- sorry for this random ass video but letting everyone know cuz ive seen it happen a bunch and people are playing these versions and it's tickin' me off a bit.
play ur stuff from official sources not these bootleg dumb sites if u can help it! thanks!
I forgot to mention in the video but:
If you can't help it for whatever reason (like your computer just being unable to run the mods downloaded or whatever, I get it, tech sucks sometimes.), then it's relatively fine to play these versions. I still don't approve but I get it in a weird sense. Sometimes u just wanna play and it's ur only option, i getchu.
But if you DO have that choice, DON'T go to those sites!!!
I'm not expecting any of them to stop reuploading the mods any time soon, this is more of a PSA to try and avoid those sites.

Think a little before complaining
There are some people who do not have powerful PCs or use another operating system other than Windows (like Linux, Mac)
Those pages make fnf mods more accessible to everyone, since you don't need to have a decent pc to make a fnf mod run smoothly at 60 fps

so, i used to use websites like these cuz i used to think you had to pay for fnf, but i hadn't realized that the money was optional.
they've been doing it for around 5 years so i dont think anything will change
this is more of a call for people to not play those versions if they can help it, cuz they ain't gonna stop.

I can’t download FNF mods for the life of me, so these two are websites I use when I want to play FNF mods. I go to KBHgames first and if they don’t have a mod I want to play, I go to Gamaverse. I personally don’t have a problem with this as they don’t even give you viruses or whatever and I believe they even give credit for the mods, but that’s just my opinion. Sure they might get some fonts wrong, miss some graphics, or have the colors desaturated, but I think that’s just so the mods can run on low end computers. Kinda surprised this is the first time I’ve heard someone talk about this. Not just on UA-cam, but anywhere in general. Anyway, I respect you wanting people to download the actual thing on GameBanana & GameJolt and not use some random reuploading website. Honestly, I say just ignore it. Unless you Google the mod you want, you won’t find the websites anyway. That was my short rant about this video. Thanks for reading.
its..really not that hard to download and play the mods...MOST of them alr have the exe file/application for you to launch when you unpack the file..
hell, you could even do it through the mod manager.
UA-cam tutorials go a long way..there's even tutorials on gamebanana...
the main thing they abuse is children that dont have access to computers, only phones, tablets, and school-owned devices like chromebooks. its the sad truth that they know a vast majority of fnf fans (children) dont even have a device capable of running .exe files, therefore running to second-hand scumbags on the appstore and "free unblocked games" websites. action can be taken, but more cashgrabs would just pop up anyways. its been going on ever since the game came out-- and with all other games too
the reason not a lot of people try to take action is because its a hivemind, more and more are released every day, just one being taken down isnt gonna stop them
it hurts a lot but as a gamedev you just have to accept that, at one point or another, your hard work is gonna be turned into gruel for ipad toddlers

@@SnowTheFox maybe you could add a disclaimer to the start of your mods, warning them about playing on these sites? and thats assuming they wont just outright delete it, but *maybe* it could help steer more people away that dont solely know you by your youtube channel (or you at all, and are just there for the content in the mod)

Ok, I recently played your confronting yourself FF Mix mod on KBH cuz i saw it and i said to myself “Oh wait this is snowfoxes mod, i saw this on twitter.” Then i go into the song and see that huge font and was confused but still played it. Now ima download the actual mod now since that i know whats going on.
What about Snokido? They don’t put ads on their stuff and ACTUALLY make the mods run correctly. ((And they also give credits..atleast I think.))

If there is literally NO OTHER OPTION, then whatever, it is what it is, you can't help it, I (sorta) get the struggle
but if you do have that option, avoid them if you can!
i get what youre saying, but im kinda forced to use gamaverse for a few reasons
i dont have a pc still, ive been trying to get one for years, but i genuinely just dont have the ability to play mods on anything. im stuck with a chromebook and my phone, and while i have the psych mobile port on my phone, i still cant play:
- mods that modify the source code (new .exe file)
- big songs (i have an imposter v4 mod folder port, and finale and defeat dont load, double kill lags to the point i need practice mode, etc.)
- mods that have non-note mechanics (unless i plug my keyboard in)
gamaverse fixes all of these problems, because not only do they port and credit everything, they make it so you can play it at higher than 2fps. they make sure to fully credit everyone who is credited on gamebannana, and the credits are on literally every screen but gameplay iirc. they also listen to their community, they post all their stuff to their yt channel, and they read the comments and update things if needed. they also port some more underrated mods too, instead of just whatever new pibby huggy wuggy sonic exe mod that's popular (cough cough *snokido* cough).
tl;dr
i cant play shit without it usually, but i make sure to check out the original mod when i can, bc at least gamaverse credits everything
They may credit, but it doesn't mean I like it.
I've stated before thoughm if you have literally no other option, that's ok! I only implore you whenever you do get the chance to properly play the mods, abandon those sites. They still get money off it I believe which is NOT okay.
Plus. The ports are very sub par. The sonic's body being missing? That was gamaverse's. That shouldn't have been missed.
I only use Gamaverse to play FNF on my school chromebook. I just didn't think that *gamaverse* steals mods as well. I thought it was just KBH Games...
I used to play some mods on KBH when i couldn't download them due to my old Chromebook sucking @ss. After i got a new PC (That did not suck) i downloaded the actual mods and played them, more people should try doing that instead of using these websites for laziness or whatever since it harms the creators
I think it’s really wrong for these websites to be doing this, but this is literally the only way I can play these mods, because I can’t find a zip extractor that doesn’t cost money or just sucks for my low-end pc

Personally for me.. I only use them cuz my dumbass doesn't even know how to import a mod into the actual friday night funkin' game. So I can't even do that.

KBH and Gamaverse are shitty websites, ik. The real problem are these Chinese bootleg games that seemed to have set this trend, basically telling these thieving sites: “Hey, those shitty mod developers can’t tell you what to do with your mods, so you have the right to take their mods” Like, that’s a general scumbag thing to do.
Sometimes i must play in those sites cuz sometimes im going to my cousins home and they dont let me download mods, so i have to play kbh or gamaverse. But on my pc i never get to those sites
But they still put credit in description plus that's how i can play fnf since i have hp chromebook
they didnt get permission idiot...credit doesnt mean SHIT if they didnt ask the creator for permission..They've been taking games..OTHER than fnf n putting them on their site for years without credit
