God doesn't create in distinct binaries, which is the problem with this way of thinking. 1 in every 2000 births are intersex on some level. It breaks my heart that those babies are forced through "gender affirming" surgeries to fit into societies moulds for gender. Doctors often pressure parents to chose to force the child to confirm to the gender they most easily can transition to "pass" in. We should love all of God's people, and that includes those He makes that don't confirm to nest humans boxes. I fear books like this will reinforce these cruel practices.

They are the exception and not the rule. There are anomalies in genes, diseases genetically passed through generations, for example.

@Rivkacain exceptions are part of God's plan. Why is something that doesn't harm their body seen as a disease? Why should they be forced to have these horrible surgires because society is uncomfortable with the scope of His creation. I'm against unnecessary surgires on babies full stop.

@Rivkacain God creates us all in His image. That includes all exceptions because we are crafted lovingly and with purpose. From the moment they were conceived god had a plan for them. I don't believe that should include human induced struggles in a season of their life that should only be celebration and love for the body He crafted.

@@Afilhaortodoxajust because they are rare doesn’t mean they don’t matter. If God made them that way at birth, who are we to change them?

@@Afilhaortodoxa that just sounds like unnecessary hatred from you. you dont need to call people anomalies, that's incredible rude

I really love this format of you reacting to your old videos and reviewing your standpoints and comparing them to how they are now! 🩷

I genuinely thought you agreed with the recent increase in gender resources for children because what you are saying up until 9:45 sounds completely reasonable lol. And then you brought up that horribly misresearched book and made me realise you are opposed to children learning about gender. very odd, it kind of puts into perspective that being in opposition to this topic (which is your stance) is really coming from a place of fear instead of education/logic...

I was about to say the same thing, having more resources in gender is actually a good concept and i thought they were going to agree on that. And I doubt that there is a book that is made for KIDS that is trying to convince KIDS to go through any surgery.

The most basic biblical argument against homosexuality or transness is God made Adam and Eve male and female and The only way this argument works is if you assume that Adam and Eve is The blueprint for all human relationships when That is an assumption
The second argument against this belief is In Genesis it says God made the morning and night it says nothing about the evening and yet we know the evening exist

It’s good to see you going back and discussing your past beliefs. You two seem to have grown a lot as people since then, as well as grown in your faith. I’d love to see you react to the god honouring makeup video, as that’s the video that really put you on the map in the wider internet culture!

It's a gender identity on the gender spectrum opposite to man! Often, women are also assigned female at birth, though this is not always the case! :)

The reason people keep reacting to your videos, which you should not change, is that you are two beautiful intelligent women for a while, then someone will say one small thing that sounds really dumb for just a second then it goes back to intelligent. I'm actually sitting here liking this
