Boss, goans are not doing this but most of them are outsiders from Karnataka ,Maharastra, Rajasthan, Gujarat who comes to Goa to make quick money. Off course, there is problem with Goa Taxi Drivers but most of the non-goans had made goa a dump....
Goa don't look good it's just an average beach nothing exclusive. While thailand puket etc have world's most beautiful beaches. Thailand is even more beautiful than Maldives . Goa need good infra development and old British portugal architecture redevelopment. It's only thing that make goa different from other beach
@@OM-jc9mh kokan has no facilities for tourism.. not even basic facilities... Kokan people don't want to develope it as tourist place.. most kokan youth go to Mumbai or Pune for work and kept their village backward on purpose
Goa is an exceptionally beautiful state, celebrated for its vibrant culture and warm, hospitable people. While locals may occasionally seem stern, it often stems from frustration with tourists who drive recklessly, litter indiscriminately, and disregard traffic rules-issues commonly observed in parts of northern India. The Goan community is otherwise remarkably disciplined and harmonious. However, I must admit my disappointment with the taxi mafia, which detracts slightly from the overall experience. Despite this, I am utterly enamored with this enchanting place and its unique charm!
Yes locals are very greedy and rude... They only talk for money rest they not even say a word. Infact they shout and say bad words .99% of people are rude.
Tourism before ola Uber come to Goa was high and after that was also high this is all because of government has taken some app based taxi like Goa miles this drivers are from Delhi and all misbehaving with tourist because they all are from outside Goa
Looting by cab mafia is insane there. You cannot book Ola/Uber and do not even have auto facility in general. Just for 10km they would charge more than 1000 Rs. This is just way too high if you compare the infrastructure and facilities available.
that's true same in Himachal. The moment they see white skin...they start rolling in front of them....even if u give same Money....they make smug face to indian tourists. Never went to goa again..... travelling foreign or even a remote beach is better experience.
I am a frequent traveler to Goa, but this time two locals on a bike unnecessarily threatened us. The mistake was on their part yet they abused us and acted aggressively while I was traveling with my mom on a bike. It was really disgusting.
My wife visited Goa very recently with her friends. Her experience was greatly spoiled because of the Taxi mafia and lack of bus services. And everything is very expensive. I have decided to vacation in Hua Hin (Thailand), Penang (Malaysia) or Da Nang (Vietnam). Even Bali is an option (reasonable prices and very exotic at the same time). Even with airfare and visa fees, those places are still worth it. And some of the best Punjabi Veg food I found was in Langkawi (Malaysia) ... almost same prices as in India.
For cleanliness tourists and people are responsible 100% we indians dont care about cleanliness and are hated worldwide for it. And if you ppint such people the answer would be mind your own business or why are cleaners hired.
Most of goans work abroad and London and Europe because of portuguese passport. Most of the people working in tourism sector are outsiders. So most of goans don't care about tourism. Because of tourism locals are facing major rise in land prices.
goa govt is currently focus on mining business. They don't care about tourism anymore. Because tourism industry are grabbed migrants. If tourists decline they they will effect more specially people from Delhi who is doing 50% business in Goa
@@rajmandrekar9166 it will benefit local goans in the long run because with the drop in domestic migrants and tourists the foreign tourism will rise up again with locals back in charge as it was before. Most domestic tourists and migrants come to Goa to chase foreign tourists on Goa's beaches. The perverted cheap "6 thousand rupees" mentality which has scared away foreign tourism since 2014. Domestic tourists decline, foreign tourism will automatically rise up again.

