I had my children in the 80's. They never spent one day in a school. I homeschooled when it was an oddity. Now all three are adults, and thier children are being home educated, even in some hard circumstances. We wouldn't want it any other way.
Fantastic. What a wonderful success story. It just shows you that children prefer to be at home where they have the freedom to actually play and learn. Instead of being jailed in some concrete prison where they have to get permission to go to the toilet. And knowing two females that were raped in the school toilets, school is a very dangerous place indeed.
👍👍👍💪❤️❤️❤️. In the Netherlands only 2000 children are getting home school rite now. A friend of my has two children who she gives home school. The are wonderful children who have a lot of joy in life.
I remember bunking off and thinking "I wish I didn't have to ever go back to school again!" The hours spent away from school when I should have been there were wonderful! I actually went on to study at Technical Collage on day release, and now earn a nice living. But I hated school with a passion!
Because we get locked up if we dont Richard . And when they are young we cant leave them alone or afford day care while we have this need to go to work .
No no, you don't. Home schooling (including unschooling, which means no curriculum at all) is perfectly legal in Britain. My three kids were unschooled and although the state really hated it, the homeschooling movement was becoming bigger every year.
It is not a law that children have to attend school. don't register them in the system, home school is the way to go.Wild school, many other groups allow parents to work.
I remember school days as being much like a regime 5 days a week open prison sentence . The quality of the teachers was ranged from good to outright disgraceful. I had one teacher who would set your work on the blackboard then go for a cigarette in the cupboard a couple of times during the “ lesson “ , another teacher who was an alcoholic, another three who had serous anger management issues of which they would not have gotten away with these days. Two of the violent teachers actually gave students black eyes one of which was a girl from physical violence. I also remember a games teacher who pushed a child’s head into coat hooks and cut the back of his head. His farther came into the school and tried to teach him a lesson but other teachers held him off . My school days were more like a sociological experiment of drop outs and violence offenders. There were a small minority of teachers I respected and the rest were utterly useless. I didn’t get away from violence as I was thrown out of a French lesson because I told the teacher I couldn’t spell a french word as I struggled with bloody English. The head of languages walked up the corridor and asked why I was outside and when I told him he slammed my head into a brick wall. I showed my mother when I got home and told her the whole story. She went to the school and made a complaint but nothing happened to the teacher, He just apologised. My education began at college and in the apprenticeship that gave me a lifetime skill and job . School is overrated in my opinion and is limited to the skills of its teachers. I believe we hold far too much credibility on exams rather than a person’s natural abilities to do whatever they are inclined to do .
We do it because for a long time it was the norm. Also we're too busy working to home ed our children. I wanted to home ed my youngest boy, I had a friend who was home ed'ing her boy at the time, but i still couldn't give the time to help share the teaching role. Even though i'm self employed, i couldn't afford to get off the treadmill for a day. Fortunately i've always been "awake" and taught my children to think for themselves. It seems to have worked somewhat. My oldest and youngest sons are "awake" and love going down the "rabbit holes". I'm so glad for their company in these times.
Well done to you. There are two paths for home ed, one is the do as we say rules and paperwork or the other is to do it via projects that you set. The latter may a bit more of a fight to be able go do but it is much easier for both kids and parents and most kids can get on witb it unsupervised.
Yes the system is created to keep people on the treadmill, not allowing the necessary time to "live" their lives in the most fruitful way. It is all about control from the moment we are born. Now that we are aware, it is time for a significant change.
Well said Richard. ❤i took my daughter out of school two years ago and it's the best thing I did!! I had a call from the council wanting me to send details of my plan to educate but I told them I was the only authority in her life and it was none of their business! Since then my daughter has flourished. She has taught herself Spanish and after getting a sewing machine for her birthday a few months ago is now making her own clothes and gifts! She is only 13 and never fails to wow me! She said school was like a prison. I watch David Adelman and have read his book,'school no place for children' and he is correct-children can self teach-its all in our DNA. It has taken years for me to unlearn everything I was taught in my childhood and I don't understand how anyone in the 'truth movement" can still send their kids to school.
