BABY DIAPER FLOWER BOUQUET DIAPER CAKE
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE THIS DIY (SUPPLIES)
To Build The Base:
1 Piece of Styrofoam
20 Diapers #2
2 Rubber Bands #33
1 Old paper roll
4 Sheets of tissue paper - color gray (or your choice).
Other items: pen or pencil, cutter or scissors, regular tape, double sided tape.
To Make the Diaper Flowers (30):
30 Baby Diapers #2
30 Hair Bands
15 Skewers - 8 inches L
15 Skewers - 10 inches L
To Make the Tulle Flowers (20):
2 1/2 Yards of Tulle - blue/green (or your choice).
10 Skewers - 8 inches L
10 Skewers - 10 inches L
20 Hair Bands
To Make the Paper Flowers (64):
7 Sheets of Gift Wrapping Tissue (Tissue Paper) in light Pink - that makes 28 Flowers. From these flowers 20 goes in a circle at the bottom, and the rest (8) goes in the middle of the flower bouquet.
4 Sheets of Gift Wrapping Tissue (Tissue Paper) in light Yellow - that makes 16 flowers.
64 Skewers (34 of 10 inches & 30 of 8 inches).
Last Step To Cover Base:
1 Piece of Clear Cellophane (Size 45 x 45 inches = 115 cm).
1 Roll of Gift Ribbon - Green (or your choice).

Hi. Absolutely beautiful concept. I decided to make a Diaper Bouquet and found that instead of using the little rubberbands to attach the tissue to the skewer, using a shiny piece of tape made it that much faster and less rips. Also, that little bit of shine, to me, is more attractive than the rubberbands. Thank you for sharing this idea, it is absolutely beautiful. I also used two colors of tissue that contrast to make one flower. Two blues. Also, scaling down the size of the tissue paper to make a smaller flower, gave my bouquet a beautiful look. I also made the flower with one sheet of tissue and one square of tulle together. Amazing results.

I LOVE your idea! 😍 This would be a great gift to take to a gender reveal party. It wouldn't be expensive to make yet it's very impressive. 👍 (If you don't mind an added idea, I would consider soaking the skewers in a diluted green food coloring a day or two ahead, letting them dry out & then wrapping the rolled diapers & "flowers" around them.)

It’s good idea but I think you add to much! That’s just a wasted time money because the person going to receive it not going to keep all that. Base: I would have just use a baby cloth blanket after all that wrapping they not going to know that there’s diapers inside. Cute but over did it!
Love this idea, I’m going to attempt to do a smaller version with the container of wipes as my base and a rectangle foam on top of that, and possibly a receiving blanket or tissue paper to cover the wipes container. Thank you🥰