Goa is nothing like how it used to be before...most of the establishment run by non goans...so the loot starts from there.
Taxi scam k alawa pub scam bhi hai. Off season main entry fee lekar kahete hai 1-2hours main pub open hoga, tab tak forcefully aapko kuch na kuch order karna hoga jo expensive hoga. Baad mai bol denge aaj pub open nahi hoga aur entry fee bhi return nahi denge. Police inse mili hoti hai, koi help nahi karta.
Its not only about goa, this is happening in all the tourist places in india, i recently visited shimla, taxi charged rs400 just for 2km, tourist face issue everywhere because of taxi mafiya, high pice of hotels, we need some kind of revolution for indian tourism
Goa is lacking infrastructure, connectivity, parking and toilet facilities near beaches and markets. Taxi mafia is killing Goa tourism in a big way. More shacks than tourists. Food is very expensive in these shacks. Must allow ola, uber, autos with meters. More affordable hotels are required in South Goa.
Some points that i found in Goa, As i am a regular visitor in Goa/Arambol. 1. Taxi Prices are like 2700-3000 from Dabolim Airport to Arambol - I think Uber or Ola is required here as this taxi mafia is looting dometic tourists and so international too. 2. Apartment rents or Hotels rents are depending upon season. Like if you go from October to december, the rent of apartment will be around 40,000 rs or 60,000 rs and so hotel rents will be around 1 lakh too. So the price hike in season and if you go after January, you can easily get apartments at 25,000 rs for entire month with AC and 3 star hotels at 500 rs per day. - This has to be change and one normal affordable rent should be quoted to tourists, where it is domestic traveler or international. 3. It is common that when indians see foreign nationals in bikini, most tourists who never seen bikini's women/girl. They would try to flirt or irritate them and because of that Goan people will beat them - Instead Goan people must educate the dometic traveler that you shouldn't irritate foreign nationals. 4. As for apartment/Hotel services, you cannot argue with locals in Goa. They will simply say in a arrogant way that this is how our place is and if you want to stay then stay or get out - Whether it is Domestic or foreign nationals, you respect them and that Goan people need to learn. 5. No proper veg restaurants, anywhere you go in Goa and you won't quality veg but non veg the best. South indian dishes have no taste, forget after punjabi as it is tastless. - Need a proper quality restaurant in Goa. 6. Scam is at large, too much scams. If you have contacts with Goan people then you are safe, otherwise your money is gone and you can't do anything - Their police are always after money, instead of helping you. Lots of loopholes in police The reasons why foreign nationals are low is because of high and unfair price. But I would suggest to travel goa after 5th January and you will get low price apartment/hotel. As for taxi, nothing is going to change.
All valid points noted...how can Goans convince the local tourist(men) to wear proper clothing and NOT roam around in their usual underwear on the beaches? It is a disgusting sight, with social media at our fingertips, one doesn't need to be told right on how to behave and what to wear when on holiday? Drink and leave the garbage on the seashore?
@@exploringlife8671 September to december, i don't guess any, because goan's still thinks that they are expecting foreign tourists. After january 5th, anywhere in goa. @@Top_Funny_Videoss thank you for the help.... I m going Goa for the first time. Could you please tell which one is the main beach of Goa so that I can go to that area and search for hotels to skip high taxi fares. Thank you in advance
@@exploringlife8671 actually there are no main beaches, you will find people everywhere on every beaches like baga, anjuna, Calangute, morjim or palolem. Here you will find mostly indians. The foreigners beach are Arambol and Vagator. Morjim locality is a porsche area, their hotels or apartments have high fares. Arambol is kind of village or say mini city and mostly foreigners. Now, which airport you are selecting. Dabolim airport to anjuna taxi fares will be a bit less and from Mopa airport to arambol will be like 1400-1500 rupees. From dabolim airport to anjuna will be like 2000 rupees. So you have options to select, where you want to enjoy your life. Usually i take taxi's from dabolim to arambol cost me around 3000 rupees. So, taxi fares won't be cheap. As for hotels and apartment, you need to have ability to negotiate. If you are able to negotiate with them then you will lend at cheap price for stay. But always check hotels rooms and washrooms first, should be in working condition. Don't pick OYO hotels, they are always useless and pathetic hotels. Btw, This time by 5th jan 2025 i am also coming there at arambol. If you are coming for the first time, then you will need two wheeler vehicle on rent, you will get mostly around 300-500 rupees a day. Keep in mind that when you take on rent, take out your mobile and record the video on the condition of scooter. Shoot entire video of scooter on all sides. So that, later they cannot argue for damages. This scams are also famous in goa. And don't go for any massage place, they are mostly scammers. So stay away from massage shops or privates. Incase if you are going to party somewhere at pubs or on beaches and you are approached by someone females, be sure never to spend so much money on booze for them, this are scammers too. In short, keep your mind stable and be stable. Girls and booze system is almost same like in thailand. They want you to spend mass money. When you are in Goa, be practical. Rest is all good.
actually it ain't only goa.....in india people are generally short-sighted.....whenever a place becomes popular tourist centre.... and money starts flowing in, locals develop there an attitude as if they doing some favour by letting people come. Except for tpurism, goa dont really has much to offer.

I have visited kerala and goa both The difference is kerala locals are very kind to tourists but in Goa it's quite opposite locals are rude and some of them make fraud and loot you.
As a local Goan, I must say I strongly feel that the taxi system here is quite exploitative. They tend to charge exorbitant fares without any regard for fairness.
This is good news for local goans, whose peaceful way of living has been destroyed by uncivilised domestic tourists, loud noise pollution, charging exorbitantly by airline mafia and Delhiwalla hotel lobby mafia and land grab mafia. Roads are in very bad shape. Lastly, the corrupt Goa government and most corrupt Goa Police are responsible for fall in tourism.

