i got a poblem with my Evolis Primacy that the printer can't rolled the card. How i can fixed it? Thanks before. All troubleshooting has done, first i update the firmware, but i have notice the Evolis Print Center notification that said printer regullary bla bla...i forgot.
Hi Newbart ID , how can we fix PRINTER OFFLINE problem with Evolis Primacy? The cable is new and previously working fine with pc. But now, it keeps saying PRINTER OFFLINE and the roller keeps running and making loud noise. Please help, thank you

We have the problem that the ribbon always breaks at magenta and the magenta is welded on the card. Do you have any idea how to solve this problem? It seems to be a temperature problem.
This is an issue at times. Do you have a lot of color on the cards? Although there is not a setting specific to lowering the print head temperature, but you can get into the printing preferences and lower the brightness and contrast some and that should help. let us know at sales@newbart.com if you need more assistance.

My printer shows a Mechanical Error only when I press print, "There's no card jamming, Not strange noises, and Ribbon is new". I opened both of the side covers just to check for anything loose, but everything seems to be fine. If you have any ideas, please help.
So the ribbon belt of my office's edikio flex broke because it was worn out. I found 3 thin rubber bands laying around and use those as a replacement. Running flawlessly. Just so anybody wants to know.

@@wouter964 1st- clean the rollers and head . 2nd- change contrast level to 12 2nd- change monochrome resin to 16 3rd- change resolution to 600dpi

There is a RFID chip in the ribbon that keeps track of your usage. There is often a few extra in the beginning and end of the each ribbon
But head replacement is very costly
