her catalog of skills is actually huge, every year she would change up her skills yet she still has more in the vault.. i hope to see her even more next quad!!
Wow her cheng is actually really solid! I wonder why she never competed it at Paris? It would’ve given her an edge to qualify to the VT final and potentially could’ve qualified her to the AA final as well.
and to think she almost quit the sport before tokyo. thank god she didn't. she's still growing more and more and more in the sport. any other era she'd've been on top.
Her biggest payoff in 2024 was the Van Leeuwen. It boosted her bars score as the highest scoring apparatus of the quad, and hence increased her AA ceiling. A Cheng vault would have been nice, but there are gymnasts who either injured themselves for doing it (Skye, Jess), or simply not enough to fill the gaps (Josc, Leanne).
@@cocoroni1031 she tore her achilles, not her acl, on the takeoff for her chuso on floor. i don't think the cheng had anything to do with that (achilles tears often happen on takeoffs and not landings)
I wanted Skye and Shilese on that team! Biles, Blakely, Carey, Jones, and Lee! I think Chiles is a bit overrated. Good floor specialist since her ncaa debut but that’s it

she actually competed the Ariel layout layout on beam a few times

Skye got injured by doing a chusovitina
@ That injury happened when she did a BHS into Chuso. Upgrading that vault was a part of tension and tear on her ACL.

Next quad for Jordan Chiles.

It has been downgraded in the 2025-28 Code
Was that s triple twisting layout front?,?!a piked arabian half-out?!?i know she could do it, but she actually has the skills…. Wow

“a bit overrated” as if she didn’t place 4th in the all-around qualification stage lmfao, she is not overrated.. she’s just great and correctly rated
shes one of the best AA gymnasts in the world. shilese's gymnastics is ugly to me

#4 in AA at Olympics but "overrated" - be ffr
You confused Laurie and Jordan on the front triple...
Nope that is definitely Jordan lol
Too bad she decided to steal tgd bronze medal instead of returning it
