Nas started cranking out some garbage albums like Nastradamus while Jay transformed himself, putting out the earcandy like Blueprint III while at the same time creating lyrical juggernauts like the Black Album. I always thought Nasir never tried hard enough, he always kept it real but I think Life is Good was the best he could do right now- tank is empty for Esco.....same thing goes for Hov. Time for these guys to step aside and see what the next generation can do for hip hop.
