Absolutely. His skills players, besides Bell and the big Miami receiver, are mediocre- at best. Beck needs to enjoy college because he is not an NFL QB- in no sane man's world. Kirby has been lauded as a great coach- he needs to show it. Oh yeah- Lovett is tough and has tons of hart. Tons
Not a fan of either team but I don’t really know how it would go if they played again. Seemed like Bama kind of let off the gas and went to prevent and conservative play calling. As soon as Georgia took the lead, Bama went right back to what was working and retook the lead instantly. Maybe Georgia could replicate that second half but it doesn’t seem like it would be that likely that they will go 5/5 on 4th down attempts again either.
I really think Georgia gone win next time but bama could win next game also it’s really tricky

We gave up almost 600 yards to bama. that is pathetic, we looked like children playing against grownups

The path forward? We need to improve our recruitment in the skilled player area. As for this team? I finally saw something of what they should be on both sides of the ball after the 1st quarter. Honestly did not think this team could come back from a 21-0 deficit on the road. So the guys need to drown out all the BS and keep pushing. We got Auburn next weekend and that should be the focus.

If Georgia could have just gotten one more stop there they win the game. They were down by four TD’s and still almost won after they had turned it over three times in a night game on the road in one of the hardest stadiums to play in. Absolutely insane. Georgia is capable of beating any team, but another bad half against a quality opponent could doom them once again.

I actually think higher of Georgia than before. This is the first game they showed the ability and willingness to throw downfield, and do it often. However the defense is still a huge problem. Georgia gives up 40 to every elite offense, and they’ve given up 41 to Bama three times now

Willingness? I don’t know what other option they had down 3 scores in the fourth quarter. Ability might be a better term. And no, they don’t give up 40 points every time they play an elite offense. They didn’t give up 40 last year against Alabama. In 2022, they didn’t give up 40 against Tennessee and they gave up 18 against Alabama in the Natty.

DeBoer didn't have control over that game. Milroe did, and Saban definitely is still pulling strings. Dawgs rallied too late. I don't feel like that loss was completely due to Beck's throwing. UGA's receiving players need to step up and catch what Beck is throwing. So many missed opportunities last from the receiving players.

This game reminded me of Steve Spurrier vs Peyton Manning in 1996. FL went up in the first quarter 35-0. Peyton spent the rest of the game working on a comeback. He threw for about 560-something yards that night. They scored with 10 seconds left. It ended up 35-29 and UTK lost
It's so frustrating to watch my team start playing only after our opponents score. Last year, it was the first quarter, but against Alabama, it was the first half. It's so frustrating knowing they have the talent to win everything but always dedicate a certain amount of time to playing like garbage.

It's funny when yall played with the same group of receivers against Cincinatti I didn't hear anything about not having the other receiver (metchie). Is it because Bama won and didn't lose? I think so. I looked at bama's roster and yall had 4 and 5 star receivers all on it, so I have no pity for that. Plus yall had Bolden, Brooks, Hall, and Holden. It's not Georgia's fault that your OC and Saban decided to make your offense a two wide receiver show. Bolden was a Senior, but bama didn't have any wide receivers let yall tell it. EXCUSES!

Imagine Beck with the Panthers like Bryce Young. He is not a game changer. Bama went away from the game plan. They kept running on the edge after Georgia kept stopping it. Georgia lost to Saban and now Deboer. They go to Texas. I’m seeing visions of Mark Richt.
DB's need to be coached to look for the football. Also, Beck CAN NOT hit a wr in stride. Under throws and we had a 6'-3" wr for a jump ball and Beck under threw it so bad he never had the chance!!!!
Team still has a lot to prove. They need to find winners on the outside offensively, and they need to get healthy on d-line.
Just don’t know if we have enough time to do that before Texas. Kirby has to rethink his offensive recruiting strategy

UGA's issues go away by doing two things better. More mobile at QB and run the ball better. Sure the secondary has some new guys out there that are vulnerable as we saw last night but running the ball helps. Not sure Bama's secondary is that good either. USF threw the ball very well on Bama and Tulane blew out USF yesterday by 4 scores. Credit UGA for the comeback after Bama decided to go conservative on both sides of the ball in the second half but when the other team takes the lead on you well, Bama found themselves in a late game tight stop. Bad coaching, Saban would have never went this conservative. Still more impressed with TN on both sides of the ball and certainly in coaching.
everytime we play alabama it always come down to one of their offensive talents making one more play then our guys! we recruit evenly or better on defensive side of the ball with anybody in the country, can’t say the same for the offensive side! thank god for brock bowers
By the fourth quarter both teams were exhausted so it was basically pitch and catch football, advantage offense. Beck’s play put Georgia in a hole he couldn’t get them out of.

In a 12 tram playoff this game has no meaning. 3-5 sec teams will be in its the easiest league to make the playoff by far! Sec games have no real value anymore tbh
All props to Georgia coming back but those 5 4th downs had a lot to do with that as Kirby said. If it was a closer game many would have been punts. I have no idea why analyst thinks the game would be the same if things were different in the first half. I guess it is lack of perspective.

After 28-0…Georgia outscored Bama 34-2. Just needed to have a pulse in the 1st quarter. Can’t take a half to figure out Milroe

Georgia outplayed Bama for 3 quarters, and dropped 30+ for a comeback-no other team in the nation can do that against Bama, with or without Saban. If Ryan Williams didn’t unleash his X Factor traits with Milroe’s 50/50 deep ball throws, game would’ve looked different.

the final play of the game should tell you analysts exactly what would've happened had the game continued, or if they play again. beck was eating on intentional underthrows to the outside shoulder, because the bama secondary wasn't finding the ball in the air. that last play, dude steps off 10 yards, watches the soft lob, covers and intercepts it. they would've stuck with that moving forward and will be very aware of it if there is a next time. in the interview afterwards kalen deboer said he knew the cb would "figure out what was going on" and that's what he meant.
i will say going TO alabama is just a nightmare anyway. if they were to play at georgia or neutral site, things could certainly change. but, georgia is expected to be better than a road trip disadvantage. i'm curious what the narrative would be if this happened to, say osu at oregon. not the same, i'm sure.
Alabama arguably should have lost to Georgia last night. They still have to play @ Tennessee and @ LSU along with other SEC schools that are competitive. Very real possibility they miss the playoffs.

Beck is a good QB, but great QBs know how to improvise. Mike Bobo runs a vanilla offensive scheme that requires a surgeon working directly from a manual. He’s a good surgeon but still needs his textbook at close reach.
While I’m not expecting Beck to reciprocate Milroe’s unique running ability, he needs to diversify his own playmaking because Oscar Delp isn’t Bowers and Arian Smith isn’t Ladd McConkey lol.
Say what you want about Kirby. But it always comes down to… Coaching.