I learned more from my uncle (rip) about the world, than from school. Yes, he was also Pink Floyd listener. And he let me hear that song "The Wall". He understood me and was on my side 🙏
I taught my children how to survive without money and how to build a shelter how to build a fire and how to hunt and gather there food and how to prepare it for consumption .
You are captive ,the things you learn , the way you dress , and 16 years of that life is decided in half a hour of a exam , what you may become . I was lucky i was a bright kid , i questioned all this , i would be classed as a under achiever because i did not get the right grades. Life is not about this , its about how you develop as a person , kids need outdoor pursuits learning about their wider enviroment , you dont punish kids for what they might not learn , yes basic maths and English . Let kids earn a bit of money , if they so wish , im not talking 8 hours a day , pin money jobs , take the state out of control , let parents decide how their kids develop ,after all ,they are your children .
I home-schooled my son until 16, he wanted to go to school so he is at school and seems doing alright, he knows abut the system and how is so important to question everything.
Homeschooling only deals with the corrupt social system they have in schools. You still had to teach him what They wanted him to know. You did their brainwashing for him. Homeschooling can really put a kid behind the eight ball when the social aspect is removed from his life at a young age. Even being bullied helps a kid learn how to deal with bullies in this world, of which our government is over run with now.
I love your way of analytical thinking Richard, today’s world has changes substantially from when I went to School back in the 50/60’s where practical skills were taught, I despair what is going on in State Schools and perhaps elsewhere too…most unsatisfactory, to say the least.
Thank you Richard. Well said. Here's a quote from the book "WEAPONS OF MASS INSTRUCTION", by J.T.GATTO: "We don't need "state-certified" teachers to make education happen. "Certification" probably guarantees it won't."
Why do children start earlier & earlier? Is this due to family break up? I recall a comment by a teacher long ago, taking my daughter on holiday in school term, saying she'd learn so much more with us parents, playing by the sea. What a wonderful thought, truly magical
I hated every second of my school life. School in the 70's was torture, canings, slipperings, verbal abuse, detentions and to cap it all i have never used any of the nonsense i was taught in any of my many jobs.
Cuz most of us are too hypnotized by our own spiritual ignorance, under the influence of egoistic academia with the power to Influence our feelings, thoughts and actions because we’re too busy hunting for STUFF that others tell us is SOooo important and represents how powerful we are and we don’t even know what we don’t know…Like, WHO ARE YOU, creator, YOU. Thank you👏🎶🌸
When I was six or seven years old, the teacher explained something boring, I didn't pay much attention. Later on I was looking at the work from someone next to me. And that horrible witch was sneaking towards me from behind, she suddenly lifted my chair and shaked the shit out of me until I felt dizzy. Those things I never told at home. I don't know why, probably guilt. But it sure was a punishment, being at school.
Brilliant question. I must say that I didn’t learn anything useful to get me through life at school other than how to read and learn a bit of mathematics that’s it.
Exactly this! Basic English, reading and writing, basic biology, how to use a sewing machine and the pythagorean theorem, to make stone corners of 90 degrees. That's all of use for 6 to 8 years sitting still and listening to boring stuff, while waiting for playtime. It could have been done in 1 year!
I agree with your questioning of the education system Richard. Indoctrination system more than fostering critical thinking. I am as fascinated with the room you're in, as much as your words. It looks like a lovely cozy hobbit home you live in. Just wonderful!❤
Respect to you Richard 💯 i tell many people about wots going on but nobody believes me thay think I'm mad so wot i say now is its no good knocking if nobody in take care Richard Trevor from kent
Because we were all conditioned into believing we had to, even though many of us know how it affected us that hated it, was bored, then classed as naughty, disruptive. They don't teach interesting stuff, at least when I was a kids we learned to make more things with different materials baking, art, sewing, Woodward metal work. We also had grandparents that had the time to spend and teach us life skills, when they made it so that both parents had to work
I couldn't agree more Richard. And I am wondering why I can never see how many likes your vids are getting. Most likely because 'the powers that be' don't want us to know how many agree with you. Keep up the good work and don't let them grind you down 😉
Excellent topic Richard, extremelly important. It has been a while when I begun to realise that the main purpose of school system is to instill in our children what our govermnents value the most - reflexive obedience to people, who are in position of authority. That is why our kids are not allowed to learn what they're interested in when they're ready for it and are forced to follow orders of strangers. The message is "You're not in the driving seat of your life. We are!"
