Day 5 of constant carry of my kydex. I've been going iwb. Best retention I've had out of any sheath I've owned. I've been loving it so far

Well Doug this was a great educational video my friend. I really enjoyed the processes it took in the building of that sheath. Very interesting stuff. I do look forward in any upcoming videos of this type.

Best Kydex rigs in the biz! I'm liking that new J-hook Raptor Dangler shape design with less hardware too.

    Dear Kydex God
Thank you for sharing your skills for us.
I followed your instruction to fix/make/change my knife sheaths and the results are great so I can use my knives safely when hiking or doing chores in my temple(Budhist)
However, Kydex God makes perfect products. I can't.
Just plan (try to figure out how)to purchase SOME from K God one day since I am living in Taiwan.
    Thank you K God

Wish they didn't last that long .my jakarri puuko still clicks even after the over molding has worn off and extreme Arizona heat 5-6 years and I leave it in my van for camping fishing

Excellent video. Your skills, design philosophy, materials etc etc are all top notch and you have really inspired me. I'm new to kydex and at this point have only produced a handful of pieces for my own use for blades in my collection. Thank you so much for sharing some of your knowledge. I really learned a lot from watching you work with the material and will be looking to implement some of these ideas on the sheath I'm building now. One of the big challenges we face here in Australia is supply chain for materials..Kydex is expensive here even for solid colours..but if you want Kryptek it is ridiculous...seriously it's $100 for a sheet! Let alone the cost for fasteners, eyelets and other hardware....even a Tek Lok is $50....but anyway your work has really ignited a desire to build some interesting carry systems and for that I thank you very much.

One more comment ..his micromovents are the thing you can't mimic as a novice. it takes decades of delicacy all 5sciences involved

I can attest to the perfection. My sheath has great retention, but at the same time, it's easy to draw my knife.

Can you share where you get your hardware? I’m struggling to find long enough eyelets for certain projects. Longest I can find is gs-14 eyelets. Also, I can’t seem to find quality Chicago screws longer than 1/2”. I’ve also been wanting to use alligator on some projects. Any sources would be really appreciated.
