I was admiring others-anointing and despising my own. When I was led to this video and repentance was made. He showed me how I was incapable to walk in their shoes. struggles with drug addiction and is an alcoholic. He is 30 years old, please
pray for his salvation. He knows of God but had not committed his life entirely
to God. First, His girlfriend decided to move out and took his kids with her.
Shortly after that he lost his job. Right after that he lost his apartment and
right at this moment he is currently in jail. He got arrested for DWI and we don’t
know what will come out of this. Pray that my brother will finally come to know
our Lord with the tails he is going through.

My comment nor anyone else’s comments will change someone’s view... I have met Heidi a few times and she would rather you dislike her but love Jesus... I use to not like Heidi but after being a missionary in Africa for 10 years I came to really admire her... she is the real deal... I may not do what she does but she has gone through the fire in love for her fellow brothers and sister in Mozambique... I went to John stotts Church, Tim Keller, love Ravi but began to read Catherine Marshall and how she got healed of TB and how she began speaking in tongues and in my angelican church I began to speak in tongues... but I would never push that on someone nor would I judge them for speaking it or not... a big difference between islam and Christianity is that islam tends to be more united versus us the body or Christ we just divide and have as many churches as Starbucks... perhaps Heidi is right but perhaps she is wrong but she is our sister in Christ and let’s speak words of love to one another not a two hour heated debate... let’s leave that to John Lennox in defending the gospel against Richard Dawkins... so whether you speak in tongues or think it’s of the devil as long as you have Christ as your lord and savior we are brothers and sisters... a great book about tongues is they “ They speak in other tongues” by John Sherrill who he and his wife were the ghostwriters for several Christian books..he was the next door neighbor to Catherine Marshall in the 60’s and he was not a Christian but he had cancer and went over to Catherine’s House one day and she prayed for him and he got healed and saved and then she told him that she started to speak in tongues but he was very skeptical and investigated it and wrote the book “ they speak in other tongues”... he comes to his own conclusion which may not suffice tongue folks nor may it suffice non tongue folks but it’s an intelligent look at it... bless you brothers and sisters in Christ...

I do not believe Linda is addressing anyone in particular. Just a general warning or word of encouragement rather. I believe its 100 percent okay to seek others for advice you do not understand. Just like asking your boss at work for something you may not understand. I believe God can provide the grace in the answer to help us where we need help. I still do not have understanding on dealing with false prophets. But in general my rule of living is live the bible out, its breathing its alive, its the number 1 way that I know of God can speak to me. Keep the faith everyone! Lets over come with JEsus!

SHACHAH BABA - In the Hebrew the word for worship is“Shachah” (shaka) it comes from the root word “Chavah” meaning to bow down or to prostrate oneself before anyone to do him honor or reverence. It also means to humble oneself and submit. (Gen. 22:5)
Also this refers to a worshiper who has prostrated him or her self so low that when they speak their voice arises out of the dust. (Isaiah 29:4)
“Shachah” is worship that is only ascribed to the Lord Jehovah, Daddy God.
“BABA” is Chinese for Daddy and a common nickname for daddy used in languages spanning countries from West Africa to the Eastern Mediterranean all the way to the East Asia....

What is the point of swimming on the carpet? Why would the Holy Spirit ever do this to an individual? What biblical point does this serve demonstrate? How does knocking people out and incapacitating people, causing utter disorganization and confusion serve to edify the church? There is no biblical context for this type of behaviour that I am aware of. If someone knows of one please educate me.
The only biblical context is that we were warned this would happen:
"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,"

According to Baker, wanting to be in control (in the context of composure and behavior, because the wider topic of discussion has been bizarre actions like swimming on a carpet) stops you going "deeper", whatever that means.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires."
Galatians 5:22-24
Note self-control, of which Baker often shows none, with her manifestations and drunkenness.
She has self control against sin which i think scripture is talking about there. Jesus said to keep the heart clean, because out of the heart comes all kinds of fornications murders, envys, etc. That's why when you're living by the spirit youll have the fruits of the spirit which is the opposite of all that, and self control against those wicked things. As far as i know about her, she seems to be walking in righteousness and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. Also Paul says in corinthians that no man can say Jesus is Lord without the Holy Ghost, so what spirit does she possess if she is proclaiming Jesus is Lord?

I've known Heidi since 1978 when she led our Street Theater ministry team while at SCC ( Vanguard University now ). We spent a lot of time together in ministry and fellowship.
We also went on missions to Mexicali, Mexico, England ( as the Lord said at Heidi's conversion ) Holland, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Whales,
One could go on a long time extolling her virtues ( while she points to Jesus ) but briefly, she was practically perfect.
Well, she tried to cram her junior and senior year into one but came up short and left me the leadership of the team and started Iris Ministries leaving her BA degree to later. So she wasn't perfectly perfect.
But concerning love to others, and those within the group. She's an anomaly.
I believe because of her initial calling and other blessings, and her surrender to the Lord dally, she's off the charts to be able to bless others.
She chose me all but once to be her witnessing partner, and I've preached Christ and Him crucified since 74. Jesus is Lord!
We had six children in the Lord together, so to speak, and countless seeds of the gospel planted. Our key sketch portrayed Jesus dieing and resurrecting and saving. We wrote it. We did Toymaker and Son with YWAM ( England, 79 ) and it was a strong message of Christ's love, sacrifice and resurrection.
I read one complaint somewhere saying she doesn't proclaim Jesus as Lord, but she actually said "the Lord Jesus" in the first sentence of that interview. Some people don't listen enough.
There's just too much to explain.

