Friday nights are lots of fun. The CLL is #1! She likes to shop all over town, she picks things up and puts them down. If you see her out and about one day, tell her hi and be on your way. Cuz Jocelyn has so much to do. If you had her smarts, so would you!
Yes, I do understand "feeding the beast." We are resellers but we also love to go hunting for these finds. It's a great high when we spot that item that we know is wonderful! Today, I found 2 Fenton hobnail vases- one in pink and white and the other in red. They look great together for a Valentines display.
I follow quite a few resellers on UA-cam, but no matter how busy I am I have to watch yours everyday! There is no B.S. in them. You teach us all, not only about thrifting and antiques~but also how to be a good person. I totally understand about “feeding the beast” ~ the rush of finding something is really fun. I only wish the thrift stores by me were as loaded with stuff like yours! You are a philanthropist with all your knowledge and kindness! Thank you!
I believe you were having a "blah" day at work today. Then you pushed through it. You are the most energetic, hard working, and forward thinking person I have ever observed. Don't know how you manage to wear so many hats with such good humor and still educate and inspire your subscribers. So glad I couldn't sleep one night and discovered your channel!
Yesterday was an amazing day here in Sonoma. For under $80 we found nearly $1,100 dollars worth of items including my first large pink Fenton dish for just $10. Strange items to look for were vintage Hot Wheels metal cars and scratch-n-sniff stickers from the 70's-80's.
Oh my gosh, congrats! Courtney/BOLO Buddies just did a video on scratch n sniff stickers she found at GW bins! Worth $$$. Some were Stinky. I’d never heard of them - I am too old I guess 😂.
I get it. When I broke my right wrist and left shoulder back in Oct 2021…I was thankful I had a lot of product priced and ready to go to my booths. My daughter was able to keep my booths stocked while I was down.
So glad you started in the clear glass...I know some find it underwhelming. I was lucky today to find a Rene Lalique Festens straight Jardeniere for $3
Clear glass is definitely underrated. Try setting a formal table with your good china mixed with American Fostoria--cake pedastle, all the drinking glasses, salad plates, dessert plates, butterdish, etc., with silver candlesticks, grandmas silverware, white candles and white flowers everywhere and you'll never look at clear glass the same way again.😉
“Christmas sells all year long.” I agree. There was a man who criticized me on a FB book page because he thought it was stupid of me to advertise my Christmas books in March. Well as a Christian romance author, my Christmas books do very well all year long, so he might’ve been critical but I’m watching the sales and smiling at the numbers. Love your videos.
Ooh, that Noritake platter is so pretty…I would have picked that up for myself. I like the design and also like to have small platters to put larger or longer food dishes on the table for dinner.👍p.s. I’m only very part time, but I do understand the need to keep shopping and looking and buying. I don’t have that pressure….don’t want that pressure. But when it’s your livelihood and you’ve got hundreds of thousands of YT subscribers and your YT viewership is connected to your sales, then keeping fresh inventory and keeping viewership engaged with ever “fresh” videos is important. At my age, there’s no way I could keep that up…and then you’ve got kids and all. Whew! Great that you and Andrew do this together! Take care. ❤️
The mirror was definitely a score. Good for you! Don't worry about the sniffling. Thrift shops can be dusty places and have a lot of particulate matter in the air. Thanks for the video!
I heard a lady say once that if you watch commercials that it helped her financially. Even if you only watch for 30 sec. I hope that is true because i watch alot of adds 4 u and ur family. Love you guys😆
Whenever I see a low sold price I always go into the sold listing and check #1 seller feedback. Newbie’s price items way low most times. #2 I read the description on the sold comp. May have had a large chip or some other imperfection. Then I go from there.
The shell basket with dish reminds me of one of the Easter baskets I made many years ago for a community Easter party for all the neighborhood children, I had so much fun making all 27 completely different for each child. None of them were remotely like another, but my favorite was the shell... such great memories every time I watch your videos, and I get to learn sooo much about reselling also!
Every year I try to find valentine decor. Not sure why but always a difficult holiday to find. Did spy a cute foot stool on the shelves. Thanks for taking me along on your shopping trip... have a wonderful day!
I found the missing bottom to my Mary Gregory fearie light today...NOT!!! Now I have two orphan tops and one bottom. I guess it is officially a collection. LOL!
Ferry lamps are made out of glass And they have a glass dome with a hole in it you can put a tea light in it and the whole globe will glow. They are made by many different companies and many different styles and some can be worth quite a bit of money.
Fairy lamps are actually not hard to find in glass auctions (especially Fenton), but you're right about finding them in thrift shops.....I haven't found a complete one there yet.
I am not a reseller at this time, but I have done it very successfully in the past, so I get it. If you are consistent about being out and about, looking for the buys, you end up at the right place, right time, more often than not. Nuff said. ( :
I don't understand why people ask why you keep buying 🤔. I mean, duh? It's like a grocery store...you have to keep moving inventory in and out. If you wait until all inventory is sold to source new inventory then you're screwed because you now have nothing to sell 😲, there is going to be lag time and obviously then you don't have income coming in. I mean, duh! 😂 Do we understand the process yet people!?
Because of you, I started to say "squirrel" when I get distracted. Also, I'm finding myself finishing your sentences. I think I watch you too much! NEVER too much. lol
I’m glad you kept the pink vase for someone to buy for Valentine’s Day. It is beautiful. I really liked the items you bought today. The Fire King bowl was in good condition. The color is beautiful. I know you will do good selling the Fire King Bowl.
Hi Jocelyn. I get it even though I'm not a reseller. Things go out things need to come in especially if some days you don't find anything of very little and other days you can find a lot.
I’m a reseller and I truly understand we need to feed the beast, but if I could sell like you oh Lordy I would be out everyday instead of a few times a week!!! Take care hope your not getting sick .
The platter and about 10 things you didn't even blink at...I call this early spring fever? Your mind is on something else. Are you keeping another secret from us? We got a baby last time! ❤

Grrl! I went camping for two days and three videos dropped! You need to get away for a while! Take a vacation. And I’m so exposed I have videos to watch❤
Loved the footed bowl with "bell-flowers" and heavy gold gilt at 3:48. Too bad our "squirrel" looked away and never got back to peeling the price tag to find the manufacturer.
@@lindawells8167 Pink roses with blue and yellow bell shape flowers (maybe tulips). Yes very spring like!! Since it is -38-48F tonight with wind chill factor and our heating is having trouble getting above 60F, I am huddled in a blanket dreaming of spring.
I was yelling at my lap top, "you already have saucers in the cart!" and then you saw them. 😂 I like the colors of that dinnerware set. The horse in front of the mirror was really cute.
Has anyone ever noticed that Jocelyn’s camera skills are really good?

Why do you shop? Simple, you are entertaining us. So many of us end our day with your videos. If you didn't shop, we wouldn't learn. So keep shopping

Regarding that mirror with the pineapples, scherenschnitte is the German word you are looking for. Scissor cuts!
I think that people who ask why you keep shopping don’t realize that you tube is a business and your shopping videos are part of your business/income.
I loved the horse that you left on the shelf when you picked up the mirror
I know! I was like, " Oooooh, the chunky little horse! " But then she grabbed the tray behind it, lol.
Me too!🐴
Was like..."You left the horse?!?" "Get in my cart, please!!!!"
Same. Couldn't believe she pushed it out of the way for that hideous mirror 😐

Paper cutting-Scherenschnitte. I had a friend that did very, very intricate snowflakes.
