Its nice that i get to whatch this, but my main criticism (of the film itself) is that since it was produced under the era of Stalin, there is an obvious Anti-Trotsky thing here. Even tho he was the one who litteraly created the red army!!
Yeahhh. And then the film was edited after under Khrushchev to then take an anti-Stalin bent. So the story has kinda been butchered to heck when it comes to those important figures in the revolution.
Sei sicuro?
@@dianamills5243 No. Hakim has a good video on this. France and England were far more friendly towards Germany, and the Molotov-Ribbentropp Pact was the last attempt of the USSR to forestall conflict with Germany after being rebuffed in proposing alliances with France and the UK against Hitler. They also did not invade Poland together; the Nazis invaded, and by the terms of the Pact, the Soviets were returned the eastern parts of Poland that were formerly regions of Russia lost in the failed war with Poland a couple decades prior.
Thank you so much, Comrade Ferret. ❤
Thanks comrade

Lenin ,il suo insegnamento e la sua azione,in anticipo di oltre un secolo !
Credo sia la versione 'originale' ! In quella dell' era kruscev la presenza di Stalin viene occultata!
This is unfortunately the edited version; I haven't been able to find the version that includes Stalin.

Guarda ad esempio il fotogramma al 1.43.44.
Bruh this was made in 1937, shouldn't have they known what that hand gesture ment? (Last scene hand gesture by lenin)
Not a salute.
Weren't the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany friendly towards each other in 1937? They both invaded and partitioned Poland just two years later.

The hand thing is a common thing as a way of doing "Go ahead"
It's not 180° as a roman salute but 90°
@@dianamills5243 the Soviet Union was literally the only party that was ideologically opposed to the Nazis, so no.
Love from india❤
Stalin inserting himself in the story 😂
He's not in the film.

I watched it in Chinese in the 1970's. The Russian original is better.
