My guess is it was cut from the album because of the lyrics. Listen carefully throughout but especially at the end (4:09). Might have been too political for some corporate decision maker.
Yeah I’d agree with you there. Would love to be a fly on the wall during her record exec meetings! My take on the lyrics is that it could be applied to yourself by looking inwards rather than a comment about America. But obviously she wanted it to be a little more political.
