Speedpaint: SpongeBob Zinepants (Band Geeks)

Whoever's the owner of the white Sedan, you left your lights on.
I am super honored to have contributed a piece to the SpongeBob Zinepants charity fan zine that celebrates SpongeBob's 20th anniversary and donated all proceeds to the ALS Association in honor of Stephen Hillenburg. The episode I got to illustrate was Band Geeks (everything leading up to the iconic Sweet Victory)!
Fun fact: being part of a project like this is sort of a childhood dream of mine, considering I drew and stapled together my own SpongeBob comic zines as a 9 year-old. Seriously.
Additional fun fact: the third song perfectly captures how I felt noodling around trying to pull all of this into a coherent piece. It was a learning experience.
Total work time: ca. 12 hours?