We r goans, not depending only on tourists we can survive without that. We'll have food on our plate without tourists also. Just think about delhilite who's running their business in goa... Goans doesn't ruin goa but delhilite...
One of the biggest challenges is the taxi mafia, where private taxi operators charge exorbitant fares due to the lack of a regulated meter system or app-based services like Ola and Uber. This monopoly thrives because of political backing, as taxi unions are a significant vote bank. Tourists and locals alike suffer from this exploitation, while public transport remains unreliable and inconvenient, leaving locals with very few affordable options. For example, a short 10-minute ride could cost ₹500 or more, which is unreasonable and deters many tourists from exploring Goa freely. Another pressing issue is corruption and the endless delay in infrastructure projects. Despite significant revenue from tourism, Goa’s roads remain perpetually under construction, and poorly managed projects result in potholes and traffic congestion. Political corruption, lack of accountability, and misuse of funds are to blame for this mess. A classic example is roads being dug up repeatedly for different utilities, only to be poorly patched up, causing daily inconvenience to both tourists and locals. Adding to the frustration is the misconception that Goans are anti-tourism. This isn't true-Goans understand the importance of tourism for the economy. However, their frustration stems from the mismanagement of tourism and the behavior of certain tourists. There are two types of locals-those directly connected to tourism, such as guesthouse owners and shack operators, and those indirectly affected by it, like regular citizens who suffer from noise pollution, privacy invasion, and overcrowding. For instance, locals often have to deal with tourists entering private properties without permission just to click photos. The rise of online booking platforms has further created tension, as tourists arrive with unrealistic expectations based on misleading photos, leading to dissatisfaction and unnecessary arguments. Many properties advertised online don't match their descriptions, causing disputes between guests and local businesses. Irresponsible tourist behavior is another major concern. While many tourists respect Goa's culture and beauty, a significant number treat it as a free-for-all zone. Beaches are littered with beer bottles and plastic waste, tourists trespass into private properties for photos, play loud music late into the night, and, in some cases, harass locals. For example, families visiting beaches often have to deal with broken glass bottles hidden in the sand, posing serious safety risks. Bollywood, social media influencers, and certain TV shows have contributed to promoting an image of Goa that focuses only on alcohol, parties, and casual encounters rather than its rich culture and natural beauty. This stereotype attracts tourists who come with the wrong mindset, causing further damage to Goa’s image and social harmony. Another overlooked problem is the skyrocketing real estate prices driven by wealthy outsiders buying properties for investment purposes. Agricultural land is being converted into luxury villas, and construction is happening without environmental consideration. This has made it nearly impossible for locals to afford homes in their own land, while environmental damage continues unchecked. For example, once fertile farmland is now covered in concrete, impacting both livelihoods and local food production. Unemployment is another growing concern. Despite being a tourism hub, most jobs created are seasonal, low-paying, and lack job security, forcing many young Goans to seek better opportunities outside the state. For example, many Goan youth migrate to countries like the UK or the Middle East in search of stable employment. Traffic policing is another area where frustration peaks. While enforcement of traffic rules is necessary, over-policing and alleged ‘fine quotas’ create unnecessary tension between police, locals, and tourists. Instead of focusing on serious violations, minor offenses are targeted excessively, leaving both locals and visitors feeling harassed. Environmental degradation cannot be ignored either. Overcrowding during peak seasons puts immense pressure on resources like water, electricity, and waste management, while historical and cultural sites are often damaged by irresponsible tourists. Festivals are becoming overly commercialized, diluting authentic Goan traditions. For instance, once peaceful church festivals are now crowded events dominated by commercial stalls and loudspeakers. However, despite these problems, solutions do exist. Implementing a regulated taxi system with meters or app-based platforms, ensuring transparency and accountability in infrastructure projects, running responsible tourism awareness campaigns, improving affordable public transport, enforcing stricter real estate regulations, and investing in skill development and alternative industries are crucial steps forward. Traffic enforcement must also be done fairly, without targeting locals or tourists unnecessarily. At the end of the day, Goa is not just a tourist destination-it is home to generations of people with a unique culture and identity. Tourism should benefit everyone-locals, businesses, and visitors alike. But for that to happen, authorities, locals, and tourists must work together towards sustainable and responsible tourism. Only then can Goa continue to be the paradise it was always meant to be-for everyone.
Goa is captured by Delhi and other states people.now 50 percent is original Goans, and 50 percent is outsiders. Everyone is coming here and settled here and created more problems.

