My pine floor was recently refinished with oil based polyurethane. My research suggests that after full cure of the oil poly (30-45 days) it is o.k. to add a topcoat of waterbased product like Bona Treaffic HD. The rep for the manufacturer of the oil poly I used said that ideally if the vehicle or medium of the water based is water only (with little or nothing else), and the resin used is acrylic I should be good to go. Also, will Bona Traffic HD durability outperform a high end oil based poly ?
Wow, an ad. I learned absolutely nothing, other than to reconsider buying traffic and going with Dura seal. Two and a half minutes of spouting praises about your product and on the environmentalist religion. Two and a half minutes that could have been spent demonstrating how to apply this product
