  • Most chaos-based modules have multiple outputs, taken at different points in their internal feedback loops. All of the outputs run at the same underlying frequency and are related in a general way, but have different waveforms present. In this movie we exploring using it to drive two and then three parameters of a 2hp Vowel vocal synthesis module, making it “speak in tongues”…

    Awesome vowel sounds!
How would you compare this to a eurorack implementation of the Rungler circuit like the After Later Benjolin V2?

I think they're very different - ChaQuO is more smooth; the Rungler is more...well, chaotic! :-)

Great demo of chaos! I like that this module allows the use of outside sources. That's something lacking from others. Come to think of it, don't think I've seen any.

The Chaotica does not take an outside "drive", but it does have an interesting reset input that restarts its process.

@@LearningModular Cool! I ended up grabbing a Snazzy FX Chaos Brother. No external drive but it does cave a CV in that allows you to rhythmically effect the output, as well as a comparator that uses the chaotic signal to produce aperiodic gates that will generally align within the grid imposed by an outside clock into CV. Excited for it to arrive so I can explore. Thanks for inspiring me to pick this up.

Thanks for the great module explanation. Excellent balance between theory and practice.
