They got a toy hauler version to that is off road able.
We just ordered our X3 gen 2. I'm excited
Thanks for climbing onto the bed. It’s so hard to tell from most videos how big that is. With this still pretty rare in the states have seen how the bed looks with a person on it.
I loved this series of camper reviews, but I have to say that the limited technical information about the Patriot line was kind of disappointing. I feel mean saying that it felt more like talking to a "salesman" than somebody who can talk to the actual quality if the unit, ie the weight capacity of the slide out sink/refrigerator or the fold down counter top. What about where to put the webber when using it? What's the fold up panel between the sink and the refrigerator for? The temperature range the unit is good for? From the last video, the amount of travel in the suspension? Granted it did look nice, but that's not the important part. It seems like he's more focused on the aesthetics, which I feel like, for somebody interested in this level or offroad capability, isn't the top priority
ROA Off-road channel should have a full review on this trailer as well as all of the trailers they sell. Shane goes into the technical details there.
Seriously though, no videos or reviews match seeing one of these in person. We just bought our gen 2 X3 and I can tell you it's impressive.
Does everyone but me know what a “coffee lift” is?
It's essentially a shelf made to hold a Nespresso machine that pop-ups up above the compartment when ready for use, but stores nicely below the compartment door when not in use. It's not stock, but is an option from Patriot
Nice video..
I think Bruder are better but, this dealer needs to promote their products.
I don't think if you can afford a Bruder EXP 6 or bigger, you can't find anything better. But those are for the one percenters..
Today I watched the X3 Gen 2 video. Check it out.
The technology seems to be much better.
I believe it cones with a cassete toilet and you can option and outside shower.
I don't the stand one but the Gen 2 has 40 gals of water which is a lot for this small trailer.
In the kitchen, they created another surface on top of the
That little compartment has holes on the lid store wet items.
The grill can be set in a swing arm to get it closer to the stove and fridge.
Love the big fridge.
I’m familiar with patriot and think there awesome. We have a camper and tent. I prefer tent and want to go into overland future.
My one question is AC. I know it’s tent based but for example outer banks gets really hot and the sand/ wind can tear things up as well.
I’ve seen stuff on zero breeze maybe like hook it up for nights but do you have any customers that have used patriots in hot zones during summer or customers ask about AC?
Very nice unit I’d sure like to be able to have one but probably not likely
At 60k, is nice but a little overpriced IMO.
Over priced compared to what were accustomed to, agreed! Quality isn't cheap though and when using these RVs for their intended purpose off road you will be thankful you paid for Quality.
Patriot Campers may be more expensive than others… but they are built tough to handle the Aussie outback. We have cheaper trailers available down under, but they tend to fall apart after a while. The additional cost is not just quantity but also durability. In the US also need to consider they are not designed for your cold winters.
What about off road boon-docking in extreme temps? Generators?
As far as I know external generators only but I think a diesel heater is optional check out there website!
it has a wabasto diesel hot water on demand and heater. very efficient on diesel.
In the 24 my they got away from the Wabasto and went with another brand. It's supposed to be an upgrade
On most trailers they also have on board water
would probably help people swallow the price if they knew there was a 12v system with a redarc manager 30 (solarmppt, mains charging, dc-dc charging) redarc inverter a display with all your switches for lights, water pump, compressor. readouts for charging/discharging rates whether power is coming in from solar, mains or 12v and at what rate. a remote control for the lights. you even missed the simple things like diesel powered hot water on demand and heater, the open ventilated storage locker on the left hand rear side for wet and muddy gear like recovery straps, the roof rack and the switches near the display to level the trailer using the airbags.
Real nice trailer just a little pricy
Ham operator s know about Anderson.
@@akbychoice having worked on the auto industry too. I know Anderson Power Poles.
You all know these things are literally not even worth half the price of what they cost. The patriot ones are probably the best around, but should cost like 20k instead of 60k. This business practice is the exact reason why big box stores take over and eliminate small companies. What happened to the dealer in Oklahoma by the way? Not selling well? Maybe cut the price down 3 times less and gain 3 times as many customers in the process?Nah of course not because then people would have to work harder
Your tent is nice ,. 60 to $70.000 for a Tent is just way too much For the average Person,. You can buy a Small RV with lots more and less set up time..
You can also buy a Ford raptor or Jeep Rubicon. These companies are run by fools trying to exploit a yuppy fad
With little to no offroad ability. This is more of an offroad boondocks trailer with a "living" space. No RV that I know of will have the same collective features that this does. Just depends on your needs.
Talk about space ? Really ? There is more room in the bed of my pickup. It's really hard to believe that people are paying $56,000 for these little pop up trailers.
I don't like any of the videos you upload where you aren't doing the review by yourself. Which is odd to say because I really like all your other video reviews
Haven't asked in a while, hope you are doing well and staying healthy. Always appreciate the detail in all your videos.
I've been doing well. Thank you!
