What does democracy mean to you?

In March 2024, SAIIA and Youth@SAIIA, with the support of the Embassy of Sweden in Pretoria, hosted informal consultations with youth to engage on the broad topic: ‘Does democracy work?’
Participants shared their insights on the importance of voting, democracy, and meaningful youth participation.
