest or one of the rarest pathfinder skins imo.

I believe I played season 3 the most because it was one of my favorite seasons.
I remember getting the nocturnal elegance skin the last day because I couldn’t play well back then and I had a horrid time trying to get the win as a shadow
I played preseason and season 1 so its kinda cool to see some of these rare skins that I actually have.

I think you need to take into account that most people have the battle pass, but very few are dropping hundreds of dollars on every collection event. Even if the skins come back the vast majority of players aren’t going to buy them.
(unless it’s a wraith skin. Thoughs sweats would drop their life savings for the latest “cool” skin)

Skins that I think should have been the rarest for their respective guns:
Flatline - Greenback/In The Game - Epic skin that you get for being an Origin Access/EA Access member and logging in before June 30, 2019. Haven't even seen it anywhere else.
R-301 - Golden Rampage - Level 110 Season 2 BP skin.
Hemlok - Caged Rage - Rare skin that only PS+ members can get in August 2019. If not that then The Notorious One, a Legendary skin that you could only get when you purchase the Founder's Pack.
HAVOC - Daisy Chain - Another Rare PS+ skin from February 2020.
Spitfire - Ice Clouds - Another Rare PS+ skin from November 2019.
L-STAR - Stellar Stallion - A Twitch Prime drop from July 2019.
Mastiff - Tomb Stick - From the Lost Treasures event.
PK - Caged Rage - Another Rare PS+ skin from August 2019.
P2020 - Daisy Chain - Another Rare PS+ skin from February 2020.
That mastiff skin is fairly common, although the mastiff doesnt have very many rare skins
I wouldn't count the crappy Playstation exclusive ones.

That bloodhound skin is super common I always see it equipped on every bloodhound in my games

As someone who's played Overwatch and Apex for years I got to say Apex leaves alot to be desired in terms of cosmetics... I'm a level 500 in Overwatch and I have every legendary event skin put out that I've wanted and every legenadry skin that came with the game that I've wanted. In comparison I'm a level 300 in Apex and I have pulled 3 Legendary skins for guns, 2 of which I don't use and a single legendary skin for a character I don't play and have been able to purchase TWO in my 300 levels with in game currency I'm sorry I don't want to pay money for nice cosmetics but imo anyone who likes having limited cosmetic skins are greedy and idiotic

Funny how air ship assasin is one skin i brought for legend tokens (and the only one) and that i just wanted it because it had a nice dark brown / black and gold look
came here bc i stopped playing after season 3 and came back to late season 9 thinking all my rare stuff that i worked so hard for was worthless now but i see now that literally every skin i have that was rare has now become "the most rare in the game"
the devotion skin was the reason i came here bc i was deciding whether to switch it out for the season 9 devotion skin but apparently its rarest skin in the entire game even though ive seen it thousands of times

@@thisweirdguy the key word is yet. Eventually it will come back, just like Octanes Red and gold skin, or Wraiths Assassin skin. They are rare only because they haven’t reappeared yet, but the moment they do, they are not rare anymore, meaning they are/were not ever meant to be actually rare. The only actual rare skins are the BP skins and skins from event challenges because they have been stated by respawn to never ever come back. So the moment the season changes, bp skins become rare. Most ppl dont see how rare they are though because they obtained them by just leveling the BP and think nothing of it, and that everyone who did the BP has it (meaning its not that rare at the season the bp drops) the moment the season changes 1 or 2 seasons forward. Its rare because ppl cant get it again and because ppl who played back in a past season drop off the map and new players join the fray every season.

I think the rarest pathfinder skin might be the Omega Point. It was a twitch prime skin in the very beginning of the game. I have it and I don’t know many others that do.