When I was at school I detested most of my teachers and regarded the whole thing as, at best, a complete waste of time. I am now 64, and with the benefit of decades of experience of the adult world I realise that I was quite right.
68 and never went to school, i just by passed the system by lying that i attended, learned myself accounts and owned 3 supermarkets, spent 20 years in spain and retired early with no debts no worries and blissfully happy life and knowing i can hold a good conversation with anyone about life and the advantage of self learning the things you need at the time you need it
Yay you are one of the few things left to be proud of England for thank you so much your videos have been a life saver and just wanted to share my appreciation , Bliss wishes to you and yours Richard.
Bravo. 🥳👏👏 Home Educating was the best thing I ever did. State Education failed to teach our daughter to read, write and spell. There are 9 Million Illiterate Adults in the UK because of State Education! Watch this space because I believe you will be seeing some books and films created by our daughter because of Home Education. The only thing that stands in her way is this bullying Elite Academic Brick Wall. Just like my rip off Elite Bank that destroyed my credit and got me in debt on purpose. Our daughter is now in University. However, I hate the debt that brings. But it's not what you know, it's who you know. A very unfair Elite Academic System. Please ban Elite Academics from the Arts. I hope one day she gets to write and illustrate children's books that are actually fit for children, without all the brainwashing that destroys and takes away their innocent childhood. Keep going Richard. When I win against my Bank for destroying my amazing credit history, I will donate to your channel. 😁👍
The problem is, we give them a Birth Cert, after they belong to the State, they are now on the sea, they have their Citizen Ship, their ship has Birthed.
I don't think a lot of people even like looking after their own children, let alone teaching them. A friend of my daughter is having her 3rd baby in 4 years & already has 3 different childminders for them. She works from home too. Also, a lot of young girls had a baby (or 2) in order to jump the housing queue. Sad but true.
I grew up in a low-income housing project in Canada in the 1960's. I went to a junior school (K-grade 6) that was strictly for our project and some of the teachers there let us kids know that we were the dregs of society. I hated school.
Parents not having enough education to teach: I went to visit someone in Great Britain, whilst watching the quiz shows I noticed that people up to 50 could hardly answer the very simple questions. They could answer questions on celebrities, but the rest was embarrassing.
Great video as always richard..I'm convinced that those of us who struggled to listen/pay attention at school were instinctively tuning out of the programming 🙄👍
It would be so lovely to have community facilities for homeschooling families…. For art science sport etc…. I had to give up my job to homeschool my 3 boys but then had to work from home and look for more work blah blah to earn enough money for living…. So then there is very little time for my children…. So yes it would be great to have learning hubs…. With elderly there too… not shut out … Problem is everything is taught incorrectly… even music…. No mention of the effects of frequency!!! And everyone is divided up according to age… so strange!!!! I guess homeschooling could be a wonderful experience if there are two parents at home and they don’t need to work…. And grandparents….And they had money behind them… and a nice big house with space for laboratories… art/ carpentry workshops, film / music studio, animals, land for growing food…. Larders for storing food… nice big kitchen…. Ahhhh….. if only!!!! Lol 😂 Problem is people don’t step up and support people trying to do things differently…. Just are judgmental and look down their noses instead of rolling up their sleeves or putting their hands in their pockets and helping. Passion projects… how I wish I had resources for that!!!. Hmm… as shopping centres become redundant maybe they could be community learning, healing and well being and exchange hubs…. With lots of practical skills taught…. Hmmm I know my boys’ experience isn’t the best but at least they don’t have all the daily trauma of school and brainwashing. They tried it and it didn’t fit…. So it’s a mutual choice. Thanks for bringing this topic to attention. It’s nice to be able to respond and communicate my issues as a single mama trying to do home based learning. And put my dreams out in the ether!!!! 😂 xxx
Here's a good topic for a future monologue, Mr. Vobes. "What have I done/am doing to contribute to the current 'system' of control." Now give it some serious thought.
