Bloodborne on PS5 - Rom, the Vacuous Spider Boss Fight (No Hits Taken / Melee Only) / Rom, the Vacuous Spider No Damage No Hit Boss Fight Bloodborne. Just a quick video showing the Rom, the Vacuous Spider boss in Bloodborne, taking no damage while playing a melee only build without ranged weapons, on Bloodborne being played on PlayStation 5. Details below.
Great looking arena, but that's about all it has going for it. It's mostly a test of patience and not being too greedy once again, and if you take your time it's pretty easy to deal with.
Getting ready for Elden Ring, and continuing on from Demon's Souls, Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 to part 5 of the 6 part series - playing through Bloodborne and doing all off the bosses with no hits and melee only, including the DLC and Chalice Dungeon bosses. I'll be doing the same for Sekiro after this, including all of the DLC bosses.
It's not the most difficult challenge, and people have done these full games without taking a hit. I just wanted to experience all of the bosses again by From Software and do them in my own way. I don't have the time required to invest in full game no hits and make videos for those, so I just wanted to set my own benchmark and have a catalogue on the channel of all of the individual bosses without taking damage with melee only, at the very least.
For the easier bosses: As there's quite a few bosses that are very straight forward and don't take much to no hit at all, it still doesn't make any sense just to skip the simple bosses. I'm not uploading to show off or saying they're difficult by any means, purely for consistency sake and uploading every boss in the game.
I may mess around with BL4 runs after completing all of the games if I feel like playing them even more. I'll see how I feel once these are all gone through.
Bloodborne on PS5? Unfortunately, Bloodborne is the only game that is yet to receive a performance update, 60fps patch or remaster. The loads times are slightly improve on the PS5 compared to the PS4, but outside of that everything remains the same. I was hoping by the time I got up to the Bloodborne part of this series a PS5 remaster would be released or announced, but it seems unlikely in the near future. Perhaps one day though.

It's what made me stop playing the game for like a week dude. I had to force myself to play and I was saying "ew ew ew" the entire fight. It was smooth sailing from there until I got to Nightmare of Mensis.... You know what room I'm talking about...

why dont you use blood beast pellets to make your strength go up? i feel like itd be cool since you take no damage

Blood pellets reduce your armor, in ng+ you will be one shot especially in chalices

Worst fight in the franchise, more antithetical to bloodborne than BOC is to dark souls one, punishes killing off the adds and has so many its downright discriminatory against people that physically can only focus on so many different things at once. A fight that is not about skill.
