Westbrook does something historic, and all I hear are back handed compliments. Russell Westbrook broke the all time record for triple doubles. That is historic, and it should be treated as such. I went to a OKC game a few years ago and I saw in person 2 things. 1 Russ was the fastest person on the court. 2 Adams ALLOWED Russ to get some rebounds.

It was a classic Westbrook performance - - huge numbers and then bad decision making that cost his team the game.
I think Westbrook is a force of nature but lacks the poise to make smart strategic decisions.... He gets great individual stats but loses the game because of high inefficiency.

For a pullup SHOOTER, that was a great look; for Russ it was not, and there was time to get a driving look, a mid range look or pass it off to a teammate who is a shooter.
