Now that thats out of the way, sit back and listen to one of the best songs of Cirque Du Soliel's KA.
This song; I don't how to explain it. It has left such an impression so deep within me I can come back years after first hearing it and feel like i've re-discovered it all over it again; every time.
Same for me. I've been playing drums for 17 years and I think this is a percussive masterpiece. Not a single fill or flourish is ever repeated -- it just grows and changes. I hear something new every time I listen to it.
Seeing this show was the greatest experience of my life. When the characters portrayed an emotion the audience felt it as though they were a character in the story, the brilliant acrobatics invoked feelings of fear and wonder, and the music topped it all off by being one of the greatest soundtracks of all time. You know a song is good when you can listen to it, close your eyes, and be back at the show again.
Welcome to the world of Cirque I have dreamed of seeing this show played live it looks incredible I am a huge massive Cirque fan since I was rather young in my 6th grade year for my 12th birthday. My first show was called Quidom it was one of the most magical moments in my childhood it changed my life that is one thing for certain.
My wife and I saw this live in Las vegas in May 2007. Was definitely an amazing experience.
Saw it 3 times! I'll *never* forget my first show. Front and center next to the love of my life. I was a little scared when they did the camera-guy-in-the-fire act before the show. Even though it was clearly staged, I didn't know if they'd start selecting real audience for stage time. Thankfully they didn't!
From the moment the lights dimmed and the yellow-clad chancellor tocked out on those platform heels RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, I was absolutely transfixed. Summer of 2014. I still play this song on heavy rotation and probably always will :D

My favourite song from my favourite Cirque show as I know the lyrics to this song from my heart!!!!!!!!! Also, the last time I saw KÀ (April 3rd 2018), I payed super close attention to Rochelle Collins who sings this song live and watched how she uses her voice to tell a beautiful story. She evened looked at me and smiled during the forest scene. I am an aspiring soprano singer and I look up to singers like Collins for inspiration in my future as a performer.
My mother saw this live,we used to listen to this song every time we got in her car,after time it stopped,yesterday it played on shuffle,we talked about our old music and she talked about how the live performance moves you as a person,I fell in love with this song years ago,and will never forget it,amazing,tops all songs I’ve heard.

This show is so bloody immersive. The tone is set as soon as you walk into the theater. This was my first Cirque but not my last.
Saw it almost two years ago, went last month and it was even more overwhelming, fantastic. Worth the price for sure.

Actually it's some of the Chinese/Japanese drums. They use the sticks on the rims for the higher-pitch/sharper sounds.
If you've already seen the show, you need to see it again ASAP. I just saw this show last week, and the current female singer who sings this song is way better than this recording. She even slides up to the high D at the end. She was the main reason we saw it two nights in a row, no joke. She is phenomenal. Btw, if anyone can give me her name, that would be fantastic. Thanks
