Since there are now many Cardinals sympathetic to homosexuality, what is the possibility that the next Pope could be either a latent homosexual or practicing homosexual, or very sympathetic to the homosexual plight. The hierarchy seems not to point out that the practice of homosexuality is a sin.
For all we know many popes could have been homosexual - being homosexual does not mean you abandon the teachings of the Church. The Catechism explains that homosexuals are legitimate members of the Church and are called to chastity as are all those outside of marriage are. The Pope has never condoned extra-marital relations, he simply is open to taking his - Christ’s - message to all people. Sinners need to hear the gospel, not only those sat in Church.
If a homosexual preaches the Gospel properly, is it not the Gospel properly preached? To claim that God hates homosexuals or that women and LGBTQ are second class citizens to straight males... I don't think Jesus is good with that.
