Leonetti/ Figgins , L’Ecole/ Woodward Canyon are definitely must-adds. Highly recommend Force Majeure in the Rocks District and I really like Dunham Cellars as well. I will always have a special place in my Heart for A’Maurice, wish it was still there…Solid list 🍷

Thanks very much! Tried a Dunham in a restaurant and enjoyed it. Had just two days so covered as much ground as I could. Hopefully I'll be able to visit again before too long. Cheers!

Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed the video! Highly recommend a visit! Yes, Leonetti is excellent! Unfortunately that is another producer from the area that is not interested in visitors, so I was not able to visit.

I have so many takeaways from this excellent Walla Walla video. For starters, I love how comprehensive and detailed it is. You didn’t just give a simple overview or general directions; you walked us through, walked with us even - you held our hands, so to speak. I can tell that a lot of thought and consideration went into making this video. And it it’s such a worthwhile delight watching this and learning so much. Also, I love what learned from it - the climate, the 95% production of red wine vs 5% white (Did I hear this right? Well, this my kind of wine region!😁), the manageable driving distance and time between wineries (another plus point for this region!), the recommended wineries and wines complete with beautiful photos and footages, the must-know information about each winery including tasting prices and inclusions - so much information and all very helpful, reliable, and excellently presented. Such an impressive wine region, and such an impressive video! You’re the best, John! Santé!

@@AttorneySomm You’re most welcome, John! I’ll definitely be prioritizing this region, should I get the chance to be in the area. And your video/posts will be my guide.😊

Great tips, thank you! We are headed to Walla Walla from NY at the end of February. Several of the wineries you recommended were also recommended by a friend of ours who is a wine educator for Winebow. I look forward to catching up on your other videos.

Thank you for bringing attention to wines of eastern WA and Walla Walla! We may not be Napa or Bordeaux, and that's okay, we are proud of who we are and the wines we produce. Would love to have you tour the Lewis-Clark AVA of WA-ID.

If you get back to Walla Walla, you should really try some of the lesser known wineries that are producing excellent wines at very attractive price points - 5 Star, Golden Ridge, Gifford Hirlinger, Dunham Cellars, L'Ecole 41, Dumas Station and El Corazon, to name a few.

At least two with Napa recommendations, a Rioja and Priorat video for Spain and Chianti Classico, Barolo, Brunello and Italian white wines for Italy. Thanks! Yes, I visited them about 10 years ago. I enjoyed that visit and still have some of the wines left, but definitely prefer the wines from the Cayuse trio (which are admittedly much more costly). I did reach out to Rotie to visit again this time to try to visit again, but they never responded to my emails.

Well done video. We just got back from a trip to Washington and visited several wineries in the Tri-Cities area. Really enjoyed the layed back experience and the excellent and affordable wines, tastings, and food. Also met some really nice people. Will hit Walla Walla next time. Definitely did not realize how dry and hot the area can get!
