Hey Syd, they've gone bonkers at the UPS Store. They wanted over $100.00 to ship Frankie's package. So I'm taking it to the P.O. in the morning to see what they say.
I'd take the gas tank out and put vinagar in it then dump it out and see how much rust is in the tank. I did that with my 67 Ford then I realized I had to replace the tank. It's gonna take some work but it will be fun doing.
I can't wait to see it finished! I had a old truck that was three on the tree. I loved that truck. Lost it in a divorce 😢 What I wouldn't give to have another one.😊
Hope yall had warm soup after that, looked cold and wet! Cold air in the northern states, i guess it a good time just to hibernate indoors and watch 3 missip!😊
That kid of yours is really really cool...her wit and her exaggerated southern drawal is rich. I Crack up watching the familial rhetoric. It is rad too!! ❤
The things you find behind a bench seat😁 macgyver?😳🤣 🎶flintstones meet the flintstones🎵 yabba dabba doo... thanks that song will stuck in my head the rest of the night😁👍🍺
Hey, also, you can find alot of the replacement parts for that truck in an LMC truck catalog for that year of truck online. The LMC truck is online now as well, and American Body Panels out of Cincinnati Ohio online as well. I'll try to provide you with what I know. I'm not saying that there aren't other places you can get this stuff. I'm just providing who I used for my parts, and they were relatively inexpensive when I did my restoration, but that was probably 30 years ago. I'm just guessing 😂😂 sorry I couldn't help more❤❤
Mike you know about cowboy hats. The real hats were large. It was a tool, to keep rain.sun, off of the cowboys. Those hats you see in the movies were Hollywood hats.
It does run . It still needs more work but gutting the inside does need to be done as well and needed to be assessed. Everything costs money so we do what we can when we can afford it … novel concept I know .
Does that truck have the natorpin for the door to latch its the steel that exists in the door striker plate for the door to latch it can be restored or removed with a torque or Alan bit I believe it's like a T30 something or maybe higher if it's a torques if not maybe it the Alan type I used to a 1972 GMC pick truck I totally did a frame up restoration on maybe I can help you out with my knowledge of what I experienced and how I dealt with my situation just sayin if not I understand
WHY DID I NOT HAVE ANY SOUND FOR 15 MINUTES ....AND WHY DO YOU HAVE TO WORK ON THE TRUCK OUT SIDE IN THE RAIN ??????? GO IN WHERE ITS WARM AND DRY ... THE TRUCK WILL WAIT TILL A BETER DAY !!!!!
Love she's working on her own . she will appreciate it more when done.
You just got to love the daddy-daughter banter.
It's always fun watching Mike and Frankie working together 😅.... The truck is going to be amazing ❤

5 gallon bucket for truck seat, you are in Mississippi after all. .
Ha so true !
When heater cores leak in old trucks it comes down onto the passenger floor booard.
In time and hard work you have a good old truck. Its a good investment.
Not understanding the logic of worrying about the interior when it doesn't run yet. Will another project started , will it be completed?
It does run . It still needs more work but gutting the inside does need to be done as well and needed to be assessed. Everything costs money so we do what we can when we can afford it … novel concept I know .
