Ok here’s a tip of advice. Ride while taking half clutch in muddy roads and match the speed with the suitable rpm.. you can do the same on river crossing as well…it’ll be easier to cross if your make your bike kinda heavy in such patches. And do not apply front brake in such muddy road or any off road okay. Also at some parts of the road you might feel like your bike’s gliding due to slipping, at such condition don’t brake don’t do anything take full cluthch and let your bike glide till it’s stable.. we face such thing many time’s while offroading in muddy roads. Also try engine braking more often, it helps very much in nepal’s road. Everyone is very much proud of you and have a veryy veryy safe ride. You’ve made it sooo farr.. so this proves you’re a very strong girl. Ride safe and also take care of your health as well. I wish that you have a very safe ridee.👍❤️
I also did a ride to Muktinath a few weeks back. My height is 5.4FT and I was on Dominar 400. You can easily do it. In slush and wet area go slow and constant speed without front braking.engine braking helps a lot. Have a safe ride. ❤️

I am amazed at your courage and fortitude! I am also amazed at how much Nepal has developed. I have been to Muktinath twice, once in 1986 and once in 1987. But I had to walk it up. The route is slightly different although the route from Tatopani (and even downstream of Tatopani) is pretty much the same. Except that there was no road. Only a pagdandi. The hot springs on the left bank that you ignored, I have had a bath in, walking down the pagdandi from Tatopani, where I was staying. I saw a giant king cobra on the pagdandi. Luckily for me, it stood up to warn me. Must have been around 6 ft from the ground, with another 7-8 ft on the ground.
Tatopani also has hot springs but on the right bank, probably near the ATM where you withdrew money.
The walking route did not start with Beni and Kusma although there was also a route beginning from Baglung, which is where the bus would have dropped you at that time. I however, took a tempo from Pokhara to Suikhet. Then climbed via Nau Danda to Chandrakot, where I spent the first night. Next descended to the Lal Khola (river) at Birethanti and stopped for the night at Tirkedhunga. Next day climbed from Tirkedhunga (4600 ft) to Ghodapani (9600 ft). I was half dead when I reached so I stayed a couple of days at Ghodapani to recover. Then descended to Tatopani (3600 ft), via Chitre, Sikha and Ghara. Again stayed a couple of days to recover. Bathed in the hot springs. The next day I climbed to Kalopani (8300 ft) via Dana and Ghasa. This blog of yours appears to have ended just short of Ghasa. Kalopani, despite its name was (then) the most beautiful pace I had ever seen. It is in the deepest gorge in the world, rising to the Dhaulagiri summit (26,795 ft) to the West and the Annapurna summit (26,504 ft) to the East. I stayed in the See You Lodge, which was a really beautiful place where all guests were looked after very well by a young girl called Shakuntala. I like the See You Lodge so much that I stayed there an extra day. Then again stayed 2 days on the way back and again stayed there in 1987. Is it still there? At Jomosom, I used to stay at Om's Home, which had all modern facilities, even in those days. Mind you, the See You Lodge in Kalopani also had hot water thru Solar, even in 1986. Looking forward to reading your next instalment.
But now the baglung,Kusma has become the most attraction bez of bunji jupm and sky lake.

Hi. Just finished the same ride from kathmandu to Muktinah solo as a Brit abroad. Everyone who was on a bike was so helpful. I did it on a Hero XTPulse 200 which was great. The toughest part is the KTM to Pokhara on the way home after 10 days, you start to get tired and the road is muddy and bumpy as hell for 3.5hrs plus all the traffic. Thats the only time I almost had an accident. Next time I would fly to pokhara and pick up the bike from there. The ride upto Muktinah is gorgeous. Respect for doing that alone, well done

Power to you RGV.. I tried this route in 2017 but due to our bike broke down we had to drop the idea to go to Muktinath and Returned from Tatopani.. but yes one day again will try and will complete the Muktinath ride. Your vlog brought back all those riding memories.
