0:56 is me trying to do a really nice update to Summer Vacation for The Party's anniversary in July/August, but running into a ton of problems with the transfer process that did not occur in 2013 strangely enough, and after what seemed like hundreds of attempts to get a good version, the VHS tape got damaged and now all I have are the flawed versions, which have a lot of weird video problems that required a LOT of meticulous editing to fix... I might post a side-by-side comparison screenshot of the old and new version in the community section so you can see what I mean by "update". Anyway, it took so long that the summer ended before I could finish it and I just shelved it for my sanity's sake and out of sadness... If I had known it was going to happen, I would've started working on it in, like, January or something. When I did the old version in 2013 it only took ONE attempt to transfer it and was one of the easiest videos ever, so you'd think it would be easy this time too, right? :( I don't want to sound negative or whatever, but it's times like this when it feels like there are forces working against things...
Oh and yes there was going to be a small marathon for summer for the first time in three years or so, however what I mentioned here put a premature end to that. This vid is the last one for the summer and only because it was almost done and requested too. It would look silly to do the rest in the middle of October...even if it was an unusual summer that may not be totally gone yet for parts of this country. I wonder if this Halloween will be a warm one.