I'm glad I went through the school system before the National Curriculum took hold. I had some very enlightened teachers who taught us how to think, not to just accept things and to question everything. They wouldn't be allowed today.
15 years ago .. schools were changing to Academy's/Trusts (government shareholders) and all mature teachers of 50+ were pushed out and their pensions halved. I explained 15 years ago this is all about government control - and was laughed at. Class sizes are now unpleasant/unmanageable for staff (and students). Christianity was taken off the curriculum. Only young (cheaper) staff employed with NO mature expertise left to benefit from. Younger staff more accepting of the unmanageable class sizes, as a result there is high turnover - less consistency for children. The whole aim: to dumb down the population, make more money for the government shareholders and only very wealthy able to pay for Private Education. What the government did not foresee is, 1500-2000 children in a school is not setting them up for the future workplace (except large factory working). As a consequence most children (neurodiverse particularly) cannot cope with the mass of children around them so they refuse to go to school (can't blame them - when it's like a cattle market) .. so the Government now want to gain control of what these children are learning at home. Having worked with homeschooled children, they are more well adjusted, dedicated and extremely polite. AND happy children. Our education system is a shambles and is both unpleasant and stressful for both teachers and children.
A bit Rich from a man whose care of a child for an hour ended in A and E. The same people who campaign for home schooling then moan about surgeons and Engineers being shipped in from the third world. That monster who recently got Life for battering his 10 year old daughter to death. He was a fan of home schooling. Nobody to see the bruises.
I am an old git now, I went through the government "education" bullshit but at home my dad taught me to distrust anyone in authority and how to recognize an arsehole it worked
Engaging in what your childen think, every day. Ask them, listen, try something they thought of to see results. Every street could have a teacher no doubt that would be great!
In order to prepare future adults to be receptive to modern propaganda. Jacques Ellul in his 1962 book _Propaganda: The formation of Men's Attitudes_ calls education 'pre-propaganda'. Sending our children to school is something _we_ do because, as he points out, propaganda is an integral part of a technological society and there is a part of us that actually craves it.
It used to be OK, but it was bad when my two went to school. My son was held back and he got bored. He wanted to know what words were when he was 2.5 but I held off until he was 3 because he kept wanting to know. He was reading good books when he went to school but had to go through the Janet and John baby books. Daughter could read, but rebelled by only looking at picture books. They said she had a good vocabulary, she must read a lot. Nope! Both good at maths - they didn't get it from me! Both are arty - that is me! When I think of it, I was also reading nice books like Alice in Wonderland before I went to school and I had to go through Tom and Carol books. My son didn't tolerate bad teachers (oh boy, those meet ups for their reports . . . ) but had great respect for good ones. He is extremely bright but has chosen a career as a carer. Daughter is in insurance. Husband's cousin is a teacher and didn't teach her children because it might conflict with their teachers at school - as a result her son taught himself - he is exceptionally bright and works in organics, loves farming, makes cider. Makes me smile - all kids are lovely.
At age five,i had to be dragged into primary school, crying and gripping onto the seat belt in the car. Why? Because I knew it was somewhere i never wanted to be, even then aware of the forced education, indoctrination/socialization. I also did not want to fit in, or socialize with other kids not of my choice. I have always been a very aware soul. The "way things are" has always been obvious to me, the way the system works, that goes against human nature and soul, and by design.
