RailfanMike. Nice video! I'm new to railfanning, although I've always liked freight trains! I've only been watching train videos on UA-cam for a short period of time...but I'm amazed at the number of people who "railfan" as a hobby. I wish there was a website of the best places in the country to watch trains. Is there such a website Mike?
No specific website really however, Horseshoe Curve in Altoona, PA is a well know landmark and Norfolk Southern puts on a heck of a show with heavy trains climbing the steepest grade in Pennsylvania
Try this, several live cameras different rail locations/stations across the country, some overseas as well. ua-cam.com/channels/OIkT9bq-1N2BvrsBjhNlag.html
They were doing a combination of both, The crossing was slated for replacement and the crews replaced the track to make it an all new crossing. It was also a day of track work in the area as well.