As a first-time visitor to Goa, I had a nightmare experience. It’s disheartening to think that anyone would come to Goa only to be cheated by taxi drivers, restaurants, and hotels, while also facing inappropriate behaviour from local police. Goa has become a city plagued by scams, and tourists are increasingly avoiding it due to the continuous harassment, cheating, scams and deceitful practices. There seems to be no effective mechanism to hold hotel owners, cab drivers, and other wrongdoers accountable for their actions against unsuspecting visitors. Goa is in a dying state, and it’s important to address these issues before it’s too late.
Bhai Vietnam or Thailand mein open culture hain, jaannat hain woh, bharat ke log wahan jaate hain, tourist yahan kyun aayenge .koi competition hi nahin hain .
Being a Goan myself, I am happy if tourism declines. It’s painful to see how tourism has ruined the beauty and peace of our state. Many domestic tourists don’t respect Goa, they litter everywhere, act rude, and show no care for the environment or local culture. Our beaches and public spaces are now dirty and overcrowded. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if tourism slowed down for a while so Goa could recover. We don’t need more tourists; we need better ones, people who respect our land, our people, and our way of life. I wish Goa could return to the clean, serene beauty it had back in the 80s and 90s, when nature thrived and life was peaceful. Those days felt like paradise, unspoiled and truly ours.

The price hike is not only in Goa but even in other tourist destinations in South India.. for a decent stay you need to pay 20-25k for one night stay, that too these are not any 5 star. It's fine you hike a bit in peak seasons but there should be some regulation.
Two sides of the coin. Taxi mafia, parking mafia, shacks mafia and more. Overpriced restaurants, pubs and hotels. A 4 star in Goa could cost upwards of 20k/ night and compare that with Sri Lanka, where it's half the price for a 5 star hotel. But then, having seen Goa in the 90s and later, its always been a peaceful place with typical goan hospitality. However, over the years, horrible tourists who trash the beaches and every place they go to, creating ruckus on roads, hooliganism etc has changed the whole look of the state. And rightly said, it's the system which is at the core of the issue. Try trashing in Thailand and you would be promptly fined by the cops. Nothing of that sort here. Everyone is just trying to maximise profit without any concern for the environment or the tourists. I guess, the only way Goa can have a reality check is when tourism drops to rock bottom.

I have been working in Goa for many years, and I completely agree with you.

Better switch to Gokarna Udupi mangalore
Mangalore 😂😂😂 where many girls do anything for MLM 😅😅😅 even I got blowjob by NITK girl😅😅😅
Lots of loopholes in police
The reasons why foreign nationals are low is because of high and unfair price.
In which part of Goa one would get cheap hotels.
@@exploringlife8671 September to december, i don't guess any, because goan's still thinks that they are expecting foreign tourists. After january 5th, anywhere in goa. Any hotels or apartment you will get cheaper...If you want to stay longer like 15 days to a month, then it is better to hire apartment then hotels.

गोवा में टूरिस्ट स्कैम की कुछ ज्यादा ही हो गया हैं।
Goa is captured by Delhi and other states people.now 50 percent is original Goans, and 50 percent is outsiders. Everyone is coming here and settled here and created more problems.

