Pedulla Sawyer Farrington For woodworking Number one with a bullet is New Yorkshire Workshop but he’s an all around maker with some great woodwork thrown in.
@@davidhaworth7152 - Yea Pedulla does amazing work as well. The skill these guys possess is insane. Not just the obvious craftsmanship, but the design aspect is top notch which can be more difficult than the actual work sometimes! I like Keith Johnson’s work too.
@layneinchains4047 100% agree! I dropped out of college as a ME student because I found I really hated CAD. 10 years later, I spend 10h a week on the computer modeling or referencing CAD. Wish I had any skill whatsoever for drawing by hand like this Nick guy over here. But, also glad I didn't spend a whole 4 years at it just to become a furniture maker. Though, some of that vector geometry education would've been nice starting out hah
hey Nick, i love you buddy, thanks for the time you spend making these videos, just wanted to say that, just like sam maloof, piece by piece your becoming a legend. keep crafting my man your awesome
Your craftsmanship is truly an inspiration your eye for detail is amazing and that's an understatement just thought I'd say that keep up the truly remarkable work sir
What size round over bit? Sawyer: “big ass round over a bit” I love your videos, but every now and then you sneak something into the voice overs that just cracks me up! ♥️♥️♥️
This creation shouldn't be pigeonholed by a category. That is brilliant design coupled with superior craftsmanship. Very inspiring and masterfully performed.
Great work yet again. I really like the idea of traditional mortise and tenons and not just slap some floating tenons all over like the rest of UA-cam woodworkers are doing.
I dont know how he does it, but I am so glad this channel exists. These videos feel like bespoke commissions by a high-end woodworking lifestyle magazine that doesn't exist. As a hobbyist woodworker, I am always impressed and truly motivated to think differently about this craft every video that is released. But it's more than that. The voice-over dialogue is well-paced, yet entertaining with plenty of detail. The music sets a mood of casual fun, with moments of challenge and anticipation. The video production is by far the best I've seen, even from channels with a larger production staff.
Phenomenal work and amazing commentary. I giggled a few times, but was also provoked to form a few thoughts (which does not happen all that often, so kudos to you again).
That’s a beautiful piece Nick, as usual. And that shot of the squeeze out made me 😂. I’m basic, so nubbin and nubbin hole are both descriptive and amusing.
I have found that keeping parts as square as possible for as long as possible is never a bad thing. I save any tapering until the last possible operation.
Little details matter and you are exceptional at making every little detail count and look flawless. One tip. For your hardware screws.. go get a pair of wire strippers. You will notice the side has holes where it looks like you can screw in something. Those are there for electricians to cut down the screws for junction boxes. They work for cutting down the screws for drawer hardware and give a nice clean edge without having to use a cutting wheel or grinder.
Dang it! Haha Thanks for the correction. I definitely was not, at any time, inspired to put any mini tvs or dayton 24’s on this cabinet. OCC nice catch lol
Whats that brown glue you use? Seems to have a long open time and dries nice and invisible. Dynamite vid as always, been waiting a good while and it did not disappoint 👌
Someone needs to get laid! lol … just kidding - thank you and I appreciate the feedback! Always in a tug of war between authentic and professional. Not sure I’ll ever find a balance that works for everyone, but forever trying 🙏
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times…. BEST WOODWORKING CHANNEL ON UA-cam!!! Amazing craftsmanship as always! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Truly amazing work, Nick! What a beautiful piece of furniture!!! 😃
Merry Christmas!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

So pleased you enjoyed! The commentary is the hardest part for me to figure out in these. Glad to provoke a little noodling 🧠

Masterful work Nick. Great video too!
Excellent work as always and a professional quality video as well. Also love all of the box references.
Appreciate that! Always trying to keep it classy with the innuendo.
It doesnt matter what style you call it, that is a thing of beauty.
I am just amazed at your creativity and design abilities.
Sweet project Nick. Merry Christmas. 🎄
Another great video Nick!
Thanks for watching!
Stunning ! Love your work
Incredible work as always. What a great work of art
Love my PantoRouter. I consider it an open source tool. Always finding new ways to use it. Nice work..
Walking around with that mic 🎤 reminds me of a 1960s game show host. 😂it's awesome
Thanks for posting, I just call it beautiful. Full stop. End of. Merry Christmas & a happy, safe New Year.
Amazing work as usual.
What type of glue are you using in your glueup?
this was what I wanted for christmas
Because I like chisels, they make me feel alive! 😂
I really live life on the edge. Pun intended. 😁
You had me at bringing sexy back. 😂. Detail, detail, detail. Thank you 🫡
Last rap is something else than perfection or even music, but way of working is nice.
Stunning
Mid-century revival maybe? Anyway beautiful as always. Merry Christmas.
Я потайные шипы в ящиках режу дриммелем с маленьким кругом, пропил чище, аккуратней выходит.)))) молодцом, красота)
I have found that keeping parts as square as possible for as long as possible is never a bad thing. I save any tapering until the last possible operation.
It’s beautiful!
As always Nick is the best.
Wegner and Jacobsen would approve 👍🏼😊🍻
Fortunately, I am not anti-symantic. This piece is inspired. Thats enouph. Merry Christmas
Very impressive. Thanks

Fantastic as usual. Why epoxy to build the main box rather than normal wood glue?
Absolutely breathtakingbuild. May I ask what finish you're using?
16:45 West Coast Customs was the company for Pimp My Ride. I'm guessing you mean Orange County Choppers. Great memories either way 😂
Is the epoxy used just for the longer open time? Or are there other reasons?
Just random. I miss the Harvey table saw. That thing was beautiful
its a beautiful piece of The Jetsons era furniture circa 1960.
It looks like it can be a birdhouse😂. Just kidding. Looks awesome!! Sick video and background music!!
Nick you're a fine Craftsman I have a lot of the same tools you have I have a pantorouter I haven't had the chance to use it yet
I’m sure you’re as capable as I am! Thank you!
Magnifique
Maybe it matters to some db on park ave trying to sell this to another db. anyways, this is a badass mid-next, and eventually ancient work of art!
Mid-century inspired and I want one. But definitely not mid-century. I mean... it has dovetails and isn't teak 😆
6:37 - That line blindsided me, if I'm honest. I had to pause to regain my composure.
16:43 Who's gonna tell him?
Sweeeet
👍👍👍👍
Mid-Century Modern Design = Post World War II design = Fifties design = Mid-Twentieth Century Design
Hope its not,,late Sawyer''. If that awnsers youre question?😂
Mid century modern is nice, but many pieces from that era where timeless in comparison to other eras so let’s call it what it was
Love this channel but dude gotta chill with all the references to sex and shit, once or twice ok,but all the time ,just get annoying

@@SawyerDesignI lol’d so you can’t please everyone.
@SawyerDesign i get it!!! Love your work! We design so similarly, I loved the bench in fine woodworking! Congrats!
Youre shop is messy? Buddy if you could see mine... literal dogshit I have to clean up to get my tools out...
Beautiful work, but dated.
Sloppy boxes
The secret is copying the design, right? (Except for the legs, they screwed it up...)
