Hi... I am a student who has just completed 12th (2021-2022 batch).. I'm sure you wouldn't mind reading this comment... Why i wouldnt prefer joining this college is
1)First of all they won't tell you that this campus is going to get shifted to Kanakpura... It's true that the entire campus will be shifted and it will become difficult for students to travel and you"ll have to make up extra money for PG,hostel etc.
2) If you're a student who has appeared for KCET this year... Please check each branch's cut off.... You can get CS even if you get 45k rank...Depending on what SUB BRANCH you want in CS...
3) NOTE THIS VERY CAREFULLY... If you have written this exam DSAT which was held online... They will charge 2.75 Lakhs per year for CS (again depends on what sub branch you want in CS)... But similarly if you get a decent rank in kcet you can still get admission here..(I MEAN 30k-45k) so please don't end up spending 11 Lakhs by joining through DSAT
4) THERE ARE MANY SUB BRANCHES IN CS... For example Data Science,Cyber Security etc etc... For each sub branch there is a different cut off... That last time I saw the cut off... For one of the CS branches cut of was 40k or something which is not a good sign... NOTE- top colleges always have a high cut off... But this college isn't among the top colleges
5) IF you're looking for placements... They say that this all 3 dayanand Sagar branches have same placements and all campus seletion will be centralised... Idk how much of it is true but i think everything depends on your skill...

@@AnonymouS-xn7up I'm currently in my second sem at dsu kudlu gate , we are being shifted to the new campus in aug , next batch will start their 1st sem in the new campus , the hostel fee is 1.8L , and fees through dsat will also be increased , the shift is official and confirm , the infrastructure of new campus could'nt be any better ( though many things are still under construction).
