I always had fun at the State Fair. This brings back a lot of fond memories.

Brought tears to my eyes to see where my grandmother used to sit and watch the shows.

Attendance appeared to be down a bit, probably due to covid. And there were few sun-tanned folks to be seen. This is not my experience of mid-20th-century rural Iowa.
