Skavlan is probably the only show in continental Europe that consistently breaks through to reach English-as-first-language countries. The impression I get from many of the nations in western Europe, especially Scandinavian countries, is that the people often speak English better than many with English as their mother tongue.
That is a ludicrous assertion. I'm from the UK and have lived in Norway over a decade. I have never come across one Norwegian person within a million miles of my English skills; speaking, listening, writing, reading, knowledge of the many spoken English dialects around the world. The average Scandinavian has about 15% of the vocabulary or idiomatic expression or phrasal verbs compared with the average native English speaker. Most Scandinavians are decent at English as their countries/cultures are small and they are forced to borrow from the UK/US just as Belarus and Estonia would borrow from Russia. To try to insinuate that other cultures are superior at being English speaking natives is just utterly bizarre. I've never understood why some people like to do that. There must be an ulterior motive or a hatred of the targeted population, as logically it really does not make any sense at all.

"I can't take it anymore. Yes you can." Robin Williams sure could not. Divorce laws in North America are beyond messed up for men. You sign a contract but you don't know what the terms are untill the contract is dissolved, it's ridiculous.

I grew up in Philly. White people there are extremely racist! In elementary school kids whose parents were cops would openly claim black people were not human and the N word hard R was one of their fav words.
it's really good to see Peter Stormare laughing so much. Always loved the guy! He's always played sinister characters, and we never see him actually having a good time. This is a pleasant change.
Seriously are the laughters genuine? lmao never in my life heard this much laughter
we dont use fake buttons like in the other countries in sca we like it more authentic.
One Chris Rocks best interviews!
Have always liked this guy's humor. Great interview and funny as hell, but I found myself weirdly fixated on the coffee cup. I couldn't help wondering "Is that Folgers in that cup? Good to the last drop?" It just seemed like he would've been at the last drop by about 7 minutes before the whole interview ended. Whatever it was he was really diggin' it!
This is the best I've ever seen Chris Rock.
This is awesome. I'm rolling .
Rock's interviews are funnier than his stand up.
The host keeps trying to have a serious conversation with a comedian. That’s what funny to me right here. 😄😆😎
Chris rock is awesome. So cool.
Uses his cup as his only vice to combat nervousness...I get it
He's probably the only black man in that room and the host is an awkward fucktard. I noticed that too. Also notice how he sticks his hand in the hole of his pant leg.
"I can't take it anymore. Yes you can." Robin Williams sure could not. Divorce laws in North America are beyond messed up for men. You sign a contract but you don't know what the terms are untill the contract is dissolved, it's ridiculous.
Go Reds what does Robin Williams have to do with it?
Awesome interview!
Great talks
Two things: 1) The thumbnails people choose for their uploads seem chosen to display the subject in the least flattering light and 2) the Skavlan mugs are tiny.
Great interview!!!
the worst is he had to pay her lawyer to do that to him , double kick in the nuts
Smiles and jokes the entire time until he talks about Prince. What a serious look.
