OMG!!!!! Not for tha faint hearted, scenery is wonderful and the lake was tranquil. Drone shots again enhance the experience and give that birds eye view that brings it all together. Stunning!
This really looks like a fun walk to do. I feel like I must prepare my condition to be able to do it since it's harder to do. Totally worth it. I hope I can do this when I go visit Germany. Thanks for the fun video. It gave me inspiration :) Going to look for more videos on your channel to visit south Germany! :D
So happy I discovered your channel!! I am British and have been living in Munich for nearly 4 years. I feel so privileged to be living on the doorstep to some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet 😍 (I don’t think that’s understating it). What map or app did you use on this trail? Or was it fine to just follow the yellow signposts?
We feel the same! We use AllTrails. I don't remember there being many signs along the way, but once you get to the proper trail head at the base of the mountains, the trail is pretty straight forward, especially in the summer when so many people are hikng there.
How long was the hike? Km/Mi and more important, hours? Was expecting to see some kind of summary in the conclusion. Great video, but missing the couple key points of info to evaluate taking the journey.
Hey, good point. We've been making an effort to make the vids engaging to retain viewers. In our efforts, I guess we did miss the key aspects. The hike is about 9 miles and 3,200 ft of elevation gain. According to online sources, it should take about 3 hours to hike up, but it took us more like 5. In total (accounting for hiking slowly, plenty of breaks, and spending 4 hours at the lake) we took 13 hours from beginning to end.
Guys i love your channel, but please be careful where you fly your drone. because the footage you upload here is pretty much proof that you flew it. Just...well...*cough*...take a look at the wiki page for Schrecksee and you know what i'm talking about.

@@NearFromHome yeah they look ridiculous.. :)
How long did it take you to get there from that hotel?
Probably about 4 hours 🫠Buttt we are very slow hikers and had to stop a lot to film
