I am in tears and my heart aches...i went to isle of skye about 9 years ago and it is still the only trip that is still most vivid to this day out of all my travels. The beauty, the serenity, its everything ...i miss you so.

Last August I spent three wonderful weeks in the Highlands. I tell people that there is no way to explain the absolute beauty of the countryside. Thank you for this wonderful video.
I visited Scotland in the Autumn of 2019 for 5 weeks on a solo road trip. I took more than 5000 pics and vids. Amazing job capturing the stark, ancient beauty of the place. It was the only place I’ve ever been that I felt content. I stayed in the country as much as possible. At homesteads and farms mostly. Spent less than a week total at hotels. The first few days and the last few days. My dream is to return someday. I would like to spend the last part of my life there but who knows how that will turn out. Thanks you for uploading the quiet beauty that is Scotland. ❤

Really great visuals but coming from a background in ecology, I would have liked the bird song to be right for the habitats presented, which took the edge off for me!. Apart from that minor thing, it was a joy to watch!

Absolutely breathtaking. The Scottish highlands are definately on my bucket list of exotic places to visit. Only when we speed up or slow down nature can we truly appreciate its magnificence.

Scotland is gorgeous. I had the opportunity to see the highlands and the isle of skye at two different occasions and I must say that when I look back I realize how happy my soul was. Pure indescribable happiness! The highlands are magical!
I must tell you that I was about to book a flight to Patagonia beginning of next month, but I came across your this film and it reminded me how happy I felt here. As if my soul went back home something like that...now the trip is booked for the highlands of Scotland! :)) thank you for posting this!

First week of October... mainly round tripping and hiking in the highlands. Maybe isle of sky. Hope weather won’t be too brutal. The last two times I was there in May, first time sunny and very warm, second time cold and very rainy! But it was beautiful, time for a nice fire place and some whisky! :)
I am sure it will be a great experience. I would love to do more hiking next year. I was hiking Ben Nevis in May ... great experience ... but be careful in misty weather and bring a map since the route is not very clearly marked. Whisky and fire place ... sounds great.
Beautifully done Casper - I've seen a lot of timelapse films and that combination of astounding photography and the sound track easily makes this the best. You've captured something timeless about those landscapes that I just haven't seen before, and I completely understand your comments about the silence. I watched it twice and then I sat and listened to the silence around me. Thank you for that moment.

Casper Rolsted and that reply may be the undoing of some of my part of the UK casper.. i know my country better than most, i have been from thurso to stranraer..everywhere inbetween....parts of my country are overrun with tourists...the isle of skye and edinburgh are most to mind.. my capital city is overrun with visitors...that fine,i dont work there, skye was gods land 30 years ago..no bridge..wildlife in abundance..never a monetary rich island..now in 2019, the scottish born locals have had enough...their way of life has been affected to the point, there is a backlash against the english people who have came to the island on the back of people like rick seives...blogging skye is now in revolt.. you are just another guy who promotes many images of the highlands and many islands of MY country, how many followers of your videos and others will seek out these spots..leave these places to nature with little human footprint..you do my country no favours fella. i am just a truck driver that has visited every part of my country..i do not want you to visit and put on youtube the places i have seen.. no doubt in my my mind you are a decent human being, your video is good, but we should never cross paths

The goal of the project is to share the wonders of nature with as many people as possible and help us fall back in love with the nature. I believe that only when we fall in love with something that we truly want to protect it. It is my big hope that I through creation of stunning short films with breathtaking video and audio can help the protection of our undisturbed places in nature and thereby the enjoyment of these wonders for generations to come. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of that. The peace and unfettered sound permeates our being for sure. I would say though there is never any silence - not even in space. It's a myth. There are frequencies being played out everywhere. I love how things slow down though allowing other sounds in. All the best. Mark

I've been in this gorgeous corner of our beautiful World six years ago, and I still have this dream about build a bed & breakfast in the highlands... Scotland is so green, and be there it's like being in a fairy tale, I feel the same sensation on the Italians dolomites and alps...

Absolutely breathtaking. The Scottish highlands are definately on my bucket list of exotic places to visit. Only when we speed up or slow down nature can we truly appreciate its magnificence.

Scotland is gorgeous. I had the opportunity to see the highlands and the isle of skye at two different occasions and I must say that when I look back I realize how happy my soul was. Pure indescribable happiness! The highlands are magical!
Yes, the Scottish Highlands are truly magical. I hope to come back another time to travel around this beautiful country and shot another film.
I must tell you that I was about to book a flight to Patagonia beginning of next month, but I came across your this film and it reminded me how happy I felt here. As if my soul went back home something like that...now the trip is booked for the highlands of Scotland! :)) thank you for posting this!

First week of October... mainly round tripping and hiking in the highlands. Maybe isle of sky. Hope weather won’t be too brutal. The last two times I was there in May, first time sunny and very warm, second time cold and very rainy! But it was beautiful, time for a nice fire place and some whisky! :)
I am sure it will be a great experience. I would love to do more hiking next year. I was hiking Ben Nevis in May ... great experience ... but be careful in misty weather and bring a map since the route is not very clearly marked. Whisky and fire place ... sounds great.
Beautifully done Casper - I've seen a lot of timelapse films and that combination of astounding photography and the sound track easily makes this the best. You've captured something timeless about those landscapes that I just haven't seen before, and I completely understand your comments about the silence. I watched it twice and then I sat and listened to the silence around me. Thank you for that moment.

i know my country better than most, i have been from thurso to stranraer..everywhere inbetween....parts of my country are overrun with tourists...the isle of skye and edinburgh are most to mind..
my capital city is overrun with visitors...that fine,i dont work there,
skye was gods land 30 years ago..no bridge..wildlife in abundance..never a monetary rich island..now in 2019, the scottish born locals have had enough...their way of life has been affected to the point, there is a backlash against the english people who have came to the island on the back of people like rick seives...blogging skye is now in revolt..
you are just another guy who promotes many images of the highlands and many islands of MY country, how many followers of your videos and others will seek out these spots..leave these places to nature with little human footprint..you do my country no favours fella.
i am just a truck driver that has visited every part of my country..i do not want you to visit and put on youtube the places i have seen..
no doubt in my my mind you are a decent human being, your video is good, but we should never cross paths

The goal of the project is to share the wonders of nature with as many people as possible and help us fall back in love with the nature. I believe that only when we fall in love with something that we truly want to protect it. It is my big hope that I through creation of stunning short films with breathtaking video and audio can help the protection of our undisturbed places in nature and thereby the enjoyment of these wonders for generations to come. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of that. The peace and unfettered sound permeates our being for sure. I would say though there is never any silence - not even in space. It's a myth. There are frequencies being played out everywhere. I love how things slow down though allowing other sounds in. All the best. Mark

I've been in this gorgeous corner of our beautiful World six years ago, and I still have this dream about build a bed & breakfast in the highlands... Scotland is so green, and be there it's like being in a fairy tale, I feel the same sensation on the Italians dolomites and alps...