Teach a child to learn and think critically, and you won't have to teach him very much else, that is, unless you want to control him for the rest of his life.
"School is a 12 year jail sentence where bad habits are the only curriculum truly learned. I teach school and win awards doing it, I should know.". John Taylor Gatto (1935-2018)
I do do stuff the government would wish I didn't do the things I do that rather I did sit indoors and do nothing they charge me £1,000 not to use my flat
Im going to have to go on the show. Because it is getting dire now. Many of the guests on here do not reply 😢 Quite obnoxious None respond They dont want to talk Just promo their own channels... Not connect and contact ppl
I hated school would've been so more suited to something else not necessarily home schooling. But something more outdoors/ nature , art & lifeskills based 😊
It was 2006 when my middle school aged children came home discussing pronouns! I foolishly thought it was an isolated event, just something they heard that day. Boy was i WRONG!!!! This was being taught in SCHOOL!
This is a deeper question that some cannot even begin to ponder. Some can't wait to send them away every day so they can just do them because that's what excites the "parent." This is a very sad situation. Reading books with me was never anything my mother did. Chasing men is what she loved the most. I love her but I keep my distance because I need to.
Because mum and dad have to work to pay the crippling bills and therefore cannot home school their own children, by design of course. The whole thing is a system
Do check locally… the number of private schooling groups is growing so fast!! ❤
A sewer system at that!
I left school over a decade ago and still haven't found a use for that useless crap that I was "taught"
the majority of which is all lie's anyway
Agreed. It should be reading, math, writing, geography and some history, relatable science and how the world works.
@@jjjackson5183I mostly agree but would add basics in nutrition, home economics & money management along side those academic subjects. 🙏🏻🕊️

Teachers... leave them kids alone 😔......
That's a joke. The band Cream in terms of music were far ahead of pink floyd.Light years ahead.
We don’t need no education.

It's all changing, we're waking up to the lies Richard 😊
Yes Richard . 😊
Some children more than others feel it in their intuition more than others. More school refusers these days means more kids knowing it's wrong.
And Starmer is trying to outlaw anyone being home schooled ..... I wonder why!
My whole youth was destroyed by sitting still and listening to boring stuff, while waiting for playtime.
As you are doing now . 😊
Its how I developed a complicated brand of anxiety and crippling depression due to being lied to about everything.
And, in our generation, getting thrashed if you were daydreaming.
At least a few are beginning to question now

Influence our feelings, thoughts and actions because we’re too busy hunting for STUFF that others tell us is SOooo important and represents how powerful we are and we don’t even know what we don’t know…Like, WHO ARE YOU, creator, YOU.
But it sure was a punishment, being at school.
very thought provoking for parents
Brilliant question. I must say that I didn’t learn anything useful to get me through life at school other than how to read and learn a bit of mathematics that’s it.
Exactly this! Basic English, reading and writing, basic biology, how to use a sewing machine and the pythagorean theorem, to make stone corners of 90 degrees. That's all of use for 6 to 8 years sitting still and listening to boring stuff, while waiting for playtime.
It could have been done in 1 year!
Richard 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I agree with your questioning of the education system Richard. Indoctrination system more than fostering critical thinking.
I am as fascinated with the room you're in, as much as your words. It looks like a lovely cozy hobbit home you live in. Just wonderful!❤
If they taught us about mortgages etc and how to really manage money how money is really created the country would change overnight.
So true Richard its fear but they do realise what's happening and are waking up to the reality.
You seriously think so .
@VincentVincent-s9t yes,but not en masse,as the numbers grow it will build a kick back
Respect to you Richard 💯 i tell many people about wots going on but nobody believes me thay think I'm mad so wot i say now is its no good knocking if nobody in take care Richard Trevor from kent
You don’t give offense
They choose to take it ! Hahaha
From the bloke who churned out shite for kids 🤣😂🤣
❤️🙏💚 I totally agree Richard! Joy, creativity, collaboration, communication, community…. is needed!
We are!"
