my dad owned one of these and it was a beast it was very reliable but wasted a lot of fuel but still my dad was happy with it and for me should come with a hemi V8

Just bought a 2012 Jeep Liberty. Very fun car to drive and looks great! Sky slider is a great bonus!

Still remember the jaw drop of my friend in his 01 Cherokee (Lifted with $5k in offroad parts) when I kept his line at the ORV park bone stock with the stock tires.
Tragically under appreciated vehicle for those of us who will actually use the 4WD setting for something other than slush or wet leaves on the road.
Until it breaks and Jeep wants seven grand to replace it
I have a Liberty and my dad has a 2016 wrangler sport. I prefer the look on the Wrangler more BUT I feel like my Liberty drives so much better and seems to feel smoother across the road.
Im in the market for a ten year old Jeep and yeah, the Wrangler does look cooler but is more of a chore to drive.

I would like to see a review on the H3 as I have been compairing the two. This saves me from driving 2 hours to toronto to find one and take it for a test drive on.... all... the... trails they have in Toronto. I especially like how you point out the interior flaws with the vehicle. like the pass seat mount should have some trim coving it.
Great review and pulls no punches. It's a Jeep. I own 2 (2002, 2009) and had a 2004. No issues with any of them. 04 MPG was bad but the other 2 are great. It's a jeep and it does perform as advertise however, on the 09, I added under armor all the way back. Wish it had 2 more inches of ground clearance) Keep it simple and keep up the good work.
I had a 2010 liberty. I loved it, then my wife totaled it. Thank god she wasn’t seriously injured. But the poor jeep was a loss.

Love my 2005 liberty. Also forgot to say it can hall big lods. I have put a snowmobel trailer and a 4 seter side by side behind mine and buled it no problem. I just need a new engion soon I have 212,000 original miles on it.

I have a 2005 liberty too with 25000 on it and it runs no problem and goes anywhere

My girl and I just got a 2008 Liberty limited edition I can’t figure out why my 07 Pontiac G6 does better up a snow hill then the jeep the traction control is a joke it makes things worse I think been stuck twice in places my G6 goes threw like it’s a hot summer day
Is that in 4wd low? The traction control is super touchy I've noticed.
Anybody have a airbag lite problem on the 2011 ?

Recently Consumer Reports (Rag) give the Liberty 27 out of 100. Mostly for what a Jeep is. Plane and well, riding like a Jeep. Having 2 (2002 and 09), I drive them because of what they can do, not what the "cute utes" pretend they can do. If I want a CAR, I'll get a RAV or CRV. Otherwise, I like being able to "bang the bottom" and get muddy without voiding the warranty.
