Hello. Thank you very much for the comment. In fact, beaches like Ribeiro do Cavalo are very rare, not only because they are unknown but also because they are difficult to access. In Porto you will find very beautiful and sparsely populated beaches, however, they are not so inaccessible and secret. Here is a list of some beaches that may be more deserted and with a very wide sand, close to Porto: - Ofir Beach in Esposende - Sãozinha Beach in Vila Nova de Gaia - Barra Beach in Ílhavo I hope this helps, and I wish you a great vacation. :)
or you also can get train to Tua, Alegria, Ferradosa, Vargelas, Vesúvio, Freixo de Numão-Mós do Douro or to Pocinho or from any of those stations and stops. After electricity I hope they keep these gasoil trains because they are the only one who can be called trains of Douro Valley. Espero que depois da eletrificação que mantenham estes comboios a gasóleo porque são os únicos que podem ser nomeados como comboios do Vale do Douro.
Hello. I found the names of all these towns very interesting (Tua, Alegria, Ferradosa, Vargelas, Vesúvio, Freixo de Numão-Mós do Douro or Pocinho) which made me want to visit them all. Who knows one day. Yes I agree too. But I think they will have to let diesel trains run for that very reason. We are coming to Porto in September but I was captivated by your video of Ribeiro do Cavalo Beach. Are there any beaches like that near Porto?

In fact, beaches like Ribeiro do Cavalo are very rare, not only because they are unknown but also because they are difficult to access.
In Porto you will find very beautiful and sparsely populated beaches, however, they are not so inaccessible and secret.