If people knew better, they would not send their kids to school. What we need is a change of consciousness ❤
Dear Richard please organise an interview with Mark Passio from Philadelphia about The Great Work
Spirituality 👏👏👏👏👏👏🤝😇
🎉❤😮Thanks
You’re a good man Richard. Keep it up mate
With my 2 children education started at home
The problem is, we give them a Birth Cert, after they belong to the State, they are now on the sea, they have their Citizen Ship, their ship has Birthed.
I don't think a lot of people even like looking after their own children, let alone teaching them. A friend of my daughter is having her 3rd baby in 4 years & already has 3 different childminders for them. She works from home too. Also, a lot of young girls had a baby (or 2) in order to jump the housing queue. Sad but true.
I hated school I didn’t go for years so they put me in care this was in the mid 80s ,, it was brutal
Perhaps you had problems learning in the way they were teaching. I see that you can read and write, so that's good.
I just new at the time somethings were wrong with school
children should be taught both sides of a debate and then have to make an argument for each side, and learn to research
Check out the Trivium method for truth discovery. It is the first 3 parts of a classical education
One word control what hels .so now you a wake .top man
we should be left to live as our ancesters lived ,life was great then .
With elderly there too… not shut out …
Problem is everything is taught incorrectly… even music….
Ahhhh….. if only!!!! Lol 😂
Problem is people don’t step up and support people trying to do things differently….
Hmmm
I know my boys’ experience isn’t the best but at least they don’t have all the daily trauma of school and brainwashing.
Vobes.
"What have I done/am doing to contribute to the current 'system' of control."
Now give it some serious thought.
Safe and effectively 🧠 washed.
I'm glad I went through the school system before the National Curriculum took hold. I had some very enlightened teachers who taught us how to think, not to just accept things and to question everything. They wouldn't be allowed today.
They WILL stand beneath darkness third layer
Imprisoned as a punishment, now receiving a fate,in a place so desolate prayers can't even escape.
Learning to recognize lies and handle narcissism
I home educated mine ❤✌🦋
Habit!❤
It's not education it's conditioning, it always has been. Most parents are forced to work and denied the time to be parents.
RICHARD I KNOW A HELL OF ALOT ABOUT SYMBOLS AND I WOULD OVE TO COME ON AND SHOW WHO RUNS THE WHIRRLD ...
Can you tell me what Bitcoin symbol represents, I recon is another 33 freemason deception .
@crwonshe Yes but to be fair you are completely mental.
They cannot force you to to send your kids. Wake up people.
Sending our children to school is something _we_ do because, as he points out, propaganda is an integral part of a technological society and there is a part of us that actually craves it.
laws made by people are not for man and woman and their child. We follow the law written in our heart: do no harm / be kind to everyone / and firm.
Then they send you off to “Camp” in the summer …
Communist indoctrination camp.
When I ask questions at school they say I am disruptive.
Indoctrination camps
Sadly many parents don’t question
Many of the guests on here do not reply 😢
Quite obnoxious
None respond
They dont want to talk
Just promo their own channels... Not connect and contact ppl
I hated school would've been so more suited to something else not necessarily home schooling.
But something more outdoors/ nature , art & lifeskills based 😊
We send them there so we can work
💯% Y🌕U write Sir
Babysitting and brainwashing
Parents Rent Their Children from The Government via Birth Certificate and it's This instrument of Contract That Gets Your Consent..X
Yes, you don't sound at all completely mental. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
It was 2006 when my middle school aged children came home discussing pronouns! I foolishly thought it was an isolated event, just something they heard that day. Boy was i WRONG!!!! This was being taught in SCHOOL!
They ruin the best time of your life to condition you.
Slowly eyes are opening …
This is a deeper question that some cannot even begin to ponder. Some can't wait to send them away every day so they can just do them because that's what excites the "parent." This is a very sad situation. Reading books with me was never anything my mother did. Chasing men is what she loved the most. I love her but I keep my distance because I need to.