And about nightlife goan people are also staying in Goa who wants to sleep at night early around 9pm or soo and we humans don't like to hear loud music while sleeping tats irritating......and the hotels which are being build are by other mumbai or delhi people who are destroying our nature and that's y people of goa gets frustrated thinking tat there will be nothing for theire future children's .... Goa needs healing from over tourism
Most tourists come in Goa for women for sex , drugs and all such disgusting people no one talk about this but NO ONE SHOW THE SIDE OF GOAN PEOPLE BUT TO DEFAME OUR GOA
As Natives Take Action Bring Regulations on beach shacks keep beaches Clean. And moreover Needs better roads for Tourism. People only pay for the amenities they get.
lol goan people were still promoting these things earlier... only difference was thT they were giving it to Europeans so felt it was cool😂😂
Then stop serving tourists altogether..... Don't complain even when Goans starve
@@NoOne-kx7zs yes but atleast Europeans did respect the goa its beauty and goan culture and not by destroying our goa totally
@@siddharthjoshi2470 yup the process is going on people of goa want the goa and its beauty for future ... Everywhere there is over tourism there will be distruction of that place my friends from diffent places tell me how tourism and mostly bad tourists are destroying theire states which is bad ..... We just want our goa to be beautiful again
I have visited goa this year from 22-25 Dec. And also visited last year on the same dates. There is a huge downfall observed in tourist volume this year. Compared to last year, this time roads did not have much crowd, also so many shacks on beaches were empty.
Last year gaye the Goa airpot se south Goa ka taxi fair tha 1600 aur waha bahut scam hai Galti se kahi galt bar me chale gaye to jitna bhi paisa hai sab loot lete hai aur kahan utna hi mangha taste bhi nahi aur price hi utna hi jayda
Bhayi mujhe 3500 liye the
Bilkul Sahi huaa..
Recently we went to pondicherry. Its much more beautiful n way cheaper than goa
Price is not the issue, people don't mind paying their hard-earned money to visit well-maintained places with clean surroundings habituated by people with good civic sense
Agree 👍
As a local it’s very safe for females but yes transportation is bad I agree and tourist leave all that plastic
Goan locals behave as if domestic Indian tourists are inferior to the 'venerated' foreign tourists.
There are new vegetarian restaurants opened by people from other states that attract tourist and local people absolutely hate them. They keep crying that these new places are eroding Goan culture....
Saare toh dhatkaram hote hai Goa mein, vegetarian restaurants khulne se kaun sa inka culture erode ho raha hai Ishwar hi jane...
From Assam to goa flight price is 12k for one person and Assam to Bangkok 8k...
5,6 sal pahle Goa me jyadatar foreigner hi aate the or Indian kam hote the lekin dhire dhire logon vahan foreigner ko dekhne aur unko video photo me jabardasti Lene Lage aur 6000 se European ko Badnaam karne lage jisse foreigner kam ho gaye aur Indian ko kam hona hi tha
Goa locals don't need tourist and people have realised it which is good as citizens that we don't hurt eachother feelings.... There are many other beaches across the globe..... Mauritius and Goa are out of my list permanently 😢😢
I'm watching this on 25th Dec. And let me tell you most of tge hotels are fully booked. I don't know from where low tourist data is coming.
A jo jealous log hai na vo goa ke bareme kush bi bolte hai. J & k, ke itne khun kharabe huye uske bareme koi nahi kush bolte hai. Tumh goa ke bare me jada mat socho, 50 sal tak goa ne itna kamaya, ki aur 200, sal tourist nahi aya to chalega. Ap log goa me khud ake goa ke makan dekho portuguese logone goa ke liye jo architect karke rakha hai na vo 1000, hazar sal tak kush nahi hoga. Tumh goa ke kaunse gav me jake dekho apko sunder sunder makan dikhega. Bharat ka ek hi rajya jaha zopadpatti nahi hai. Log bhahut khushise rahte hai. Sab log sarkari kam nahi to foreign me kam karte hai. Goa me bhikari nahi hai. Goa me har ghar me toilet hote hai. Jo garbage fekte hai vo sab karnataka t. N. A. P. Ke log fekte hai. Aur kadamba bus me travel karna asan hoga cheap hoga. Lekin kisise, kisiko compair mat karna. Ap khud ke desh ko barbad mat karna. Mai khud mahabaleshwar jata hu asche log hai, lekin shirdi nashik me ek agent ne₹ 2000/- ko muje fasaya. Jaha hava dalne gaya usne ₹ 1300/- ko loota. Ado koi bi tourist goa me ata hai to lamani aur karnataka logose savdhan rahna, to ap lootoge. 100,

Just because tera hotel full hai...iska matlab yeh nai ki Pura GOA full hai
GOA IS HISTORY WAS GOOD IN THE 1970 ‘s WHEN VIETNAM 🇻🇳 AFTER THE WAR STARTED RECOVERY AND NOW MOST ADVANCED COUNTRY IN FAR EAST SO ALSO THAILAND 🇹🇭 ALSO SUPER CLEAN STRONG STATE SUPPORT GOA DIRTY OUTDATED TOO MUCH POLITICAL INTERFERENCE UNDER BJP IT HAS GONE WITH THE WIND

The price hike is not only in Goa but even in other tourist destinations in South India.. for a decent stay you need to pay 20-25k for one night stay, that too these are not any 5 star. It's fine you hike a bit in peak seasons but there should be some regulation.
jese village me log kheti ya jameen ke side me hug ne ke liye jate he thik wese hi feeling hota he Goa ke beaches me
🤮🤣🤮🤣🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Totally agreed.. Pathetic infrastructure in tourism dependant state... Ye gaye saalon se chal raha hai... Taxi mafia to allag hi level pe hai... How come the govt has not interfered in this matter... 🤷🤷🤷
Goa deserves this. Taxi mafia, extremely dirty restrooms on the beach site and high prices for everything are destroying Goa slowly