Just a note as I'm reading the comments below and lead to write from the scripture of Matthew that GOD has kept me looking at for the last week and confirmed, perhaps for this response to comments here....God said that you will know them by their fruits. If you have followed the Bakers, you would see astronomical fruit. The same as what JESUS said to tell John the Basptist of. Be not mistaken, GOD says that even the productive fruit trees were pruned to produce even more and those that did not produce would be cast into the Fire. GOD says those that ABIDE in me will bear much fruit. In fact HE says you can ONLY produce fruit by abiding in HIM. Those that do not abide in HIM are not his. So for those that question the Bakers, please recognize GOD is their ABIDING Place and they have huge fruit, more than most of us do, so don't worry about the things that you are detailing like they are everything. If you do are don't agree with the teaching, just look at the evidence of fruit that GOD has done. Look at their ministry, look at those saved, or go spend some time working with their organization and help in their country. Please, fix your eyes on what JESUS is loving and you will see HIM. No plank or speck picking lets focus on what GOD is delighted in. Turely I am jealous to give GOD all of myself and be just as willing to answer even the most foolish of things if my LORD would use that for HIS Glory to release me even the deeper for him or be free to help others step out of their self imposed chains. I know this video has born fruit in me, as I receive The LORD's SPIRIT to send me out filled with HIS HOLY SPIRIT that HE said would be in me, when he asended. I recognize I am strengthened to be full of faith not wavering to do the will of GOD HE has set for me. - Right there is proof of fruit, as scripture says to encourage one another in the Love of GOD. I thank GOD for using the Bakers to encourage my SPIRIT to unashamedly bring the gospel to others. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of CHRIST, for it is SALVATION to ALL who BELIEVE IT!
AND I am fully assured GOD will use me to raise the dead, open ears, have the blind see, heal the heart, and remove all sickness, disease, poverty, and lack. We are the Father's who says HE will give if we ask! GOD has used me in Africa, has given dreams, visions, visitation... HE also brought my husband back to me. I have identical twins because I asked. I am so small, but I love my LORD and I will contend and I will spend time in HIS presence. I will have nothing less than my twins walking in the power of the LORD and being Humble in HIS sight. I am allowed to content for that in the SPIRIT! So who cares if I am a person who sits in my senses in HIS presence, or cry on the floor in HIS presence, or act out of control, that is frivolous stuff to get stuck on. Instead pray for one another with the same LOVE GOD has for you! HE is our hope and our song. HE is everything. I am jealous to even more hear people like Henry Carver, who said he is addicted to asking GOD to give him situations that only GOD's miracles can get him out of, and if you know his actual life, you wold know GOD answered his prayer! Perfect love casts out all fear! Let's abandon it all and find ourselves in HIM and not worry what that looks like, like Heidi said, we are individuals, but let's be one in CHIRST!
I rather ignore, pray for them, and keep on moving. They will have to live in account to their own words and thoughts before the Lord. They will either learn to love or hate his people. If they choose to be his ally, they will quit judging and discern properly. If they choose to be his enemy, they will continue on calling the people of God "Devil Worshippers". Nonetheless I will pray for these people to not only get God on them, but to have a vision to focus on.

Father, as she immerse herself in your presence right now, I believe that she will be more thirsty for you. Have more hunger for your word, your presence and all that is coming from your heart o God! From this moment on, her struggles and her old lifestyle along with the old mindset is no longer part of her! The fire for God is in her and with her wherever she goes. There is no more looking back now, just moving forward and stretching left and right! All of these I pray in the name of Jesus, let his will be done in you as it is in heaven! AMEN!

"everybody gets to walk in their own shoes," said heidi. interesting, because i just watched a video where she was sharing the story of giving away her flip-flops, scores of flip-flops, and getting nasty diseases because of walking in bare feet in the garbage dump. until she heard jesus tell her that he never asked her to give away her shoes. and that he wanted her to believe for thousands (maybe it was even millions) of pairs of flip-flops for the people. their own shoes! yes, lord, everyone having their own shoes. amen!
If you stumble upon any haters of this lady, I would ignore, pray for them, and keep on moving. They will have to live in account to their own words and thoughts before the Lord. They will either learn to love or hate his people. If they choose to be his ally, they will quit judging and discern properly. If they choose to be his enemy, they will continue on calling the people of God "Devil Worshippers". Enemies of God perish in this life and the next. Nonetheless I will pray for these people to not only get God on the inside of them, but to have a vision to focus on.
Is this true, "Son of Jesus:": Will the "Enemies of God" (and of Heidi Baker for that matter) "perish in this life and the next"? Your big problem, dear "son," is that you have no discernment whatsoever. The only thing you are doing is to come up with idle and useless threats to those who are not in agreement with what you do believe about Heidi. No quotations from the Scriptures are given in this regard. Now, here is a threat, not by me but by Jesus Christ Himself:
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:21-23)
And this, dear "son," is a REAL threat, not by me but by Jesus of which Heidi (and her entourage) are professing to be His servants. And you and all others here who had an obligation to warn their fellow-Christians against false prophets as Heidi, have chosen to support her and admire her instead. So, if you all do not repent, you have to expect the same "blessing" as Heidi will receive (if she not regret). And by concluding, I would like to say the following:
