However I am afraid that now a days even in our Hebron congregation we are praising a mortal man than the immortal and powerful savior. We are called Christians because we are the follower of the Christ not the another mortal Christian. Indeed I admire great servants of god like his own hand picked apostle, but should not follow them as even the chosen men also deceived in the history of the Christianity. So please stop praising and following Lords servants but start following the Savior him self. Your observation is not right. Paul and all the disciples were mortal but use by GOD for his purpose ... for this generation he has used Bro. Bakth Singh. He only preached Christ and his testimony is a live example on how to follow Christ.
Yes I do accept that god uses his servants for his glory, however we need to see god himself in their work and adore god but not the vessels. I am a christian because I am following Christ and also Christ is the one who died for me not so called apostles or servants of god. The same problem of worshiping the persons back then in apostles time as well, that's why Paul warns the Corinthians that don't make groups and separate on persons name rather unite in Jesus name. Dear Brother when Paul says follow me as I follow Jesus , Paul was talking to group of early christian church members and they don't have enough maturity to comprehend the works of Jesus as they never seen him as well as they have different perspective about Christianity. For instance in the Gospel of John when Jesus proclaimed that one does't drink Jesus blood and eat Jesus flesh he will not be his follower, so people those whou surrounded and also even his own disciples thought this is cannibalism.
