The Imperative of Palestinian Political Renewal

There are many dimensions to the current crisis for Palestinians-the unfolding catastrophe in Gaza being the primary one. As attention begins to turn to what must happen next-there is a renewed focus on the carrying capacity of current Palestinian political structures-in terms not only of governance, but also of the ability to effectively articulate and advocate for Palestinian political aspirations, freedoms, and rights. The structures of limited Palestinian self-governance created by Oslo and the approaching two decades of the political split between the West Bank and Gaza have taken their toll. Palestinian strategies for empowerment and liberation have failed to keep pace with the march of Israeli extremism. Palestinians would undoubtedly benefit from greater consensus, shared strategy, and unity across their political and geographical expanse. This is primarily a challenge for Palestinians but it is also impacted by external actors who can pave that road or throw obstacles in its path. In this moment of remarkable solidarity with Palestinians, how can a new path be forged?

The solution can ONLY come from the region and it is the responsability of the Arab countries to act together as the Palestinian people can’t rely on true help from the USA, its European allies and even the UN whatsoever.
The Arab states should TOGETHER with one voice:
- condemn the genocide
- call for an immediate ceasefire
- pull out all their diplomats from Israel
- expel all Israeli diplomats from the Arab countries
- boycott all products from Israel and stop any form of trade and relationship with Israel whatsoever
- call out for a sovereign and independent state of Palestine which will be built with the help and money of the Arab states
- call the UN to remove the permanent seats of the so called big 5 countries and their right to veto any resolution. All nations are equal - no more privileges.

Palestine leadership has lost its self esteem. They have become a society living on the mercy of peoples donation. Mahmood Abass has no leadership quality nor self esteem as a decent leader to lead a nation. There is a leadership vacuum in Palestine and an empathy amongst the Arab neighborhood as Muslim ummah.

Like any other country US Russia China France India Germany North Korea South Korea etc etc etc ....Palestine should have its own War Ships, Fighter Jets, Missiles Long Range Short Range, Round the world range, PGMs, Dumb Bombs, Smart Bombs, Mad Bombs, Tanks, choppers , so that they will defend themselves, as they have a right and obligation to defend themselves and prosper, then let the world see who gonna have the guts to send any of their warships to the red sea?
